UFC Fighter Marcus “Maximus” Aurelio Backs up Changing Times Vitamins, Inc. (SGTB.PK) RecoveryX

Last month, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fighter Marcus Aurelio agreed to be a spokes person for RecoveryX, Changing Times Vitamins’ energy/sports drink that contains a clinically tested algae extract which has been shown to reduce swelling/ inflammation and may support a compromised immune system.

Today, Changing Times Vitamins announced that a licensing agreement has been signed with King Features Syndicate, Division of Hearst Corporation, one of the United States’ largest diversified media companies. Through the agreement, Changing Times Vitamins acquired the right to use Popeye(R) and associated characters to promote its line of water drinks.

During the Summer Olympics, Charging Times Vitamins used the Popeye image in a cartoon commercial for its RecoveryX sports/energy drink and experienced great success. The company has further plans to introduce new Popeye Water for children in the near future.

Brian Jensen, spokesperson for CTV, stated, “Popeye is an American icon and is known and loved throughout the world, and we’re thrilled to be using him with our entrance into the children’s sector of the drink market. Changing Times Vitamins, Inc. officially launched their new showcased product RecoveryX at the World’s Strongest Men Super Series on June 21, 2008, at Madison Square Garden, WaMu Theater. The World’s Strongest Men Super Series is run by World Class Events (WCE) which is located in Kista, Sweden. RecoveryX was the Grand Prix Sponsor for the Madison Square Garden event, which included 10 of the world’s strongest men.

While people became familiar with RecoveryX because of their sponsorship, the product is dominating the “recovery field” which is a field known in the athletic world as an antidote for the exhaustion of athletes after competitions and training.
