The SurReal Vodka line distributed in Florida by Liquor Group Florida LLC, a state level affiliate of the Liquor Group Wholesale (OTCBB: LIQR) distribution network, was recently featured at the March 21, 2009 Mural de’ Spring fund raising event benefiting The Concentric ARTS Educational Fund held at the “Open Gallery” of the Haydon Burns Library in Jacksonville. Hundreds of arts patrons in formal attire enjoyed exotic cocktails prepared with the SurReal line of Latvian vodkas while watching world renowned street muralist Jim Phillips and his team of talented artists complete “Flight of the Butterfly”, a mural that was sectioned into pieces and auctioned off at the end of the evening with the funds raised going to Concentric ARTS. Dancers from the Dance Trance troupe also entertained guests to the accompaniment of local musicians.

The Concentric ARTS Educational Fund provides scholarships to students and grants to artists in order to enrich the greater Jacksonville community. The fund also sponsors the annual Downtown Sidewalk Chalk Art Festival featuring locally, nationally and internationally known artists. Liquor Group Receives Green Light on Bailment

Liquor Group Wholesale (OTCBB:LIQR) and the various privately owned Liquor Group entities received great news this week from the Director of the United States Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), the Federal Government organization regulating and enforcing Federal laws related to the alcohol beverage industry. The patent-pending bailment distribution business model in use by Liquor Group in both License States and Control States within the US has been approved by the TTB in a recent notice of compliance, a decision that has landmark repercussions for the entire liquor distribution industry.

Because there are specific Federal and State laws prohibiting “consignment sales” of alcohol beverages, several industry members and distribution competitors of Liquor Group had levied complaints with the TTB and State Alcohol Control agencies claiming that the Innovative Distribution approach utilized by Liquor Group through it’s patent-pending bailment warehousing business model was in violation of regulations and constituted an “Unfair Business Advantage”.

The advantage of the Liquor Group model is best illustrated by an excerpt from a complaint lodged with the government by a distribution competitor: “Liquor Group does not have any carrying costs for the inventory placed in their control by alcohol beverage manufacturers on a state by state basis, allowing them to continue to grow rapidly and unfettered by the costs of the alcohol beverages in their inventory; unaffected by the volume of alcohol beverages they place in each state wherein they operate; and with no need for additional capital to grow their operations; which makes them unmatched in the alcohol beverage industry, and as such they are utilizing an unfair business advantage.”

Liquor Group appreciates the compliments provided to it’s business model by the complaint, especially now that the TTB has confirmed that the model is fully compliant with regulations.

Liquor Group Wholesale Products Selling Too Fast!

Liquor Group Wholesale, Inc. (OTCBB:LIQR) CEO C.J. Eiras announced “Again in this recent quarter our products sold faster than their manufactures could replenish. This is due to the success our sales teams had with the 1700+ wine and spirits products represented in varying degrees in 31 states. These backorders span the country; including Alabama, Florida, Idaho, Iowa, Michigan, Montana, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia and Wyoming.”

The back-log of nearly $250,000 in wholesale goods during the recent quarter (12/08 – 02/09) should be fulfilled shortly, although earlier deliveries would have added additional profitability towards the recent quarter, the company still had a strong showing; continuing a trend of consistent profitability and growth since it’s inception. Details will be disclosed in the firm’s upcoming quarterly report.

Overall sales and profitability continue in an upward direction for Liquor Group, a trend not shared by most companies in these difficult economic times. Eiras noted “…the firm is processing in a large number of new products into its portfolio in coming months, that should allow us to build upon the financial growth that we have continued to experience.”

Liquor Group Wholesale Implements Expansion plans in Ohio

Good News! Liquor Group Sales are Up Despite Soft Economy

In the financial world, there is not much good news to report on these days; however we do have something good in this weeks report! Liquor Group Wholesale (OTCBB: LIQR) advises that period over period product sales are up across almost all 31 US states where it represents more than 1700 alcohol beverage brands; however Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Washington and Wyoming sales are up by triple digits over the same period last year.

These large increases in sales excluded the back orders for sales generated but not filled from various suppliers that hit shelves in December, which will push back a spike in sales to their fiscal second quarter (12/2008 – 2/2009) rather than their first quarter (9/2008 – 11/2009). According to SEC filings, Liquor Group Wholesales total sales would have more than doubled last years figures had brand suppliers been able to meet demand generated by the sales force at Liquor Group.

“This dramatic sales increase is attributed in part to the expansion of our portfolio as well as to additional brand recognition that many unique Liquor Group products have earned, coupled with the reputation for hard work and dedication to sell-through our Liquor Group sales representatives have in the market…” says C. J. Eiras, CEO of Liquor Group Wholesale: “…there’s no “Bailout” needed here, we can thank our loyal customers for that!”

Even in recession ridden states, Liquor Group sales are up substantially. One such example pulled from the NABCA database shows case sales for brands managed under Liquor Group Michigan were up dramatically, as they posted strong December sales to top off a year that saw a whopping 78% increase in overall case sales in 2008. This places Liquor Group firmly once again as the third largest spirits operation in the state. Liquor Group Michigan is an independent SLC of publicly traded Liquor Group Wholesale Inc. and is part of the LIQR distribution network that links operations in 31 states. The massive case sales increase for the firm ran counter to the trend in the state which saw only a 2.2% case sales increase for all wholesale distributors combined according to recently released figures from the Michigan Liquor Control Commission.

“Sales were up for the year across almost the entire line of fine brands we represent in the state and December was our biggest month ever…” says Steven Dodge, Liquor Group Wholesale’s Vice President for Control State Operations. “…the dramatic sales increase shows the result of our staff’s hard work at gaining new distribution outlets, and that our firm’s active marketing of the brands we represent in order to gain consumer recognition and increased market share is working.” Major brand suppliers such as Adamba Imports showed +44% and Charles Jaquins showed +33% in total portfolio sales increases under the skillful sales management of Liquor Group. “We are looking forward to an even stronger 2009 as we continue to expand our brand portfolio and see additional growth of the product lines for several brands we represent in control states such as Michigan,” adds Dodge.

Can Liquor Group continue to grow at this pace in this credit starved, recession filled environment? The answer, quite simply is: YES. The Liquor Group patent pending business model does not rely on any bank line of credit to operate which makes a tremendous difference in continued expansion without the worries of the current credit crunch. Are they recession proof? Who can say, but I am sure that with small-cap stocks dropping like flies in a fog of pesticide, this company has a real chance for success regardless of the economy or the current financial trends.

Liquor Group Adds to Illyrian Imports Portfolio in Florida

Florida based publicly owned specialty spirits and wine distributor Liquor Group Wholesale Inc. (LIQR) has added five new products to its portfolio of Southeastern European products imported by Illyrian Imports of Rochester, MI. The additions include wines from Albania, Montenegro and the Piedmont region of Italy as well as a fine aged Slivovitz from Croatia. Liquor Group’s Product Manager, Lowell Newman said the firm was “pleased to add additional items from this importer whose products are of unusually high quality and have proven quite popular with ethnic populations, particularly along Florida’s central west coast.” Illyrian Imports President, Nua Ivezaj points out that, while the products his firm imports and mostly purchased by expatriate populations from the producing countries, their high quality level at very reasonable prices is helping to build a wider following for the products.

The Skrapari Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve from Albania are produced in one of the oldest wine making regions in the world. Both wines are bold and full bodied examples that pair well with richly flavored foods. Albania is more widely known for its traditional brandies such as the Skrapari Raki Rrushi grape brandy which is also distributed in Florida by Liquor Group.

Plantaze Sasso Negro is a hearty blend of Syrah, Alicante Bouschet and Vranac, an indigenous grape of Montenegro. This high quality oak aged red joins the rest of the Plantaze line – Kristac, Merlot, Vranac and Vranac Pro Corde (Reserve) in the Liquor Group portfolio.

Liquor Group Wholesale Sees Sales Increases, Even In Tough Economy

Liquor Group Supports Hospitalized Veterans and Their Families

Liquor Group Wholesale, Inc, (LIQR) the publicly traded innovative wine and spirits distribution company; in conjunction with Drinks Americas and Trump Super Premium Vodka is pleased to extend a charitable hand to the Walter Reed Society. As of November 2008 through July 4, 2009 a portion of the proceeds from Trump Super Premium Vodka and Trump Premium Flavored Vodkas sales made by Liquor Group in any of the 17 states where it represents Trump Vodka will be donated to help provide housing and resources to returning hospitalize veterans and their families while the veteran are recovering.

The Walter Reed Society contributes and supports the servicemen and women being treated at the Walter Reed Medical Center due to service in Iraq, Afghanistan, and surrounding areas. The Operation Iraqi Freedom / Operation Enduring Freedom Support Fund are used to assist service members and/or their families when support provided through Invitational Travel Orders do not meet the immediate needs during the patient’s treatment at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center.

Funding is approved for assistance on a case by case review of the applications and a personal meeting with a Walter Reed Society representative and it is considered a grant. Liquor Group Wholesale, Inc. (OTCBB: LIQR) today announced its results for their fiscal fourth quarter of 2008. Form 8K filed with the SEC as follows:

The Company announced unaudited net income on a U.S. GAAP basis of $324,923 or $0.037 per share, for the fourth quarter of its fiscal year and overall unaudited results of fiscal 2008. These figures include the costs of the merger with North American Food & Beverage including the time consuming and costly process of bringing the newly merged Company back into full reporting compliance with the Securities and Exchange Commission to allow it to trade again on the public markets.

Liquor Group Wholesale provided more than $250,000 of orders for Drinks Americas products in the first 60 days of their contractual agreement. Since the signing of the contract making Liquor Group Wholesale the distributor of the brands held by Drinks Americas in 16 of the 18 control states, Liquor Group Wholesale has proven their innovative approach to the liquor distribution industry is indeed successful.
