Ongoing Operations Orders Second IceWEB, Inc. (IWEB) Unified Data Storage System

IceWEB has received a purchase order from Ongoing Operations for an additional high-performance IceWEB 7000, the company’s highly redundant and scalable unified data storage system.

This order represents the cloud storage provider’s second IceWEB 7000 purchase.

“For IceWEB to be ‘the choice’ of such a highly respected company like Ongoing Operations is very encouraging. Winning this business after being put through an arduous bidding and selection process against the rest of the field is particularly important for us,” Rob Howe, CEO of IceWEB, stated in the press release. “I want to reiterate, this is a repeat sale of hardware, software and services. That is testament that our sales efforts are gaining all-important traction. We expect many more to come.”

The IceWEB 7000 system provides:

The company reported sharp demand increases from government customers for storage, network and security solutions along with a solid rise in demand for enterprise software. The company’s fourth quarter and fiscal year ends on September 30.

IceWeb shares closed Monday at 14 cents on volume of over 64,000, about half the three month daily average. The shares have traded between 12 cents and 65 cents over the past 52 weeks. IceWeb has a market value of $3.19 million.

IceWEB Inc. (IWEB.OB) Joins the Green Initiative with Teaming agreement with Premier Technical Services Corp.

IceWEB Inc. (OTCBB: IWEB) manufactures and markets storage solutions and online application services. The company today announced it has inked a formal teaming agreement with Premier Technical Services Corp., an IT and engineering firm, awarding IceWEB as the subcontractor for development and implementation of a LEED-certified green data center in Virginia.

The new energy efficient, large-scale data center is a part of Premier’s planned $16.5 million data center and office complex. IceWEb will team with Premier to design, develop and deploy strategies for integrated power protection, storage and server architecture, and security and networking solutions for the new center.

IceWeb, Inc. (IWEB.OB) Receives Refinance Commitment Letter

IceWEB, Inc. (OTCBB:IWEB) announced today that the company received a commitment letter from Wells Fargo Business Credit. The company is looking to refinance its current accounts receivable to move towards more favorable terms. IceWeb’s current accounts receivable has grown and the line of credit that is being pursued is anticipated to also increase. The loan is expected to close in the next 45 days.

“This refinancing represents a critical step forward for IceWEB in strengthening our balance sheet and improving our monthly cash flow. Moreover, we anticipate that it will represent savings of approximately $700,000 in interest expense over the course of the next 12 months, while also providing essential capital to fund several large upcoming projects in our pipeline.”
