Nhale Inc. (NHLE) Garners Resources for Participation and Growth in $10B Legal Cannabis Market

January 9, 2015

Nhale understands legal marijuana is among the fastest-growing markets in the United States. The company is also well aware that this market is growing at a rate trending to outpace the expansion of the global smartphone market according a widely known American online news publication. It is within this prospective $10 billion market by 2018 that NHLE endeavors to build shareholder value through its acquiring of companies positioned to make a significant impact for medical and recreational purposes.

The marijuana industry’s growth goes hand in hand with a pervasive shift in the public’s attitude toward pot. Gallup polls conducted have found that for the first time in history, more than half of Americans think pot should be legal for both medical and recreational purposes. A CNN documentary explored marijuana’s benefits for a mainstream audience and found individuals are increasingly using the plant’s medicinal properties to treat symptoms even in children. And if that isn’t an exclamation point revealing a shift in public attitude, a coalition of conservative Mormon mothers in Utah lobbying for safe access to cannabis oil for their epileptic children should be.

Nhale is a company with a mission to be a leader in the cannabis industry through the acquisition of proven, early stage companies in the marijuana space. Nhale focuses its efforts at promoting industry awareness and develop economically sustainable partnerships while increasing shareholder value. The company’s strategically pursues accomplishing such goals as conducting product due diligence that will result in the commercialization of well-manufactured, forward-looking products, offering its products to consumers in a responsible manner and maintaining the highest ethical standards in all business endeavors.

In a move that defines the company’s commitment to execute on their corporate strategy, the company announced last month it has executed a term sheet for $10 million in debt financing with Four Twenty Investments, Inc., a Toronto-based private investment group. Four Twenty is focused on the financing and strategic investments of medical marijuana and similar companies involved in the cannabis industry. Nhale will utilize the proceeds of the financing to complete its intended acquisitions of revenue generating marijuana operations in states where recreational and/or medical marijuana has been legalized.

Nhale, Inc. (NHLE) Secures $10M in Financing, $30M in Revenue Projected for 2015 if Pending Acquisitions Successful

January 2, 2015

The recreational and medical marijuana (MMJ) market in North America continues growing by leaps and bounds, driven steadily forward by changing attitudes among the citizenry, as well as law makers regarding cannabis consumption. One of the major factors has been how much revenue the industry can contribute to state coffers in the form of taxation, and the variety of jobs created serving this burgeoning market form a strong secondary impetus for state legislatures to take a second look at passing, at a bare minimum, some form of MMJ legislation, which is often the first step towards broader legalization.

Cannabis has become quite the cash crop, raking in $14B a year in California alone, making it the number one cash crop in the state, which is saying a lot considering how much of the country’s produce and nuts come from California. California produces over 90% of the country’s artichokes, broccoli, cauliflower, celery and garlic, as well as fruits like plums and kiwis, even the lion’s share of walnuts come to us from this one state’s farms. In Oregon, only the state’s abundant apples continue to outrank marijuana as the largest cash crop today, further illustrating how lucrative the basic product for this yet-nascent industry has become.

The U.S. MMJ sector alone was valued at around $2.3B in 2014 according to ArcView Market Research’s latest comprehensive report, and the report also pegs the value within the next four years as more than quadrupling to around $10B. Given the roughly 38% growth rate of the MMJ sector since 2011, this projection seems well within reason and IBISWorld’s MMJ market research report tracks very well with the 2014 ArcView data, putting U.S. MMJ sector revenues at around $2B. The recent GreenWave Advisors report from October 2014 estimates that total U.S. retail marijuana sales revenue could rise to around $35B within the next five years if the substance is made legal in all 50 states, with a lower boundary around $21B if legalization proceeds at a more conservative pace.

The Congressional appropriations bill passed in early December of 2014 even placed landmark restrictions on the DOJ when it comes to going after states that have already passed marijuana reform laws, barring them from spending any monies on such activity, thus giving markets a clear indication of where things are headed. With MMJ currently legal in 23 states and D.C., and recreational sales in Colorado outstripping MMJ sales for the first time as of mid-2014, the underlying industry trend seems quite clear. Especially considering the shifting attitudes of U.S. citizens illustrated by the Gallup poll conducted in October, which showed a clear majority (52%) of Americans now favor marijuana legalization. This is the first time since Gallup started polling on the issue 45 years ago that a majority of those polled were in favor of legalization.

This glowing portrait of the industry’s underlying dynamics is why many investors are flocking to share price-accessible sector players like Nhale, Inc. (OTCQB: NHLE). Nhale is currently focused on pursuing a variety of acquisition opportunities across the medical and recreational cannabis markets, emphasizing targeted operations with a proven business model and the potential to make a significant impact. The company’s execution of a $10M debt financing deal with Toronto-based private investment group Four Twenty Investments, Inc. has set the company up nicely to vigorously pursue their previously disclosed acquisition strategy as 2015 kicks off.

The company is currently pursing acquisition opportunities in Colorado, Washington and Oregon, as well as up in Canada. The company even announced favorable results of talks with a licensed producer in Washington back in mid-December aimed at negotiating an LOI, even as sales in the state, where recreational marijuana stores only opened back in July of 2014, have jumped 400% and are on-track to hit around $200M within another year, according to analysis by Marijuana Business Daily. In Oregon, Nhale has executed an LOI to assess another prospective grower and the company currently estimates revenues could exceed $30M in 2015 if all of their deals currently under negotiation in states where recreational marijuana is already legal go through successfully.

Nhale, Inc. (NHLE): Negotiations with Washington Grower are Proceeding as Recreational Pot Sales Rise

December 10, 2014

According to a press release today, Nhale is moving closer to signing a letter of intent (LOI) with a licensed Washington pot producer as sales of recreational marijuana in the state continue to grow rapidly. Since recreational marijuana shops started opening their doors about five months ago, sales in Washington State have increased 400% and are on track to bring in about $200 million over the next 12 months, according to Marijuana Business Daily.

“One of the reasons for the rising sales growth is that retail stores are less likely to run out of inventory now that the fall harvest is in; although there is ample potential for growth,” stated Lance Williams, President and CEO of Nhale. “Our initial talks with the licensed pot producer in Washington are favorable, and with the addition of operating capital and business resources, we calculate we have the capacity for tripling output during the next harvest.”

Estimated at $1.03 billion annually, marijuana is the state’s second-largest cash crop, close behind apples, according to a study by researcher Jon Gettman, Ph.D.

Recently executing an LOI to assess a prospective Oregon grower and pursuing the LOI with the Washington pot producer, Nhale is in the process of evaluating possible acquisitions in Washington, Colorado and Canada. These initiatives line up with Nhale’s mission to acquire companies with valid business models in the legitimate cannabis industry.

Nhale Inc. (NHLE) Delivers Letter of Intent to Washington State Outdoor Marijuana Grower

December 8, 2014

Nhale has announced that it delivered a letter of intent to an outdoor marijuana grower in the state of Washington. The profitable grower is a licensed producer known for helping supply the sharp upward trending demand for legal marijuana in that state as a result of retail recreational marijuana stores opening for business last summer.

The Washington grower and others who produce marijuana legally have received autumn’s first outdoor harvest which yielded at least a doubling of revenue from August. Retailers are excited to see the product – so eagerly waited for, begin to satisfy market demand.

With marijuana that is grown outdoors being more likely affected by traditional agricultural farming variables such as pests and wind damage, the yields are much higher and have a tendency to cost less since growers do not have to pay for the sunlight. Estimated at $1.03 billion annually, marijuana is the state’s second-largest cash crop, close behind apples, according to a study by researcher Jon Gettman, Ph.D.

Lance Williams, President and CEO of Nhale commented, “The financials submitted to us by this grower have encouraged us to take our evaluation to another level. We see a solid operation within a very controlled business environment, and great potential for increasing revenues through an addition of operating capital and business resources.” In step with Nhale’s mission to acquire companies with valid business models in the legitimate cannabis industry, it is active in seeking and evaluating prospective acquisitions in Washington, Colorado and Canada. As of late, the company signed a letter of intent to explore the commercial metrics of a prospective Oregon grower.

December 2, 2014

Nhale has been asked to share its industry insight on a planned recreational marijuana cultivation and production facility. The company anticipates revenues to top $21 million in the first two years of operation. The offer comes at a time when NHLE continues its pursuit of acquisition targets while simultaneously focusing its efforts at evaluating opportunities in a variety of states where marijuana is legal and decriminalized.

The inquiring company seeking Nhale’s input brings previous longstanding experience in the cultivation and commercialization of medical marijuana accompanied by wide and deep skills necessary for creating superior, in-demand strains of cannabis in the marketplace. The founder of the company has been recognized on an international level and has numerous awards for quality strains to its name. Nhale Inc. (NHLE) in Acquisition Mode for Building Shareholder Value in Emerging Cannabis Space

November 24, 2014

Nhale will continue looking for acquisition targets in legalized marijuana states and currently is reviewing grow operations in the state of Washington, as acreage earmarked for growing could increase, the company’s President and CEO Lance Williams said today.

Washington State potentially could quadruple the amount of land for growing legal marijuana, as the state Liquor Control Board considers changes to its marijuana regulations associated with recreational use. One of these rules would expand the allowable land for legal marijuana to 8.5 million square feet. This figure represents an increase up from the 2 million square feet limit established when the system was established in 2013.

Two months after the first recreational marijuana retail stores opened in Washington, sales are noticeably trending upward and subsequently boosting tax revenue streams for the state, according to a Fortune article. The article also acknowledges more and more marijuana shops are opening across the state.

Mr. Williams went on to say, “Escalating sales of legal marijuana and the associated tax benefits for Washington are positive indicators for the industry. This month’s harvest and the expansion of pot-growing acreage will ease inventory problems as the state’s 68 licensed retail shops resolve supply chain issues and begin meeting the demand for legal product.”

NHLE is looking into acquisitions in other legal states. In late October 2014, the company entered into a Letter of Intent with a company in Oregon and recently established a subsidiary in that state with the intent to produce legal marijuana. The company under consideration intends to apply for a permit from the state to begin operations on up to 20 acres of land in western Oregon.

Nhale, Inc. (NHLE) Approaches Final Agreement with Oregon-based Acquisition Target

November 18, 2014

U.S.-based Nhale, Inc. seeks to acquire companies with valid business models in the legal cannabis industry. On par with this growth strategy, and as a result of recently received additional due diligence, Nhale is nearing a conclusive agreement with a prospective Oregon marijuana grower. The grow facility is projected to gross approximately $8.8 million in revenues during its first year of operation and is anticipated to triple in size each year thereafter.

As it considers the collaboration, Nhale says it has established a subsidiary in the state of Oregon for the purpose of growing and distributing legal marijuana. The location of the subsidiary is significant, considering Oregonians earlier this month voted 45-55% to legalize recreational sales and consumption of marijuana for people 21 years of age and older.

The State of Oregon is home to one of the country’s oldest medical cannabis programs, which was established in 1998. In 2013, the Oregon legislature approved medical marijuana dispensaries. Today, Oregon has one of the highest rates of marijuana use in the country at 14.09%, exceeding the average U.S. rate of 10.2% (Humboldt Journal of Social Relations, Oregon State University).

“We are very encouraged by the prospect of collaborating in Oregon, and we are confident that the talent, resources and skills we bring to the table will be the ideal complement for this project. We are committed to operating with the highest level of integrity as we grow along with the market in this progressive state,” said Lance Williams, President and CEO of Nhale.

On October 31, Nhale entered into a Letter of Intent with the private Oregon-based company, which intends to apply for a permit from the state to begin operations on up to 20 acres of land in western Oregon.

Nhale, Inc. (NHLE) in Advanced Talks with Washington Grower

November 17, 2014

Today before the opening bell, Nhale reported it is in advanced talks with the company representative of a licensed Washington grower. This entity sought out Nhale as a prospective partner. The grower is in the midst of executing its first legal harvest within the state. It seeks to triple in size by 2015.

There are strong market opportunities within Washington for recreational marijuana. An article in Marijuana Business Daily had a poll in which 26% of Americans said they would purchase marijuana if recreational use in their state were legally permissible. Based on the poll statistics, Washington would potentially have a pool of 363,000 customer prospects, excluding out-of-state visitors. Additionally, The Marijuana Business Factbook projected as much as $500 million in potential sales in Washington, which could lead to $1 billion in sales as the market matured.

“Given the importance of Washington State to the legal marijuana industry, Nhale is highly interested in this grower and the potential this deal brings. The alliance could mean a strong entry into this market,” said Lance Williams, President and CEO of Nhale. “We are currently exploring the possible approaches to this opportunity to ensure it is the best arrangement for both parties and enhances value for Nhale stockholders.”

Nhale, Inc. (NHLE) To Form Subsidiary with Solid Initial Oregon Grower Appraisal

November 12, 2014

With initial due diligence on a prospective Oregon grower yielding positive results, Nhale announced its plans to form a subsidiary in the state of Oregon. The subsidiary will be for production of legal marijuana.

On October 31, Nhale inked a letter of intent with a privately-held Oregon grower. It is close to finalizing due diligence on the prospect and its capabilities to grow and distribute marijuana. The prospective grower intends to apply for a permit from Oregon to begin operations on approximately 20 acres of land in the western part of the state.

Last week, Oregon voters passed Measure 91, which legalized recreational use of marijuana. Entrepreneurs have been looking for ways to capitalize on these new market opportunities. Oregon already has a medical marijuana system in place, and it is taking steps to come up with a model in which recreational marijuana can be sold.

Proponents of legalization had projected Oregon could attain as much as $80 million in marijuana tax revenue within the first two years of its legalization. The Washington Post reported Colorado took in $7.5 million in tax revenue in just August 2014 and has collected almost $45 million year-to-date. Furthermore, the Drug Policy Alliance projects annual nationwide tax revenue could reach $46.7 billion through legalization.

“By collaborating with the capable team under consideration, we feel comfortable that we can bring a skilled complement of talent and resources into this project and prepare to meet the requirements for approvals and licensing,” said Lance Williams, President and CEO of Nhale.

Nhale, Inc. (NHLE) Takes First Step to Capitalize on the OK for Legal Recreational Marijuana in Oregon

Nhale, a technology company aiming to be the premier innovator in the legal cannabis industry, with the intent of growing legal cannabis has entered into a Letter of Intent (LOI) with a private Oregon-based company that has marijuana production capabilities. This venture is in accordance with Nhale’s mission to acquire companies with proven business models in the legal cannabis industry.

The LOI comes fresh on the heels of the successful passage of Measure 91, which legalizes recreational marijuana for people ages 21 and older. The company under consideration intends to apply for a permit from the state to begin operations on approximately 20 acres of land in western Oregon.

The Oregon Legalized Marijuana Initiative, Measure 91, passed yesterday, allowing adults over 21 years old to possess up to eight ounces of “dried” marijuana and up to four plants.

“We congratulate the citizens of Oregon who have worked hard to bring about this legislation and we are excited about the opportunity to consider developing our business in this great state,” Lance Williams, president and CEO of Nhale stated in the news release. “We feel optimistic about collaborating with the talented team under consideration and feel they will be complementary to our goals for future growth.”

Oregon also has one of the oldest medical marijuana programs in the U.S., established in 1998, just two years after the first was created in California. Nhale Inc. (NHLE) in Talks with Oregon Cannabis Grower as Election Day Approaches

November 3, 2014

Nhale announced it is in discussions with an Oregon-based, private company with marijuana production capabilities. The intent is to grow cannabis should the state legalize recreational marijuana in tomorrow’s election on November 4th. The company under consideration plans to apply for a permit from the state to begin operations on a 20-acre parcel in western Oregon. This venture aligns with NHLE’s goal to acquire revenue-generating assets in the legal cannabis industry.

Measure 91, The Oregon Legalized Marijuana Initiative, is on the November 4, 2014 ballot as an initiated state statute. If approved by voters, the measure will legalize recreational marijuana for people ages 21 and older thus allowing adults over this age to have up to eight ounces of “dried” marijuana and up to four plants.

In Oregon, data shows 14.5 percent of the state’s population uses marijuana, compared to about 10.8 percent of Americans. These figures give Oregon one of the highest rates of marijuana use in the U.S. Oregon also has one of the oldest medical marijuana programs in the US, established in 1998, just two years after the first was created in California. State economists estimate Oregon will gain between $17.5 and $25.9 million in tax revenues in the first years of legalization with one fifth of the consumption expected to come from tourists.

Lance Williams, President and Chief Executive Officer of Nhale, said, “We have been carefully investigating prospects in the marijuana industry. With legalization taking place in multiple markets, we are seeking experienced, proven collaborators in this expanding and highly profitable space.”

Currently legal for medical or recreational purposes in 23 states, data suggests marijuana could become legal nationwide in some capacity in a few years. In an interview with the Huffington Post, Rep. Earl Blumenauer (D-Ore.) said, “I think it’s game over in less than five years,” referring to the downward trend of legal prohibitions of cannabis in the U.S.

Nhale™ is a technology company whose mission is to be the premier legal cannabis industry innovator, promoting industry awareness and developing economically sustainable partnerships while increasing shareholder value.
