Fresh Promise Foods, Inc. (FPFI) Locks-In on Rising Organic Consumer Demographic

November 4, 2015

As both adult and childhood obesity rates continue to rise, it’s interesting to observe that alternatively, the nation’s organic food trend is also rising. But it’s more than just weight conscious consumers driving the increase. The industry is also advancing as more consumers seek healthy foods void of pesticides, genetically modified organisms (GMOs) and antibiotics.

According to a 2013 report from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), more than 20,000 pesticides products are being marketed annually in the United States, adversely impacting the health of both consumers and the environment. As more consumers become aware of the health concerns, the demand for organic foods is on the rise, sending the organic food market on a growing spree estimated at 14% CAGR during 2014-2018 (United States Organic Food Market Forecast & Opportunities, 2018).

While organic meat, poultry and fish are expected to pick up pace in the four-year period, organic fruits and vegetables – as they do now – will lead the growth.

These trends are a driving point for Fresh Promise Foods, a brand acquisition company focused on the health and wellness food and beverage industry primarily through its majority-owned subsidiary, Harvest Soul. Harvest Soul is rapidly growing its namesake among the organic and broader health food industry through the development and marketing of innovative USDA organic and GMO-free food and beverages.

Utilizing some of the world’s healthiest ingredients, Harvest Soul creates a nutritionally-dense combination of fiber-rich vegetables and fruits mixed with tasty bits of chewable seeds, nuts and berries. By encouraging chewing during consumption, these revolutionary juices have been shown to jumpstart digestion and promote improved nutrient absorption. All of Harvest Soul’s chewable juices are HPP Fressurized™, preserving “straight from the harvest” freshness and nutrients not possible with heat pasteurization.

Even more applicable to industry demand, the company’s use of USDA organic ingredients ensures that its products aren’t produced using harsh chemicals and fertilizers. Organic farmers and producers avoid many conventional methods and opt for approved natural fertilizers and crop rotation to manage the soil, plants and weeds. To be considered “organic,” a product has to be made up of at least 95% organic ingredients, which controls the conventional ingredients that can be used.

In 2013 alone, the U.S. organic industry grew nearly 13% to reach $40 billion in sales, representing considerable market opportunity for innovative, unique products that fit growing consumer demands.

Since launching its chewable juice products online in December 2014, FPFI has made considerable progress in expanding Harvest Soul’s presence among the health-conscious demographic, exhibiting its products at key industry trade shows and expanding its distribution network.

FPFI has also secured product placement in all 32 Whole Foods Market locations in its five-state southern region and entered into a distribution agreement with San Francisco-based Optimum Sales in order to expand its distribution footprint to include the West Coast and Pacific Northwest. The company most recently launched its e-commerce storefront website on Amazon.com (NASDAQ: AMZN) and introduced a new, highly experienced VP to head the e-commerce channel. Harvest Soul has stated its plans to integrate incremental improvements to the site on an ongoing basis, deepening its online presence and market reach.

From the Farm to the Table: Fresh Promise Foods, Inc. (FPFI) Stands Behind Healthy and Organic-Centered Food Companies

October 29, 2015

With more and more consumers choosing to purchase organically grown food over traditional supermarket options, it’s no wonder new companies continue to sprout with their own organic agenda. One such company, Fresh Promise Foods, Inc., concentrates its efforts in the health and wellness food and beverage industry by aligning with early-stage/pre-revenue companies that have a specialization within the industry. The company then provides support to these companies through finance, sales, supply chain management, and more to help steadily increase their prominence. For example, Fresh Promise Foods backs Harvest Soul, its large subsidiary company that delivers USDA organic and GMO-free labeled food and beverages.

A noticeable increase in USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) Organic labels in supermarkets has come with the rising apprehension of possibly harmful chemicals in foods by consumers. Foods with this label are from farmers who do not use chemicals or factory fertilizers but instead use natural fertilizers and crop rotation on their farms. This label ensures buyers that no artificial additives and preservatives can be found in their foods because these farms are overseen by the department. Fresh Promise Foods supports companies that use this label on their products.

Another major movement in the health and wellness industry is providing buyers with foods without GMOs (genetically modified organism). These organisms have artificial genetic material, meaning they do not occur in nature and therefore might prove unstable. Furthermore, they can contaminate non-GMO crops through cross pollination with undesirable results. Fresh Promise Foods also supports companies that have the Non-GMO Project Verified label which is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to informing consumers of GMO foods and related news.

The company continues its values of providing safe and healthy food options for families to enjoy. It believes in the growth of the natural foods industry and aims to invest in companies with the same vision.

Fresh Promise Foods, Inc. (FPFI) Links Arms with World’s Largest Internet Retailer to Drive Harvest Soul Expansion

October 23, 2015

When it comes to ecommerce, there are few companies that can compete with Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN). Since its founding in 1994, the retail giant has amassed more than 244 million active users. In 2014, Amazon’s net sales were just shy of $89 billion, driven by the sale of roughly two billion products from its industry-leading marketplace. For up-and-coming firms in search of an established channel through which to reach target consumers, Amazon represents a powerful, ready-made tool for rapidly increasing sales and establishing a larger foothold in competitive markets.

Earlier this month, Fresh Promise Foods, Inc. took a significant step toward leveraging the reach of the world’s premier ecommerce site by launching its new Harvest Soul storefront. In addition to providing access to Amazon’s considerable user base, this new storefront is expected to better position the company to efficiently satisfy its customers’ rapidly evolving preferences while dramatically increasing brand awareness.

“Establishing a new channel for Harvest Soul allows us to reinvent our online environment and create a more user-friendly, reliable experience through the Amazon.com brand,” Kevin P. Quirk, president of Harvest Soul, stated in a news release.

Harvest Soul products – including both its organic, GMO-free blended juice and chewable juice lines – are already available through the newly-updated www.HarvestSoul.com, and many of the company’s most popular offerings are carried in Whole Foods Market (NASDAQ: WFM) locations across the country. Through its presence in these channels, FPFI is in a favorable strategic position to capitalize on the rapid growth of the $39 billion domestic organic products market, which is up approximately 11 percent from last year, according to the Organic Trade Association.

“Online retail – especially the Amazon.com platform family – is a powerful proving ground for products with limited brick-and-mortar distribution,” stated Michael Jenness, vice president of ecommerce with Harvest Soul. “New products or niche flavors find their audience on the ‘virtual aisle’ while those able to gain traction use their success to leverage physical distribution space.”

Following Coca-Cola’s (NYSE: KO) investment in organic juice producer Suja earlier this year, the investment potential of innovative beverage companies is at an all-time high. The resulting market potential of Harvest Soul’s line of fiber-rich blended juices makes FPFI an intriguing investment opportunity moving forward. Look for FPFI to benefit from its expanded presence in the ecommerce space while continuing to promote sustainable financial growth in the months to come.

Fresh Promise Foods, Inc. (FPFI) Introduces New Amazon.com Storefront for Harvest Soul

October 15, 2015

A couple hours after the opening bell today, Harvest Soul Inc. announced its new e-commerce storefront website on the world’s largest internet retailer Amazon.com (NASDAQ: AMZN). The company also told investors that Michael Jenness will be the new Vice President of its Ecommerce Channel. It was notated that the launch of the Harvest Soul brand and products, along with an expanded team, marks an important first step toward Harvest Soul’s ambitious plans for multi-channel expansion.

“Establishing a new channel for Harvest Soul allows us to reinvent our online environment and create a more user-friendly, reliable experience through the Amazon.com brand,” stated Kevin P. Quirk, President, Harvest Soul. “With the hiring of Michael and the new e-commerce opportunity, we are in a better position to efficiently satisfy our consumers constantly evolving preferences — whenever, wherever — in the same way we are earning their loyal support at retail.”

As one of the most trusted brands in the world with an incredible amount of daily online traffic, Amazon is a well-recognized master of getting customers to come back and buy more product. In fact, two-thirds of Amazon’s orders come from repeat customers. As part of its growth strategy, Harvest Soul will leverage the Amazon platform to identify new niches and categories to enter which can be profitable.

As VP of Harvest Soul’s Ecommerce Channel, Jenness will contribute his expertise and familiarity with Amazon.com and the broader e-commerce space to fuel corporate growth.

“I have worked in ecommerce for over a decade and a half with the world’s largest brands to the smallest start-up, and recognize that Harvest Soul has numerous attributes that will resonate with online retailers including pure-play giant Amazon.com to the hybrid e-tailers in the marketplace with click&collect programs. This also holds true with our consumers who are looking for our products and can now have them from the most reliable brand in the e-commerce business, Amazon.com,” said Jenness. “Online retail — especially the Amazon.com platform family — is a powerful proving ground for products with limited brick-and-mortar distribution. New products or niche flavors find their audience on the ‘virtual aisle’ while those able to gain traction use their success to leverage physical distribution space. The latter strategy has proven particularly effective for small, emerging manufacturers that don’t yet have influence or full-fledged brick-and-mortar retailer engagement models. I look forward to providing Harvest Soul with the traction and position it needs to excel online.”

Harvest Soul plans to integrate incremental improvements to the site on an ongoing basis. With the launch of the new HarvestSoul.com, Harvest Soul will assume full control over its online operations, including the guest contact center.

Fresh Promise Foods, Inc. (FPFI) Brand Design, Process and Sourcing All Speak Directly to the Organic Food Consumer

October 7, 2015

A report out by TechSci Research in April indicates that the U.S. organic food market is on track to break the $45 billion mark this year, on the strength of rising per capita spending, increased health awareness among consumers, and a rapidly spreading culture that is acutely aware of the tremendous benefits that eating a chemical-free, organic diet can produce. At the same time, growing retail availability of organic products, once limited to traditional sources, has been greatly improved, with over 20,000 natural food stores across the country, and three out of four grocery stores now carrying at least a limited selection of organic options. And the same is true across the pond, where, according to the Soil Association’s 2015 report on the UK organic market, sales of organic products saw four percent growth last year, even as food prices declined by 1.9 percent, and food spending also declined by 1.1 percent.

Little surprise that western markets are rapidly gravitating away from chemical farming products either, with CDC estimates from two years back alone showing some 1.1 billion pounds of pesticides and active ingredients are being used annually. Globally the organic market in 2013 was already at $72 billion and if the official FiBL-IFOAM data and TechSci are right, the U.S. organic market has seen a 41.5 percent jump in just the last two years. Such growth seems well within reason at any rate, especially given a recent survey report by leading consumer products and services review publication, Consumer Reports, showing that 84 percent of Americans now routinely purchase organic food.

The explosive growth of the organic space however has produced two glaringly obvious issues. On the one hand, despite some 106 million plus acres being dedicated to organic as of the end of 2013 worldwide, supply shortages continue to be one of the greatest challenges facing the industry. On the other hand, given that it is still a largely nascent market, the product mix has not evolved sufficiently, and along the lines envisioned by die-hard, early adopting organic consumers. Hence the growing significance of up-and-comer sector innovators such as health and wellness solutions developer, Fresh Promise Foods, Inc. (OTC: FPFI), whose wholly-owned Harvest Soul subsidiary continues to deliver cutting-edge USDA Certified Organic, Non-GMO Project Verified beverage and food products which speak directly to soul of this market’s most ardent consumers.

The Harvest Soul brand has quickly risen to prominence among diehard health-conscious consumers, thanks to its having addressed the core problem in the juicing world head-on, brilliantly resolving the lack of fiber and proteins taken out during juice pressing via a product line that is the sector’s first real USDA Certified Organic chewable juice. Harvest Soul Chewable Juices are 12 ounce juices with a mega concentrated blend of veggies and fruits that are then mixed with berries, nuts and seeds at just the right size needed to encourage chewing. Chewing actively triggers the digestion process and releases enzymes that enhance nutrient absorption, and these beverages are perfect as a snack or as an entire meal. The product line speaks to consumer demand for much-needed fiber to be put back into juice, as well as demand that such product contain only 100 percent organic, non-GMO blends of nutritious leafy greens and fruits or vegetables that are delicious, but which are also rich in anti-oxidants.

Already successful in the South Region through Whole Foods Markets with the company’s Green Fusion superfood blend using 21 vegetables and fruits, as well as its Tropical Fusion energizing blend of 15 fruits and veggies, FPFI expanded to the naturally receptive West Coast and Pacific Northwest markets back in June, simultaneously introducing two new products in the lineup, Berry Banana Fusion and Veggie Beet Fusion. A major driver of consumer receptivity to the brand, beyond having so perfectly addressed unmet demands in the organic juice space, has been how the company’s proprietary High Pressure Processing (HPP) solution captures the farm-fresh flavor, brilliant colors and natural enzymes, minerals, and vitamins contained in the product’s ingredients. The company has trademarked HPP Fressurized™ to indicate to consumers that this ingenious, environmentally-friendly alternative to conventional heat pasteurization has been used in the manufacture of the product they are consuming. This extremely high pressure technique destroys unhealthy bacteria and other microorganisms, while drastically improving the overall healthiness and content of the final product, allowing the high nutrient content of the product’s organic sources to reach the consumer as never before.

Georgia-based FPFI proudly goes out of its way to source from locally-grown produce and other ingredients, helping to grow the local organic production industry, and the company even supports the Georgia Grown economic development program, designed to stimulate and encourage the development of the state’s agribusiness sector. This is the portrait of a company striking at the heart of the organic food industry’s two biggest hurdles, economies of scale on the agribusiness side, and product innovation on the retail end. Harvest Soul has even come out with a new organic, non-GMO blended juice line, Harvest Soul Organic Blended Juices, which, while still rich in fiber, will appeal more directly to the less die-hard organic consumers.

Fresh Promise Foods, Inc. (FPFI) Chewable Juice Products Highlighted among Most Intriguing at Natural Products Expo East

September 30, 2015

Fresh Promise Foods widened its Harvest Soul Organic Chewable Juice line earlier this month when it unveiled two new flavors at the 2015 Natural Products Expo East, and the reception to this point has been reportedly positive. Despite the rapidly evolving landscape of the natural beverage industry, FPFI is firmly positioned to benefit from the marketability of its innovative product line.

“[Juice companies] are starting to evolve into having to have something else be a value add to their product or point of differentiation,” John Craven, chief executive officer of BevNET, stated in a video round up following the expo. “We have some that are adding probiotics and there are a couple of chewable ones… So far, I like what I see, and the response is definitely pretty positive.”

In recent years, innovative juice products have reinvigorated the market and spurred tremendous growth. According to a report by the LA Times, the cold-pressed juice segment, which features juices extracted without the use of heat, is currently valued at $100 million. The industry has also, traditionally, maintained a relatively low barrier of entry, with more than two-thirds of the juice market attributed to independent brands. However, all indications point to a shift away from this trend in the coming years, as larger beverage companies look to capitalize on the popularity of these healthy soft drink alternatives by establishing larger footholds in the market.

The first step toward this anticipated shift took place earlier this year, when cold-pressed juice producer Suja Life LLC announced a minority investment deal with The Coca-Cola Company (NYSE: KO). Following this $90 million investment, the global beverage powerhouse will begin distributing Suja products through its expansive distribution network, effectively limiting the ability of startups and independent beverage companies in the cold-pressed juice segment to gain traction on a nationwide basis.

FPFI remains in a favorable position to promote growth in the coming months by leaning on the unique benefits of the Harvest Soul Organic Chewable Juice product line – including the use of blended, chewable juices and the addition of healthy probiotics. In fact, the Suja deal could have a positive impact on FPFI’s market potential moving forward.

“That valuation [of Suja] is something that will probably spur additional investment in beverage companies,” continued Craven.

Fresh Promise Foods, Inc. (FPFI) Subsidiary Announces New Blended Juice Line and Largest Purchase Order to Date

September 24, 2015

Harvest Soul, a wholly owned subsidiary of Fresh Promise Foods, Inc. (OTC: FPFI), today issued a press release to announce it has launched new organic GMO-free Harvest Soul Blended Juices, a line of 4 blended fruit and vegetable juices. The company also reported it has received the largest purchase order to date.

Harvest Soul Organic Blended Juices are a delicious line of fiber-rich blended juices chock-full of superfood vegetables and fruits, like spinach, pineapple, blueberries, kale and celery. Because this line of juices is never pressed, beneficial fiber is retained making these functional and organic juices supportive of a healthy lifestyle.

In the news release, Harvest Soul pointed out that research has also shown consumers who mostly rely on pressed juices to supply their daily nutrition miss out on the nutritive benefits that come from natural fiber and protein that is lost during the juicing process. Also, many cold-pressed juices contain a fair amount of sugar which, when consumed without fiber, can lead to a myriad of unhealthy results.

“We feel our Harvest Soul Organic Blended Juice line-up offers consumers a level of variety across our brand portfolio,” stated Kevin P. Quirk, Fresh Promise Foods CEO and Harvest Soul president. “We created this product line to co-exist with our Harvest Soul Chewable Juices, because while it retains high fiber content and is nutrient dense like the chewable line, the blended line will have broader appeal. By offering juices without the added seeds, nuts and berries at very competitive price-point, our new blended line will entice new consumers and open up new channels. This has clearly been demonstrated with a recent purchase order that surpasses any others we’ve received to date,” continued Quirk.

Harvest Soul Organic Blended Juices are being sold in 12 ounce bottles. All four flavors, Island Fruit, Sweet Green, Celery Beet and Sunrise Berry, are already available at Whole Foods Market locations and online at www.harvestsoul.com

Fresh Promise Foods, Inc.’s (FPFI) Harvest Soul Debuts New Chewable Juice Flavors at Leading Organic Expo

September 17, 2015

As part of the expansion of its Organic Chewable Juice line, Fresh Promise Foods subsidiary Harvest Soul is exhibiting two new flavors at the Natural Products Expo East 2015 in Baltimore, Maryland, September 17-19, 2015. Berry Banana Fusion and Veggie Beet Fusion are making their debut at the expo, along with original flavors Green Fusion and Tropical Fusion.

Natural Products Expo East is the East Coast’s largest natural, organic and healthy products event, expected to reach record numbers this year, with more than 22,000 attendees and more than 1,800 exhibitors. The event provides Harvest Soul considerable brand and product exposure.

“We’re excited to be at Expo East for the first time and launch our two new chewable juice flavors,” Kevin P. Quirk, Fresh Promise Foods CEO and Harvest Soul president stated in the news release. “We believe kids and adults of all ages will love the taste of both juices and the ingredients have incredible health benefits. One example is beet, which boosts stamina, lowers blood pressure and has anti-cancer properties. I’m also extremely proud that our juices are Non-GMO Project verified, a symbol that tells our consumers that Harvest Soul is committed to only using clean and pure ingredients in our juices.”

Harvest Soul Organic Chewable Juices are a blend of at least 15 fruits and vegetables, along with bits of seeds, nuts and berries to create a flavorful, fiber and protein-packed dose of nutrition. Each Harvest Soul juice is concentrate-free and without added flavors or sugar. Harvest Soul Organic Chewable Juices are sold in 12 ounce bottles. All four flavors, including Berry Banana Fusion, Green Fusion, Tropical Fusion and Veggie Beet Fusion, are available at Whole Foods Market locations and online at www.harvestsoul.com.

What makes Harvest Soul Organic Chewable Juice revolutionary to the juice category is that it promotes chewing, which jump starts digestion. Chewing helps the body break down foods, unlocking beneficial nutrients by releasing enzymes that promote better nutrient absorption. Chewing also helps regulate caloric intake, as it takes more time than drinking, making for a more satisfying experience.

Research has also shown that consumers that predominately rely on fruit and vegetable juices to supply their daily nutrition miss out on the health benefits that come from chewing, as well as forfeit the natural fiber and protein wasted during the juicing process. Harvest Soul Chewable Juices are blended, not pressed, so beneficial fiber is retained.

Fresh Promise Foods, Inc. (FPFI) CEO Featured in Exclusive QualityStocks Interview

September 16, 2015

GIGL

QualityStocks today announces the availability of a new audio interview with Kevin Quirk, CEO of Georgia-based health and wellness company Fresh Promise Foods, Inc. (OTC: FPFI), and president of wholly owned subsidiary Harvest Soul. The interview can be heard at www.QualityStocks.net/interview-fpfi.php.

FPFI initially began as a holding company in the organic consumer product space seeking to acquire and build companies centered on natural, healthy products. After exploring various options, management fine-tuned its strategy to a more direct and immediately advantageous approach by launching its own subsidiary, Harvest Soul.

“So rather than going out to find the perfect company, we decided to build the perfect company, and we built Harvest Soul,” says Quirk.

He then discusses the company’s product line, which includes currently available Harvest Soul Chewable Juices, as well as several other products that are ready for launch. As confirmation of growing demand and market value of organic, non-GMO and healthy juice products, Quirk points to Coca-Cola’s recent $90 million purchase of a minority stake in Suja Juice, a relatively young U.S. organic juice company.

“We feel [Harvest Soul] is at the stage that Suja was a couple years ago, and we have this litany of products that are ready to go — that we think is going to be a ballistic missile… thus making other companies look at us [being in] a place that they would love to get involved with, whether it be a direct equity investment into Harvest Soul or participate in the growth by buying our stock,” Quirk states.

After recapping Harvest Soul’s Organic Chewable Juices products, which blend at least 15 fruits and vegetables with bits of seeds, nuts and berries for a concentrate-free, no sugar added nutritious drink that promotes healthy digestion, Quirk offers insight into FPFI’s management team.

As a 20-year veteran in the consumer product industry, Quirk has extensive experience in various managerial roles at some of the beverage industry’s biggest brands — including Coca-Cola and Anheuser Busch — where he developed skills pertinent to FPFI’s business model. Quirk is supported by a team of highly experienced leadership professionals that contribute key aspects to the company’s vision.

Quirk next describes FPFI’s 2015 achievements, which include launching a new company and new category in chewable juices, the placement of its Organic Chewable Juices line in Whole Foods, and several other milestones.

Wrapping up the interview, Quirk explains the company’s plans for the remainder of the year and into 2016 as it expects to benefit from the successful execution of product launches, branding, packaging and distribution.

“We just want to make sure that we seed our products over the next four months so that when we move on to 2016 we have a really strong base to start growing and really kind of doing what our expertise is — and that’s performance management and moving the needle,” says Quirk.

Looking ahead, he says investors should watch for FPFI to focus on increasing the value of the company and strengthening both FPFI and Harvest Soul brands.

Fresh Promise Foods, Inc. (FPFI) is “One to Watch”

September 10, 2015

GIGL

Fresh Promise Foods is a consumer products and marketing company operating in the high-margin multi-billion dollar health and wellness food and beverage sectors. The company sets itself apart from the competition by marrying innovative technology and product development with perceptive marketing and sales service strategy.

Through wholly-owned subsidiary Harvest Soul, Inc., FPFI produces the world’s first USDA organic, Non-GMO Project verified chewable juice products. Utilizing some of the world’s healthiest ingredients, the company creates a nutritionally-dense combination of fiber-rich vegetables and fruits mixed with tasty bits of chewable seeds, nuts and berries. By encouraging chewing during consumption, these revolutionary juices have been shown to jumpstart digestion and promote improved nutrient absorption.

Since launching its chewable juice products online in December 2014, the company has made considerable progress in expanding upon its market presence. As of its latest update, FPFI had secured placement in all 32 Whole Foods Market locations in its five-state southern region and entered into a distribution agreement with San Francisco-based Optimum Sales in order to expand its distribution footprint to include the West Coast and Pacific Northwest.

Fresh Promise Foods, Inc. (FPFI) Completes Consolidated Debt Initiative

September 9, 2015

GIGL

Last year, Harvest Soul, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fresh Promise Foods, Inc. (OTC: FPFI), made its mark on the booming organic foods industry through the release of an innovative line of chewable juice products. Within two months, the company had secured placement in all 32 Whole Foods Market (NASDAQ: WFM) locations in its five-state southern region, becoming the first USDA organic chewable juices available in the popular retail chain. Earlier this week, FPFI announced a consolidated debt initiative that’s expected to help it capitalize on the company’s strategic advantage and provide a platform upon which to promote positive and predictive growth.

“We have been working hard on this initiative and have found the right partners who truly understand what we are trying to achieve and who share our vision,” Scott Martin, vice president and head of investor relationships for FPFI, stated in a news release. “[W]e have found other funding sources that will provide us with the financial backing necessary, at a lower cost of capital, to execute against our business plan.”

As a revenue-producing brand with increasingly high levels of consumer acceptance, Harvest Soul is expected to play a key role in FPFI’s ongoing efforts to maximize shareholder value. In addition to providing the company with a foothold in the organic products industry, which grew by more than 11 percent last year, accounting for more than $39 billion in total sales, FPFI’s subsidiary is expected to become a very attractive acquisition target as it continues to gain market share.

In August, investors were given a preview of the potential of this aggressive growth strategy when The Coca-Cola Company (NYSE: KO) announced its entry into the organic juice niche through the acquisition of a minority stake in Suja Life LLC for roughly $90 million. The move was seen as an effort to counteract slowing soda sales resulting from the growing shift in consumer preference toward healthier food and beverage options. Over the next 16 months, FPFI plans to continue expanding the Harvest Soul family of brands into new markets and channels with the goal of replicating this success.
