Intelligentias, Inc. (ITLI.OB) Receives Large Order from a Worldwide Communications Leader

Tuesday, July 1st, 2008

A global leader within communications service providers recently signed a multi-year data retention software order with Intelligentias, Inc. (OTCBB: ITLI). Intelligentias will be the sole provider of data retention and security services for this communications service provider over the next several years. It has been estimated that this order alone will result in $24 million in revenues for Intelligentias during the full term of the project. More specific details of the order will be released in the future at the request of the customer.

Intelligentias was the first data retention solutions vendor. Today, the company provides other companies with the only purpose-built solution on the market, the Intelligentias Retentia® Data Retention Suite. The Retentia® Data Retention solution features great scalability based upon a proprietary and purpose-built file system, compression for 50% lower storage requirements, full encryption for maximum security, and the ability to rapidly extract records from massive data repositories.

Intelligentias’ system was originally created specifically for a telecommunications service provider, but over the years the company constructed it to be a file system instead of a relational database, which is operational in telcos, ISP’s, enterprises, and government agencies worldwide. The system features the most scalable, cost-effective and precise solutions for providers anywhere in the world.

“We are pleased to announce the signing of our largest order to date,” stated Ian Rice, CEO of Intelligentias. “Our products will provide our customer with the only solution on the market capable of handling their challenging environment. Our customer is both one of the world’s largest communications service providers and a very large enterprise, requiring communications data retention solutions, enterprise compliance and security services.”

Intelligentias, Inc. is a publicly-traded U.S. corporation with headquarters in Redwood, California, and additional offices in Rome and London. The company began developing solutions for the demanding environment of large communications service providers in 1991. Their services involve marketing solutions that can capture, index, encrypt, and store recurring records far more efficiently and affordably than a database can.

Intelligentias, Inc. (ITLI.OB) Subsidiary Retentia is Answering the Call for Secure Data Retention Solutions

Monday, June 9th, 2008

Retentia, the wholly owned subsidiary of Intelligentias Incorporated, is a high-tech data retention and management company operating globally. Retentia’s products provide data capturing, archiving, and tracing solutions for telephone companies and ISPs that are solving the needs of law enforcement agencies to track, investigate and prosecute Internet terrorists. Several countries have already passed legislation mandating the retention of all telephone and Internet data and, with the continued threat of terrorism, these laws are becoming commonplace around the world.

The data retention systems that Retentia provides to its clients have the ability to keep records of each phone call that is sent and received, as well as every website that is visited by every user. These records are then retained for a minimum of six months and a maximum of two years. The real kicker is that Retentia is able to provide these services at a significantly lower cost than competitors – in many cases as much as 50% less. These large savings are possible because Retentia’s Data Retention Suite is built on their own proprietary file system-based technology, and not an expensive database technology like the competition.

Retentia’s Data Retention Suite is currently being used by companies such as Telecom Italia, FastWeb, 3 Mobile Media, Ferrovie Dello Stato and others. The suites are easily implemented into a company’s existing system and can help to catch terrorists and criminals in the act in only a few month’s time. Customers are enjoying the real-time data analysis capabilities the system offers as opposed to the tradition waiting period associated with data retrieval by competitors. When there is a breach in company security, every second saved is vital to the safety and security of equipment, technology and employees, so why chance it with traditional data retention?

Intelligentias Inc. (ITLI.OB) Partnering With Industry Leaders in the Technology Equipment and Software Fields

Thursday, June 5th, 2008

Intelligentias Incorporated is a data retention and management company that provides data capture, archiving, and tracing solutions for telephone companies, ISP’s, enterprises, and law enforcement agencies all over the world. Intelligentias has a long history of developing solutions for the demanding environment of large communications service providers dating back to 1991. Since their founding, Intelligentias has been evolving in many ways to become a leader in the field, and has even become a pioneer in using data retention in criminal investigations.

The bulk of Intelligentias business comes from the United States, Europe, Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East because of the increasing need for data retention to fight crime and terrorism. One of the main reasons for the success of Intelligentias is the strong network of partner companies it has available at its disposal. Intelligentias has partnered with some of the largest technology equipment vendors, software firms, and consultancies in the world. These partner companies are broken down into two categories: technology partners and system integration partners.

Technology partners of Intelligentias include industry giants such as BAE Systems, Cisco and Oracle. They also include smaller companies that are very reputable in their fields, such as Red Hat Software, SS8, Sunrise Telecom, MicroStrategy and RESI Multimedia Solutions. System Integration partners include several of the largest electronic companies worldwide, including IBM, Nokia, Siemens, Sony Ericsson, Nortel, Reksoft, Unisys, Accenture and Alcatel-Lucent. Forming these partnerships is mutually beneficial for both parties involved because it allows for larger opportunities at lower markups. More importantly, these partnerships are advantageous for the customers of Intelligentias who are receiving the best services, programming and technology.

Retentia is a leading data retention and management company that provides data capture, archiving, and tracing solutions for telephone companies, ISP’s, enterprises, and law enforcement agencies all over the world. After the events of September 11th and other subsequent terrorist attacks that have been planned and executed around the globe, there is a stronger need than ever for companies to have the ability to manage telephone and Internet surfing records.

Retentia’s Data Retention Suite is currently being used by businesses around the world by companies such as Telecom Italia, FastWeb, 3 Mobile Media, Ferrovie Dello Stato and others. The suites are easily implemented into a company’s existing system and can help catch terrorists and criminals in the act in only a few months time. Their products cost less than 50% of comparable systems that competitors offer, and they offer real time data analysis which the competition does not promise.

In addition to the ease with which a system can be set up, maintenance costs are also very low. Retentia’s DRS makes use of a proprietary technology that uses less storage space and has faster response times than those of a relational data base management system. The unique architecture of their suite allows for the use of even low-end servers, which can save the company thousands in unnecessary overhead charges.

Intelligentias, Inc. (ITLI.OB) – On the Cutting-Edge of Data Retention

Wednesday, May 28th, 2008

Intelligentias, Inc. is a leading authority in the field of scalable data-capturing solutions. The company’s Retentia® Data Retention Suite provides telecommunications companies, Internet service providers, and government agencies with the ability to reduce the burden of obtaining and storing customer data records (CDRs) by a staggering margin. According to Intelligentias, the system enables clients to search 3.5 trillion CDRs in under five minutes.

This extraordinary feat is made possible by a revolutionary file-indexing system that, through the use of proprietary compression techniques, effectively reduces data storage requirements by 85 percent. A traditional database server facilitates the maintenance of a mere 250 million CDRs, whereas a single server running the Retentia® Data Retention Suite can easily manage 3 billion. Advanced encryption methods ensure that all data is kept highly secure and safe from misuse.

CEO Ian Rice sums up his company’s product in this way: “Retentia captures, indexes, encrypts, and compresses trillions of customer data records (CDRs) and Internet Protocol detail records (IPDRs) in near real-time from virtually any network element — servers, switches, routers, applications and logs. And our Web interface helps pull other disparate data records together seamlessly for law enforcement — essentially enabling a Google-like platform for data forensics.”

In a time of increased awareness concerning both domestic crime and global terrorism, Intelligentias recognizes the need for law enforcement agencies to have instant and direct access to necessary information. The Retentia® system efficiently and cost-effectively fulfills this need, and in that way, Intelligentias is trying to make the world a better place.

Intelligentias Inc.’s (ITLI.OB) Massive Volume Data System is a Cut above Competition

Thursday, May 8th, 2008

Intelligentias Inc. (OTCBB: ITLI) has created a massive volume data indexing system with the ability to quickly, securely and efficiently retain large volumes of Customer Data Records (CDR) and Internet Protocol Data Records (IPDR). While Intelligentias’ competition relies on relational databases, the company’s approach to forensic data retention is the Retintia DRS File System, a scalable file indexing system within its Retentia Data Retention Suite (DRS). The system has the capacity to retain records of phone calls, e-mails, Web site visits, text messages, financial transactions and more.

Unlike relational databases, the Retentia DRS File System uses a vertical approach to data; the horizontal approach covers a wide variety of information, but doesn’t have the depth of a vertical approach. The Retentia DRS File System manages three billion CDRs and IPDRs per day, on one PC server. On the other hand, relational databases can only manage up to 250 million CDRs and IPDRSs per day and require an entire workstation to maintain performance.

Intelligentias’ file system can index metadata from multiple sources, such as network switches, servers and logs; can reconcile metadata formats for accurate analysis; can reduce storage by 85 percent through proprietary compression methods; offers proprietary encryption for security; logs, indexes and traces all access; and runs on any UNIX-based machine from PCs with dual CPUs to workstations.

Intelligentias, Inc. (ITLI.OB) – A Triple Play in the Making

Friday, April 11th, 2008

Every once in a while, a new technology is born that we coin as being “disruptive.” Maybe it’s because it’s so new, or maybe because – as it becomes widely adopted – it displaces and disrupts the systems that were originally in place, creating a sort of “mad scramble”, and then a societal change to adapt to it. Consider the Compact Disc for example. In a very short time, the turntable and vinyl records were tossed aside for this new technology. Virtually tens of millions of “records” stopped being played, and CD’s were blaring. The entire music industry was transformed in what can only be described as a “heartbeat”.

But then there is the “lone disrupter”. This is a technology, or a company, that doesn’t disrupt or destroy the systems in place before it. In fact, it is often a brand new technology to solve a new form of need. Every so often, the “lone disrupter” establishes a brand new category of business. This is what we’re seeing at Intelligentias.

Intelligentias, Inc. (trading under the symbol ITLI) is a global data intelligence company. With a worldwide network of technology and resale partners, Intelligentias provides homeland security products to law enforcement agencies, government agencies, telecommunications companies and ISPs in order to prevent terrorism, cyber-crime and child exploitation. Although there have been other agencies and companies providing services to law enforcement throughout the world, none of them have been as specific as Intelligentias is in meeting the technological demands of a post 9/11 world. In fact, in trying to compare competitors in their sector, the analyst encounters a problem; there is no direct competitor.

Management at Intelligentias looked at the problems of terror, crime, cyber crime, etc., and decided that a three-pronged technological attack was the most promising. Starting with their data retention software “Retentia,” ITLI is now leading the world in data retention capabilities. Internet Service Providers and telecom providers around the world are being required to store anywhere from 6 months to 2 years worth of customer transactions, including phone calls, web sites surfed, log in times, IP addresses, mobile devices used, etc. This is generating trillions of bits of data that was completely unmanageable before Intelligentias solutions became available. Now companies can sort it, store it and retrieve it in mere moments, for far less money than was possible just a couple of years ago.

Once they had a solution to storing the sheer mass of information that was being generated each day, they were quick to focus on the next aspect of combating global terror; the actual lawful interception of suspected criminal communication. Their portfolio company, Interceptia, Inc., operates in Europe and the Middle East as Datakom GmbH and as Interceptia in other parts of the world. Interceptia focuses on legal interception of telecommunications by law enforcement agencies and intelligence services. Finally, to round out the opportunity, Intelligentias’ other portfolio company, Investigatia, will be launched later this year and will function as an investigation company. Investigatia is expected to focus on fraud, identity theft, identity authentication and verification.

This is a “lone disrupter” triple play. Before 9/11, there was no such requirement out of Europe and parts of Asia to store all these telecom and ISP records. Before the bombings in Spain and London, no one needed to implement a company based on the interception of criminal communications. And now, in a post 9/11 world, the need to establish confident identification, verification, and identity theft measures is a necessary evil of a modern world.

Intelligentias seeks to become the primary provider of all three services to telecoms, ISP’s, and legal authorities throughout the world. Their three-pronged approach is unique, having no equal in the technological sense. With a nuclear world, focused on energy, food, money and religion, Intelligentias provides the true services that allow Homeland Defense to do its job.

Intelligentias, Inc. (ITLI.OB) – In a Technology Laden World, Homeland Security isn’t Simply a Fence

Thursday, April 10th, 2008

When the average person is queried about homeland security, he or she generally thinks of fences, borders, coast guard forces, airplanes, satellites, and a host of other tangible defenses. Yet in this day and age, the bulk of the “heavy lifting” is on the technological side of the equation. Nowhere is this more apparent than in the field of data retention.

When the average person is asked about data retention, he will often consider it to be the storage of business transactions. Sales data, customer lists, credit card numbers, addresses and the like come to mind. But for the law enforcement professional, and the homeland security agent, data retention is a completely different animal. After the European Union took the lead in demanding that Telecom, and ISP data information companies store their records under the “2006 Data Retention Initiative”, it became clear that a viable solution to storing all that data needed to come to the forefront.

Although it was simple to see the logic in having all that data so that law enforcement could use it to track down terrorists, child pornographers and the like, there was no simple solution available to efficiently complete the task. Service providers were grumbling aloud at the expenses involved in storing all those terabytes of information, and struggling over how to categorize it and label it effectively. It was one expense to store it all, and yet another to try and find what one was looking for.

When looking into the possibility of terrorist activity, phone records, conversations, web sites visited and a host of other “tracks” need investigation. So, where can they find these electronic tracks? Intelligentias, Inc. (trading under the symbol ITLI.OB) is a global data intelligence company. With a worldwide network of technology and resale partners, Intelligentias provides homeland security products to law enforcement agencies, government agencies, telecommunications companies and ISPs in order to prevent terrorism, cyber-crime and child exploitation. Their portfolio company, Retentia, Inc., provides data retention, tracking and forensics software to some of the largest organizations in the world.

So what type of data retention can one expect Retentia’s solutions to provide? They can provide the proper authorities with such useful information as who you talk on the phone, where you are when you place a call, and what websites you visit. Their software has the ability to capture and store billions of telephone and web surfing records every day, allowing authorities find a single record among trillions of phone and web surfing records in a matter of minutes.

For an Internet Service Provider, for instance, Intelligentias software will store and categorize: e-mails sent and received, Instant Messages sent and received, websites visited, The date, time and duration of messaging, messaging types, device identity, location of mobile equipment, traffic analysis, IP address assigned, logon/logoff time and date, from, to, CC e-mail addresses, authentication user name, dial-up, CLI number assigned, ADSL endpoint, Mac address (if available) proxy server logs, and social connectedness (who’s messaging whom).

Not only will Retentia do all this, it will do it with an architecture and file system that allows for a 50-percent savings over traditional data storage. Law enforcement agencies and officials appreciate the usefulness, while ISP’s and telecoms appreciate the cost value. As global terrorism and threats from criminal activity increase, demand for ITLI’s products and services can virtually do nothing but increase, and that is what intelligent investors want to see; strong demand for a great product that could ultimately save lives. It doesn’t get much better than that.

Intelligentias, Inc. (ITLI.OB) Offers Superior Data Retention Solutions

Wednesday, April 9th, 2008

Today’s companies struggle with billions of bytes worth of e-mails, Web site visits, text messages, financial transactions, and more, leading to massive data storage problems and the constant need for more storage space. Intelligentias gives these companies on-site or remotely managed data retention solutions that are able to manage the most demanding corporate environments, handling trillions of bytes per minute.

The system requires very little technology due to its unique file structure, which takes a vertical approach to data retention and can therefore handle the extreme volumes of information generates by large, modern corporations. The company’s file system is narrow and specific, as opposed to competitor’s systems, which are wide yet shallow.

Because of its narrow indexing, the system remains unconstrained, allowing for fast, secure and efficient data storage. What this equates to is a large amount of IT savings over conventional relational file systems. This system can reduce necessary storage space by almost 85 percent. It does all this on most standard server systems, eliminating the need for expensive equipment upgrades and again saving companies money. Companies looking for fast, secure, and affordable data retention should look no further than Intelligentias.

The company provides an end-to-end solution for the data retention needs of today’s large enterprises. With Intelligentias’ technology, companies can solve one of IT’s biggest problems – date retention – and, most importantly, solve these problems in a cost-effective manner.
