eDoorways Corp. (EDWY.PK) Strengthens Role of PowerChannels

Wednesday, July 28th, 2010

eDoorways Corp., a fast growing online combination of social network and vendor marketplace, anticipates a strong second half of 2010, based largely on increasing demand for PowerChannels.

eDoorways PowerChannels are essentially highly focused, collaborative social networks that are formed to accomplish a specific communication objective that can be business-oriented, recreational, or purely personal. It complements the overall goal of eDoorways, to provide focused communities where members with similar interests can communicate, while drawing upon the resources of vendors and independent experts. This gives vendors a unique environment for honest two-way communication with the marketplace, growing their standing in the community far more effectively than by simple advertising.

The first half of the year has seen continued expansion of website functionality, including the deployment of PowerChannels as a major opportunity for growth and revenue. Software is continually being enhanced to process subscription revenue as well as payments made for Powerkey notification, in addition to the processing of ecommerce transactions.

PowerChannels also represent a mechanism to encourage viral expansion, as word spreads about specific communities. An example is CorkSport, a web-based Mazda high-performance parts and service business that is in the process of bringing thousands of its clients into its own PowerChannel. As a result, PowerChannels are now an integral part of eDoorways’ business plan and sales rollout strategy, and demand is growing.

Other areas of activity include the company’s largest client, ISTEC (Ibero-American Science, Technology and Education Consortium), which is in the first stage of migrating its many members to the eDoorways platform. ISTEC enjoys a strong working alliance with two international organizations, both of which have global conferences later this year that eDoorways will attend.

eDoorways CEO, Gary Kimmons, spoke of upcoming events. “We have three major events for which we are planning. First, we have the COMCYT-OAS meeting in Washington, DC starting September 9th. Then, the World Engineering Education Forum (WEEF) will be held in Singapore beginning October 17th. Then, on November 29th, the ISTEC General Assembly will be held in Porto Alegre, Brazil. These are all key events that we intend to leverage to increase membership and participation in the eDoorways platform.”

eDoorways Corp. (EDWY.PK) Boosts Investor Communications with InvestorsVoice

Thursday, July 22nd, 2010

eDoorways Corp. recently announced that it has engaged InvestorsVoice, Inc. to assist in its ongoing efforts to communicate with the investment community. InvestorsVoice is a multi-faceted investor relations, communications, and public relations firm based in Houston, Texas.

The agreement calls for InvestorsVoice to provide existing and potential investors the opportunity to learn more about eDoorways, either directly or through investment advisors. Information provided will relate to the company’s management and its strategy, with the immediate goal of developing and producing investor relations material.

The tremendous number of investment related information sources currently available on the Internet, including social networking conversations, allows investors to evaluate opportunities in many new and different ways. At the same time, the sheer volume of outlets has made it more complex for businesses to reach out to investors. InvestorsVoice simplifies these efforts, helping to manage and prioritize investor communication options to better communicate with and engage the investment community.

As part of this, InvestorsVoice is now utilizing eDoorways Powerkey technology, with an InvestorsVoice IR Channel, available at www.edoorways.com/Investors-Voice.

eDoorways CEO, Gary Kimmons, said, “We are very excited about utilizing InvestorsVoice resources to build a strong shareholder value. We will be capitalizing on InvestorsVoice know-how and experience to get the necessary awareness about our company out to our shareholders and investment community.”

InvestorsVoice Sr. VP, Robert Adams, added, “The objective of our Investor Relations service is to create shareholders by helping businesses improve their companies’ findability, versus traditional approaches to marketing — which merely solicit investors through interrupt-based outreach efforts. The InvestorsVoice IR approach helps companies shift from telling investors what they need, to helping them find what they want.”

eDoorways Corp. (EDWY.PK) Gives Vendors The Keys To Power

Friday, July 16th, 2010

The new and rapidly developing vendor/consumer online network created by eDoorways Corp. bases a lot of its value on the use of what the company calls PowerKeys. PowerKeys essentially allow vendors to buy a link to potentially thousands of targeted consumers, in addition to encouraging their existing customers to communicate with each other and the vendor. By identifying and making claim to a social network of people with a common interest, a vendor becomes a focal point resource for that community. Connecting consumers to each other and to vendors in a focused social network environment is an overall goal of eDoorways.

A good example is CorkSport, an Oregon based company dedicated to offering high level performance products and support for Mazda vehicles. It’s one of the oldest Mazda aftermarket parts producers in the country, now serving Mazda clients around the world, but the company wanted a more aggressive online marketing plan. CorkSport saw the eDoorways Powerkey Channel functionality as a new way to reach and enhance its already large customer base, putting the company ahead of its competitors.

CorkSport Co-Founder, Derrick Ambrose, commented on what eDoorways offers them. “With the upcoming launch of the CorkSport PowerKey Channel, not only will we be able to communicate in real time with our clients in the United States, but our international clients will also have real time access to our company and to each other. We are looking forward to sharing the new developments with our clients and witnessing the great things our customers are doing with our products all over the world using the eDoorways platform.”

eDoorways Chairman and CEO, Gary Kimmons, said, “CorkSport is a great way for us to prove the value of the PowerKeys and our PowerKey Channel model. First off, the revenue potential of this deal is very impressive. Not to mention, we instantaneously have roughly 22,000 new users on the platform; all interacting in a space built just for them. These users get the ability to network in an entirely new way about specific common interest. This is the power of the PowerKey Channel model.”

eDoorways is already seeing interest by other automotive businesses, and has been in talks with several corporate channel prospects.

eDoorways Corp. (EDWY.PK) – Unlocking The Promise Of The Internet

Wednesday, July 7th, 2010

Although the Internet has come to mean many different things to different people, for the average individual its ultimate promise has remained constant: the totally fluid exchange of desired information. In other words, the answer to any question you have, whenever you need it. eDoorways Corporation, more than perhaps any other company, has chosen to address this promise head on.

The company calls its platform a revolutionary business-to-consumer social network website, integrating various advanced search technologies to help consumers better solve lifestyle problems while driving highly targeted traffic to service providers. The key competitive advantage is the next-generation networking interface that allows anyone to instantaneously source the exact information, products, and services they need. The idea is to avoid the ocean of irrelevancy commonly associated with current search engines, replacing it with a focused and customized environment, based upon a more comprehensive understanding of the user.

The company has made clear that it intends to capitalize on, and add to, various elements of today’s online and consumer environment:

1) Web 2.0 offerings, such as MySpace, CraigsList, and Wikipedia
2) Micro (niche) marketing and targeted service offerings
3) Emergence of new technologies, enabling flexible aggregation and presentation of information
4) Technologically savvy consumers who depend on the Web for buying decisions

The result is not just one more online shopping mall. It represents instead a new and unprecedented two-way information resource. For consumers, it means quicker access to relevant solutions. For vendors, it means an unmatched opportunity to build short and long term relationships with prospective buyers.

The potential of such an approach is seen in the numbers: There are over 45 million young, Internet-savvy adults, representing the company’s immediate consumer target. Add to that the small business market, more than 90% of business in America, and you have nearly unlimited potential.

Originally known as GK Intelligent Systems, Mr. Kimmons’ company developed SmartOneSM, a patented learning technology. The system was selected by no less than the United Nations as its software flag technology. The company later went on to successfully associate the SmartOne brand with other national brands, including The Smithsonian, AOL, Radio Shack, and National Geographic, among others. eDoorways Corp. (EDWY.PK) Sales Efforts Led by Retail Marketing Expert

Wednesday, June 23rd, 2010

Marty Lobkowicz leads eDoorways’ sales and marketing efforts as the retail sales and marketing director. He is president of MML International Inc., a marketing consulting firm based in Delray Beach, Florida. His firm assists both nationally branded and emerging manufacturing entities in developing and implementing effective sales and marketing plans.

Marty Lobkowicz has spent his entire career in the retail industry. For the first 20 years, he worked for several large retail companies including BJ’s Wholesale Club and Office Depot in finance and product merchandising positions. At Office Depot, he was vice-president and general merchandising manager of the technology products division. In that role, he assumed primary responsibility for the profitability of the division. At that time, Mr. Lobkowwicz also had the opportunity to meet and develop relationships with other key executives in the retail industry.

Marty was able to capitalize on his Office Depot experience in 1998 when he started his own sales and marketing company – MML International. His company specializes in getting manufacturers’ products placed in the retail distribution channel. Over the last 8 years, his firm has helped a number of emerging firms like eDoorways and helped placed their products and services into a number of the largest retailers in the country. Over this period, MML International has developed a reputation for professionalism and success.

Mr. Lobkowicz’s experience and extensive contacts in the industry will support the rollout of DOORWAYS to the marketplace. Marty has already worked with eDoorways in its previous incarnation, a learning technology firm marketing its first product – an advanced software that teaches people about the Internet called “Around the Web in 80 Minutes.” He placed the product with top nationally-branded distributors and retailers. He was largely responsible for the company, then known as GK Intelligent Systems, and its product being designated as number one in 1999 by American retailers at their annual retail exchange meeting. It is no wonder that eDoorways selected Mr. Lobkowicz to lead their current endeavors.

eDoorways Corp. (EDWY.PK) Tightens Its Operational Focus to Accelerate Growth

Tuesday, June 8th, 2010

eDoorways Corp., the innovative new vendor/consumer online social network, has taken steps recently to increase its focus on what it considers to be the most important elements of its development. Specifically, as the company continues to grow through these early and critical stages, it recognizes the need to minimize administrative distractions, allowing it to better devote resources to product improvement and releases. The goal is to accelerate the introduction of eDoorways to the marketplace where it can generate revenue.

One of the things they’ve done is file Form 15 with the SEC, which temporarily removes filing pressures while still allowing the company to continue filing any time it wants. The move frees up manpower and financial resources, though the company made clear that it does not in any way constitute a change from their current operational status. Daily trading will continue as usual, and eDoorways has no intention of going private or taking a voluntary de-listing.

eDoorways has also begun to spread out their feature release schedule, so that releases are more frequent. The idea is to get new functionalities out to the public as quickly as possible, without having to wait for a major release. For example, they recently added the important offline text message notification feature, allowing vendors who cannot always be online the assurance that they will get notified if someone on the eDoorways site selects them to join a conversation. eDoorways has gotten a favorable response to their new PowerKey Channels, where vendors can pay for keywords used in consumer searches, and the company sees an opportunity to make significant inroads in a short amount of time. CorkSport, an international automotive aftermarket specialty company, is the first PowerkKey Channel client.

eDoorways Chairman and CEO, Gary Kimmons, said of the strategy, “We currently have several PowerKey Channel opportunities similar to CorkSport which will bring in a significant number of users. We believe it’s imperative to spend our capital on getting the product out and attaining profitability. We believe that building traffic and generating revenue are the most important things we can be doing. When those are achieved, all good things are possible.”

The company believes that preserving cash, while continuing to enhance their product and build the business, is where they should direct their focus. As they meet those objectives, the plan is to include financial reports to the SEC. At that time, the company’s financials and corporate valuation could earn them entry into one of the higher markets.

eDoorways Corp. (EDWY.PK) Continues Adding Promised Features

Friday, May 28th, 2010

eDoorways Corp., the rapidly developing vendor/consumer online network, has moved to a new and quicker pace for adding functionality to its site. As promised in their last shareholder conference call, they have initiated smaller releases to get requested features out more quickly without having to wait for completion of a larger release.

Using this new approach, they’ve recently added offline text message notification, one of the most important new features. It allows vendors who cannot be online at all times to be automatically notified if someone on the eDoorways site has selected them to join a conversation. This new functionality is easily turned on or off by selecting the text messaging option on the Account Settings page. It also allows you to specify multiple delivery methods, such as text, email, or even Twitter notification. The new feature should significantly increase the value of eDoorways to smaller vendors who don’t always have access to a computer.

Offline notification comes into play in two situations. If a user does a search and selects to chat with you, but you are offline, the chat request notification will be sent to you. And if you are engaged in a conversation, and log off while leaving it open in your conversations panel, you will receive an offline notification.

Also, if you happen to be offline when somebody requests a chat, the chat will be listed in your conversations window when you log in. This ensures that you won’t forget about earlier requests when you finally get to a computer.

Another new feature is the addition of time stamps to chat entries, which provides improved context to the conversation, allowing you to see how long it has been since the last comment.

All of this represents important new ways that eDoorways is increasing its value to small vendors. They’ve also released a number of minor bug fixes, and have improved their ability to monitor the site. They plan to continue with these small releases as they move toward their Q2 milestones.

eDoorways Corp. (EDWY.PK) Web 3.0 Tech Corner

Friday, May 21st, 2010

eDoorways Corp. is a fast-growing vendor/consumer online network based on the idea that social networking and advanced search technologies represents a huge opportunity for vendor and consumer communication and interaction. The company is facilitating this interaction through its eDoorways platform. For more information on the company and its eDoorways platform, please visit www.edoorwayscorp.com.

The eDoorways platform creates an immediate solutions network which connects local businesses with consumers in need of immediate answers, goods or services, with expert assistance. This network of people and small businesses offers immediate solutions on a level never before possible. This platform will not only save consumers valuable time and money, but it will allow businesses an effective new way to generate revenues.

As part of its continuing evolution, the company has recently added a “tech corner” to its website which intends to be a place to share in-depth ideas about technology and its recent developments in technology and new software capabilities. eDoorways stays current on upcoming technologies and intends to bring to consumers the best of what current tech has to offer.

Web 2.0 technology has been somewhat passive in the revolution of collaboration and open-source technology. Internet technologies are quickly moving out of Web 2.0 functionalities and into Web 3.0. The new eDoorways application software will enable a personal computing environment to understand more about the user and their collaborations in ways that wholly personalizes the user’s online experience.

The more time a user spends in their computing environment, with new Web 3.0 technology, the more it will “learn” about the user – who they are, what they do, and what they need. In Web 3.0, users will finally get the support and help they need to get the right information faster and to be able to integrate that information in real time.

Focusing on Securing Additional Revenue Opportunities, eDoorways Corp. (EDWY.PK) Files Form 15

Wednesday, May 12th, 2010

eDoorways Corporation announced today that it recently filed Form 15 with the SEC, which means that the company is not formally required by the SEC to submit filings. This compliance strategy can be simply changed by making filings and does not constitute a change from their current operational status. Daily trading will continue as usual and eDoorways has absolutely no plans to take a voluntary de-listing or to go private.

According to the company, this decision to elect non-reporting status for the time being is due in part to the fact that completing the corporate audit would be considerably expensive due to the derivative issues associated with the company’s debt. It is also designed to give eDoorways more freedom to focus on getting their eDoorways service (http://www.edoorways.com) into the marketplace and to generate revenue.

The company has enjoyed a very favorable response to their website and to the new PowerKey channels. In view of this, they believe that there is a unique opportunity to make significant inroads in a short amount of time. Opportunities like CorkSport, their first PowerKey Channel client, are anticipated to create significant short term revenue for the company.

Gary Kimmons, Chairman and CEO of eDoorways Corporation, stated, “We currently have several PowerKey Channel opportunities similar to CorkSport which will bring in a significant number of users. We believe it’s imperative to spend our capital on getting the product out and attaining profitability. We believe that building traffic and generating revenue are the most important things we can be doing. When those are achieved, all good things are possible.”

In the near future the company believes that focusing on preserving cash, continuing to enhance their product, and focusing on building the business is where they should direct their focus. When they achieve those objectives, they plan to shift the emphasis to include getting their financial reports filed with the SEC. At that time, the company’s financials and corporate valuation could earn them entry into one of the higher markets such as Nasdaq.

eDoorways Corp. (EDWY.PK) Grows Social Media Connections

Tuesday, May 11th, 2010

eDoorways Corp., the fast growing vendor/consumer online network, is predicated on the idea that social networking represents a huge opportunity for vendor and consumer communication and interaction. To this end, the company has actively structured its platform to facilitate this type of link.

Most recently, eDoorways announced that it had successfully launched its Facebook integration model, including the Facebook Connect option, allowing eDoorways and Facebook users to connect and socialize through the eDoorways platform. This is an especially important move for eDoorways, since Facebook is the world’s largest social media site, serving over 400 million people. Depending upon how actively the feature is used, it could grow the eDoorways user base tremendously in a very short time.

The Social Media Consultant and Solve Project Manager for eDoorways, Ann Collins, described the new feature. “It’s such a cool feature for a web-based social network to offer and it’s so easy to use and manage. Facebook users can easily connect their account to eDoorways. Anyone who logs into eDoorways with the Facebook Connect feature can either create a new eDoorways account or connect their Facebook account to their existing eDoorways account. This feature opens many doors as we plan to give users greater flexibility in communicating across various web-based platforms.”

In another link to social networking, eDoorways users can now get their offline notifications sent to their Twitter accounts. Collins continued, “We just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to include the Twitter offline notification functionality as a kicker. We wish to give our users as many tools as possible to make their experience a pleasant and exciting one. With approximately 20 million people using Twitter, many of them on mobile devices, this is a great way for people to be notified of new requests, from eDoorways while exposing eDoorways to yet another massive web-based audience.”

eDoorways Corp. (EDWY.PK) Signs First PowerKey Channel Deal

Wednesday, May 5th, 2010

eDoorways Corp. announced today that CorkSport has agreed to become the first to subscribe to the company’s new PowerKey Channel service offering. CorkSport will use the PowerKey Channel functionality as a new outreach mechanism for their global customer base — currently at approximately 22,000 subscribers and growing rapidly. This deal will lead to increased traffic and the initial revenue eDoorways desires.

Gary Kimmons, Chairman and CEO of eDoorways Corporation, stated, “CorkSport is a great way for us to prove the value of the PowerKeys and our PowerKey Channel model. First off, the revenue potential of this deal is very impressive. Not to mention, we instantaneously have roughly 22,000 new users on the platform; all interacting in a space built just for them. These users get the ability to network in an entirely new way about specific common interest. This is the power of the PowerKey Channel model.”

CorkSport was founded in 1998 in Portland, Oregon by Derrick Ambrose and Richard Harris. Aiming to serve the Mazda brand, the company has dedicated itself to offering high level performance products and support for Mazda vehicles. Today, CorkSport is among the oldest of the aftermarket parts manufacturers in the United States exclusively serving the Mazda market.

Determining that the direct customer base could be increased exponentially through a more aggressive internet plan, CorkSport launched “CorkSport 2.0″ in 2009. With the use of blogs, robust technical online content and some social media efforts, CorkSport broadened its reach significantly across the globe. CorkSport clients reside in the US, Canada, Japan, England, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy, Puerto Rico, Australia, and the Virgin Islands amongst other places.

Following this success, CorkSport looked to enhance the overall usefulness of its services. By offering a social media medium that would be unique to the PowerKey Channel serving the Mazda enthusiast’s particular interest (automotive performance, upcoming events, etc.), yet providing clients the flexibility to interact with others outside of the private space, it is surmised that the PowerKey Channel could put CorkSport way ahead of its competitors.

Derrick Ambrose, Co-Founder of CorkSport, commented, “With the upcoming launch of the CorkSport PowerKey Channel, not only will we be able to communicate in real time with our clients in the United States, but our international clients will also have real time access to our company and to each other. We are looking forward to sharing the new developments with our clients and witnessing the great things our customers are doing with our products all over the world using the eDoorways platform.”

“CorkSport not only brings us revenue and traffic, but also serves as a great way for us to start implementing our new viral marketing campaign which is less expensive and more nimble than our original marketing plan,” added Ann Collins, Social Media Consultant and Solve Project Manager. “CorkSport is bringing a large user base of people who have a common interest and a desire to connect with each other, helping to create an environment where traffic will start to virally increase as these users spread the word to other like-minded people. This is known in social networking as creating a viral expansion loop or viral loop.

“We are already seeing interest shown by other automotive related entities who want to jump on the bandwagon. This is just the start.”

This first revenue producing agreement has moved eDoorways forward on several fronts — financially, increased traffic, visibility, marketing, etc. The company believes revenues derived from just these 22,000 unique users can potentially deliver a very healthy monthly income stream.

In the press release, eDoorways also told investors it’s in talks with several possible corporate channel prospects. A high closure rate is expected.

eDoorways Corp. (EDWY.PK) Closes in on Revenue Generation

Monday, May 3rd, 2010

eDoorways Corp. announced this morning that it is experiencing a positive market response for its Internet based service offering, www.eDoorways.com. The company is currently in the process of closing several significant revenue generating agreements associated with PowerKey channels.

eDoorways believes its strong initial marketing success is a result of the recent unveiling of PowerKey channels at South by Southwest (SXSW). The company began its initial marketing campaign at the SXSW exposition and tradeshow in Austin, Texas in mid March. According to eDoorways, the reaction to PowerKey channels was extremely positive, with a number of large organizations indicating their desire to create channels.

Gary Kimmons, CEO of eDoorways, stated, “A PowerKey channel is a specially-dedicated channel now available to interested individuals, businesses, organizations, special interest groups and associations. It enables groups of people with common interests or business affiliations to have a specific environment to find and interact with each other. For example, a car club that wishes to provide a new level of service and connectivity to its members can do so with a PowerKey channel. With the PowerKey channel, the club can offer its members unlimited PowerKey usage, chat interactivity, and in the near future, media exchange and two-way video streaming. This is a unique and highly attractive package, with many companies seeing a new, innovative way to reach and service their market.

Kimmons added, “A PowerKey channel can be public, where anyone can have the option of joining, or they can be private where the member list will be controlled and only visible to the members of that channel.”

eDoorways believes that PowerKey channels can help in the execution of a viral marketing context. The primary driver of the eDoorways collaborative platform is that there is an opportunity for people to connect and engage in beneficial commerce and discourse, regardless of whether they know each other. eDoorways is marketing its PowerKey channels to large businesses and entities with constituents already having a strong, established reason for collaborating.

Ann Collins, eDoorways Social Media Consultant and Solve Project Manager, commented, “We’re negotiating several revenue generating agreements at this time with organizations bringing user lists as much as 20,000 members. These lists will ultimately allow us to garner substantial revenues from PowerKey rentals and in the very near term, additional revenue sources through subscription versions of the PowerKey channels. To date, many organizations have shown great interest in our subscription version; affording these major companies an interactive view of the PowerKey channel on their own website.”

It’s anticipated that PowerKey channel revenues will be strong, which will be generated through monthly fees for using channels and notification services. The Company believes that these fees can total at least $4,000 to $8,000 per month for each group of 10,000 people who chose to use a channel.

According to today’s press release, the company is already in the process of negotiating the closure of its first corporate arrangement — an arrangement that could deliver nearly 30,000 users to the first Powerkey channel.

eDoorways Corp (EDWY.PK) Eyes the iPad

Thursday, April 15th, 2010

eDoorways Corp. announced in its April 9th shareholder conference call that the company is already working on its first iPad app. The company’s CEO, Gary Kimmons, went further, indicating that, when finished, the new app could be different from anything they’ve done before.

eDoorways, known for its ongoing development of an innovative online platform to link business and consumers, is hot on the trail of Apple’s new iPad, seeing it as mirroring eDoorways’ vision of future consumer computing. In anticipation of this growing move toward a more elegant user interface, such as advanced touch-screen technology, eDoorways is designing its entire ecosystem with such devices in mind. The native eDoorways platform is similar to an expanded app, offering simplicity of use and rich information displayed in a concise space. Users can easily navigate the content-rich site, from initial query to final real-time connectivity with people, businesses, and solutions.

Other eDoorways platform features include the interactive expandable display of conversations, which lets users toggle between chats and quickly view new notifications. The same accordion style is used to display people and businesses that are suggested by the search engine, pointing the user to the most relevant connections.

eDoorways’ intuitive and concise user interface is one of the many qualities that is aimed at maximizing the latest computing technologies, such as the Apple iPad. In addition, eDoorways sees iPad as offering support to its integration of the company’s SOLVE and LEARN doorways, due to its inherent mixing of information resources and types. The iPad was recently called “a revolution in mashing up text, video, course materials, [and] student input” by Duke University’s Tracy Futhey. Such mixing reflects eDoorways view of the future, one of cloud computing and flexible collaboration, a perfect fit for iPad and for eDoorways.

eDoorways CEO Kimmons summed it up, saying that the iPad may prove to be the perfect peripheral device to showcase eDoorways’ intelligent performance support capabilities.

eDoorways Corp. (EDWY.PK) Releases ‘Facebook Connect’ with Twitter Functionality

Thursday, April 8th, 2010

This morning, eDoorways Corp. excitedly announced that the company has launched its Facebook integration model, which includes the ‘Facebook Connect’ option. eDoorways and Facebook users are now able to connect and socialize through the eDoorways platform.

Ann Collins, eDoorways Social Media Consultant and Solve Project Manager, stated, “It’s such a cool feature for a web-based social network to offer and it’s so easy to use and manage.

While the basic Facebook Connect feature is popular among many sites on the web, what makes eDoorways’ use of this feature uniquely exciting is the ability to invite and communicate with Facebook friends through eDoorways. Targeting a user base of over 400 million, eDoorways believes this feature will assist the company with accessing the immensely popular Facebook community. Should this feature take off, the user base of eDoorways could possibly explode very quickly.

In addition to the FaceBook functionality, eDoorways made another special addition to the integration aspect of this release. With this new addition, eDoorways users can get their offline notifications sent to their Twitter accounts.

“We initially planned to have the Facebook integration model released four days ago,” explained Collins. “However, we just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to include the Twitter offline notification functionality as a kicker. We wish to give our users as many tools as possible to make their experience a pleasant and exciting one.”

With the integration of the Twitter offline notifications, a user would connect his or her eDoorways account to their Twitter account and then set the Notification settings to be sent to Twitter.

Ann continues, “With approximately 20 million people using Twitter, many of them on mobile devices, this is a great way for people to be notified of new requests, from eDoorways while exposing eDoorways to yet another massive web-based audience.”

The company continues to make major strides in the development of its platform and outreach strategy. Those close to the company strongly believe, should eDoorways continue on the path of creating a dynamically functioning platform, its viability for integration with larger outfits will soon be overpowering. Management asserts, at this time, eDoorways is simply concerned with turning out the best product and service offering possible for its users.

Mr. Gary Kimmons, Chairman & CEO of the eDoorways Corporation, stated, “We are very excited to produce and conduct both of these informational forums for the benefit of our shareholders. Neither should be missed.”

eDoorways Corp. (EDWY.PK) Makes Direct Connection with Top Social Networking Site

Thursday, April 1st, 2010

eDoorways Corp. announced today that it is preparing to launch its platform’s first social networking integration system, ‘Facebook Connect,’ which will allow users of the highly popular social networking site to cross-pollinate with eDoorways users and vice versa.

“This is a very exciting feature,” stated Ann Collins, eDoorways Project Manager and Social Media Consultant. “Whether you have an eDoorways or Facebook account, once you’ve connected the two, virtually any friend on either of the sites will become accessible through the eDoorways Followers / Following lists.”

While this integration feature isn’t completely unique to eDoorways, the company is one of the first social networking sites to make the feature a standard of its platform. The company believes this feature could radically increase its current user base almost overnight.

Mr. Gary Kimmons, Chairman & CEO of the eDoorways Corporation, explained, “If only 20% of our shareholder base, who may be registered on the eDoorways platform having a Facebook account, were to use the ‘Facebook Connect’ feature, it could add up to two hundred thousand potential users in a very short period of time. This is huge for us; and that’s just an estimate based on our shareholder base being active participants. I can only imagine if all of our current users hit the ‘Facebook Connect’ button, we’re suddenly exposed to millions of potential new users.”

The company also hinted that it may pursue other social networking platforms such as Twitter and LinkedIn, which are being heavily trafficked. However, just considering that the majority of people on Facebook have at least 100 friends, this integration alone should be integral to virally increasing the eDoorways user base and solidifying the company’s competitiveness.

‘Facebook Connect’ is expected to be launched within v2.5 as a bonus feature by week’s end.

Mr. Gary Kimmons, Chairman & CEO of the eDoorways Corporation, stated, “There has been much fanfare around the company’s overall state of affairs. Tuesday, March 16th, 2010

eDoorways Corp. announced this morning its successful presentation at the South By Southwest (SXSW) Interactive Festival. Whether it’s the eye-catching display booth, surprise demonstration of the company’s iPhone® application, eSee Technologies’ heAR App, a couple of hundred new site registrants or the sneak peek releases of v2.5, the Austin web-based software technology company had much to offer attendees.

Mr. Gary Kimmons, Chairman & CEO of the eDoorways Corporation, stated, “We knew that showing at South By Southwest would be a great experience for the company. A few of the biggest names in the technology space have enjoyed greater worldwide success after presenting at the Interactive Festival. We were well received by the public, capital sources and the biggest of the big guys in technology. I firmly believe that eDoorways is moving in the right direction and will soon prove its true value to our real supporters.”

With the Interactive portion of the SXSW event coming to a close, the company is now focused on the Music and Media portion of the event set to start tomorrow. This part of the tradeshow will give eDoorways the opportunity to showcase its platform yet again, to a different but very innovative group of social media enthusiasts.

“We can’t wait to get back to the booth come Wednesday,” commented Ann Collins, eDoorways Social Media Consultant and Solve Project Manager. “We have a lot to show as our iPhone® application has been a hit amongst attendees and our sneak peek releases of v2.5 have really helped users, old and new, to get even more excited about the platform’s potential — and the power they will possess when using the platform.”

eDoorways decided to release its Beta v2.5 in smaller pieces over the course of SXSW in an effort to clearly show the added functionality of this version. The v2.5 sneak peek began with the addition of saved chats and conversation histories. Over the next few days the company will release its Facebook integration which will allow Facebook users to sign up and login to eDoorways using a single click. Profile information will pre-populate relevant fields with information from their Facebook account. Once logged in, eDoorways users will have the ability to invite their Facebook friends to eDoorways and see mutual acquaintances of the people they interact with on eDoorways.

“The Facebook integration is an innovative way to not only invite more social networking savvy users into eDoorways, but to demonstrate the future capabilities and direction of our platform,” explained Ann Collins. “Think of it as social media with no bounderies… ‘doorways’ allowing fluid communication across various people networks. eDoorways Corp. (EDWY.PK) Announces Tremendous Success at SXSW’s Interactive Festival

Monday, March 15th, 2010

eDoorways Corporation announced this morning that it has had incredible success thus far at the South By Southwest (SXSW) Interactive Festival. With a well designed booth, situated on prime convention floor real estate and next to one of the biggest names in web-technology, eDoorways has impressed not only convention attendees but neighboring presenters as well. Showcasing a live demonstration of the eDoorways iPhone® App, along with the heAR Augmented Reality App launched this past weekend by eSee Technologies, eDoorways has increased its user base by signing an estimated 70% of those attendees visiting its booth.

Mr. Gary Kimmons, Chairman & CEO of the eDoorways Corporation, stated, “We are still marveling at the attention our booth has received in just two days. Compliments to its design and presentation are echoed by the high number of physical sign-ups achieved within in the first 48 hours of the festival, along with the caliber of the visitors to our booth. I am confident that this event will serve us positively in the months to come.”

Prepared for the estimated 40,000 people expected to attend the festival this year, Gary Kimmons kicked off the event by addressing the press at the conference’s media event. Giving reporters an overview, Kimmons offered the press a look into an internet service offering geared toward total personalization and access to information through advanced intelligent technologies. Through the power of the revolutionary “PowerKeys,” the significant possibilities of social networking in “pods” and easy access to the “cloud,” Kimmons spoke of an internet that through the use of eDoorways could possibly be more powerful than ever imagined.

Set up with six computers for attendee use, eDoorways representatives are kept busy at the booth, giving around the clock demonstrations of platform. With a couple hundred attendees visiting the booth over the weekend, feedback has been positive with eDoorways registering close to 200 new customers on site. Having been approached by various local, domestic and international companies inquiring about “White Label” opportunities, it’s been suggested that eDoorways’ core functionality could greatly enhance current operations at a variety of corporate and government organizations.

Using SXSW as an opportunity to unveil future developments, the company also demonstrated their iPhone® application. Scheduled to be submitted to the Apple iTunes Store next month, attendees were impressed by the ability to have live multi-level chats on their mobile phones, searching and joining the same exact conversations as those using the demonstration laptops.

“So much of the internet is going mobile and getting there quite rapidly in fact,” stated Ann Collins, eDoorways Social Media Consultant and Solve Project Manager. “It is important that we remain ahead of the curve by developing our mobile platforms parallel too our desk-top web service offerings… if not ahead of it.”

The heAR Augmented Reality Application, which also speaks to the company’s pursuit of a strong and sophisticated mobile presence, was launched over the weekend by eSee Technologies. Designed to give attendees the ability to navigate a virtual guide of the music and film festival, eSee Technologies hopes to afford Apple iPhone® & Android™ phone users (newest models) the ability to point mobile phone cameras at any location participating in the festival and see performance schedules, film schedules, learn about performing artist, tag a location, etc.

As originally anticipated, SXSW is already proving to be an incredible opportunity for eDoorways. With potential funding offers from venture capital firms and inquires from mega size technology companies, eDoorways appears to be gaining momentum and strength. Should eDoorways continue to garner such positive attention, the web-based, social networking and advanced search technology software company could become an acquisition target for any larger tech outfit lacking the component eDoorways can deliver.

eDoorways Corp. (EDWY.PK) Presentation at SXSW to Demonstrate Focus and Provide a Peek at v2.5

Monday, March 15th, 2010

eDoorways Corporation announced Friday after the closing bell that its participation in this year’s South By Southwest (SXSW) Interactive Festival will focus on demonstrating the improved functionality of the current web platform, signing on new users and offering a peek at Beta v2.5. The portion of the conference eDoorways will participate in is the SXSW Interactive Festival — an incubator of cutting-edge technologies, showcasing the most creative technology from around the globe. It is anticipated that 40,000 people will attend the Interactive Festival this year, making this a stellar opportunity for eDoorways to get premium exposure and possibly sign-up new users.

eDoorways’ focus at the tradeshow will be solely on the ongoing developments of their current web based platform. With the many opportunities that have emerged for the internet software company, such as the new contract with ISTEC and discussions with the American College of Education, there are huge benefits to being laser focused on the company’s software efforts and not hardware technologies at this time. The Augmented Reality application, heAR Austin, which is an eC Technologies endeavor, will be presented by Ian Mitchell, but not supported by eDoorways.

Mr. Gary Kimmons, Chairman & CEO of the eDoorways Corporation, stated, “We think our customer base will benefit from our increased focus on our software platform vs. hardware technology development. This will allow us to use less resources — and by leveraging the power and flexibility of Drupal, we’d have shorter development cycles. This all will enable us to offer more services in a shorter period of time.”

The company, which is scheduled to release Beta Version 2.5 in the next few weeks, will also offer a “v2.5 Peek” pre-release sometime this weekend during the beginning of the Interactive Festival. “We’re excited to be able to release some early functionality in honor of our participation in SXSW,” commented Ann Collins, eDoorways Social Media Consultant and Solve Project Manager.

The company’s contends that this opportunity at SXSW will help the company gain international exposure at a time where eDoorways is ripe for the attention. Considering the great reception others have experienced at SXSW, this can be the one opportunity that assists eDoorways in realizing the future dominance it strives to achieve in software and web-development.

eDoorways Corp. (EDWY.PK) Announces Launch of New Beta Version 2.0

Tuesday, March 2nd, 2010

eDoorways Corp. announced today that it has released Beta v2.0, implementing major improvements to the platform such as enhanced stability, ergonomic improvements and increased functionality. The growing user base can now have a much more enjoyable experience navigating the company’s advanced integrated search and chat technologies.

“There is no disputing, our technology teams are on the right path,” stated Mr. Gary Kimmons, Chairman & CEO of the eDoorways Corporation. “Now, with version 2.0 behind us, we can give our attention to the upcoming event here in Austin while preparing for the release of beta version 2.5.”

The company believes this release couldn’t have come at a better time as eDoorways targets 20 million online users, which is the result of inking a deal with Ibero American Science and Technology Education Consortium (ISTEC). The sleeker, more robust and efficient platform offers users a plethora of new features and options.

Ann Collins, Project Manager and Social Media Consultant for the company, commented, “Beta release version 2.0 is heavily influenced by the feedback we’ve received from our users since the initial launch of v1.0 in December of 2009. This resulted in an enhanced design strategy that was not part of the original roll-out plan.

“We’ve changed the look and feel quite a bit to create a more streamlined and user friendly interface. You’ll find that the landing page is completely different and is now much more inviting.

“We’ve reduced the application from four columns to three, removing the far right Profile column and making profile information visible through a screen overlay. We’ve also moved the chat panel to the middle. This will allow for all conversations starting from either the ‘Ask’ or ‘Join’ panels to be centralized, making this feature much more fluid.

“Also, when users are invited to a conversation or if there is a new message within an existing conversation, the option to be notified both visually and with user configurable audible sounds, may be selected.

“All Solution Providers, ‘on’ or ‘off’ line, will be returned in the search results and identified by a red indicator. If offline Solution Providers are selected, they will receive an off-line notification to join the conversation; provided they’ve opted to have this email or text message feature.

“Overall, we’ve spent quite a bit of time making sure the underlying engine is stable, highly scalable and robust in anticipation of the new relationship with ISTEC, the upcoming event, the release of v2.5 and the impending marketing plan.”

Those close to the company expect interest in eDoorways’ platform to increase dramatically over the next few weeks as well as the introduction of the company’s first revenues sometime during the next quarter. Although the release of v2.0 was vital to creating the site’s stickiness and strengthening the current user base, the next release will introduce the ability to save chats to “History,” offer special social media functions and provide the ability to share files. eDoorways is well positioned to quickly outshine other service offerings by connecting real people in “real-time” all of the time.

eDoorways Corp. (EDWY.PK) Aims For Multiple Income Streams

Friday, February 26th, 2010

eDoorways Corp., developer of the new business-to-consumer social network website, has a detailed plan, and associated timetable, laying out exactly how the company expects to make money. It is all based on the unique value the company feels it can bring to local and national vendors in the way of highly targeted traffic, consumers who are actively seeking information and, in many cases, are ready to buy. This is in direct contrast to general social networking sites that generate largely unfocused traffic, and rely solely on the sale of advertising space to generate income. For eDoorways, this represents just one of several income streams.

eDoorways’ income strategy is multi-tiered, providing multiple potential income streams, thus giving the company a more secure outlook as each stream proves itself more or less effective.

• Preferential Placement Fees – Businesses pay eDoorways for the right to reserve key words (called Power Keys) specific to their location, type of service, product model, etc. It’s similar to the Google AdWords model, except that the viewers are active consumers looking for a product or solution.
• Prepaid Services/Subscriptions – Businesses with eDoorways storefronts pay the company to subscribe to value-added services, such as targeted marketing capabilities, text message alerts, back office accounting support, etc.
• Advertising Revenue – Businesses pay eDoorways for advertising space on a CPM (cost-per-thousand) exposure basis.
• Private Label Service Leasing – Large corporations, trade groups, professional associations, and others pay eDoorways for a custom version of the eDoorways model, tailored to their own customer service website, allowing them to use the eDoorways engine to let customers better identify local vendors.
• Just-In-Time Training – Businesses pay eDoorways for the use of their proprietary award-winning Smart One training platform, one of the most sophisticated training delivery systems ever developed, for educating customers or perhaps even employees.
• Transaction Fees – Ultimately, eDoorways expects to charge a percentage of each transaction, collecting a small percentage from the vendor upon the successful close of a sale.

These are considered initial eDoorways sources of revenue. There are others, including revenues from vertical marketing. The company has a net income goal, realizing that costs will continue to exceed revenue initially, and is looking to break into positive territory at some point in 2010.
