Pure Hospitality Solutions, Inc. (PNOW) Partners with Top Travel Technology Solutions Provider, Approaches Completion of Oveedia Development

July 9, 2015

On Thursday, Pure Hospitality Solutions took another major step in the development of its Central American-Caribbean travel hub, Oveedia, when it announced a partnership with one of the most extensive visual media syndicate networks in the world, Leonardo Worldwide Corporation. Leonardo is among the travel industry’s most trusted providers of technology solutions, serving major online travel agency (OTA) clients such as TripAdvisor (NASDAQ: TRIP) and Expedia (NASDAQ: EXPE). Through this alignment, Pure will gain access to a library of high quality digital photographs encompassing all of the more than 100,000 properties to be included in Oveedia’s catalog upon launch.

This partnership comes at an ideal time for Pure, as the company continues to approach the initial launch of its regional OTA. Last month, Pure intensified the anticipation for Oveedia’s upcoming launch when it released snapshots of the finalized site design, and now, with the final piece of the developmental puzzle falling into place, the company appears to have entered the homestretch.

“The fact that we’re ready to access Leonardo is a clear indication of just how far we are in the development process, or more important, how close we are to the initial launch,” Melvin Pereira, president and chief executive offer of Pure, stated in a news release. “This piece of the development will round out the search and return requirements of the OTA.”

As a member of the $7 billion Sabre Travel Network family, Oveedia will be in a strong position to become a formidable player in the Latin American online travel market in the coming years. Encompassing twenty markets, numerous currencies, diverse cultures and a handful of native languages, the region is a relatively open opportunity for regional players, as the penetration of major global OTAs has been extremely limited. For Pure, this challenge provides an opportunity to tap into a $100 billion travel market that is currently expanding by 15 percent each year, according to a report by Phocuswright.

For prospective shareholders, the continued progress of Pure in preparing for the launch of its Oveedia OTA makes the company an intriguing investment opportunity moving forward. Look for the company to leverage the opportunities presented by its partnerships with both Leonardo and Sabre to make waves in the online travel industry in the months to come.

Pure Hospitality Solutions (PURE) Issues Barrage of Updates to Keep Shareholders Abreast of Progress

July 8, 2015

When it comes to shareholder communication, Pure Hospitality Solutions nails it. The company leaves little to investor imagination in terms of what the company is doing and if anyone is active behind the wheel. Within the last month, Pure has issued five news releases highlighting its most recent endeavors as it strives to become a global brand competing in a market with Expedia (NASDAQ:EXPE), Priceline (NASDAQ:PCLN) and Orbitz Worldwide (NYSE:OWW).

In an announcement at the beginning of June, Pure CEO Melvin Pereira urged shareholders and potential investors to read through the company’s first-quarter filings to get a bigger picture of “what we once were, where we are today, and what true value the upcoming months hold for Pure.” Tucked into the filing are nuggets of pertinent info, such as Pure’s successful reduction of $1 million of debt.

“Those who know me, know how serious I am about this company. When I update our information on OTC Markets, sometimes it takes up to 72 hours to reflect the changes. That’s just not acceptable to me. We will keep our information updated on a weekly basis to ensure that shareholders always have recent information,” stated Pereira.

True to his word, the following week Pure issued a news release announcing the submission of the Oveedia architecture to the Sabre Travel Network to expedite the launch of the Central American-Caribbean travel hub.

“Softon is working diligently to meet the programing and integration demands of PURE; particularly where it involves Sabre,” stated Pereira. “Submitting the Oveedia architecture to Sabre is just as important of a step in the Oveedia development process, as is creating wireframes in the ‘beginning’ phase of website development. With the basic architecture in place, programming and integration should continue relatively smoothly.”

Two days later, Pure announced the acceleration of its debt reduction program which will ultimately speed-up the development of Oveedia. By cutting roughly one-third of the company’s debt in six months, Pure said it is on track to eliminate approximately 90% of its debt by year-end.

Pereira wasn’t shy in highlighting the company’s legacy debt.

“I believe, paying down, or eliminating debt, is an investment in yourself,” stated Pereira. “It is a true indication of who you are and what you intend for the future. Of course, building a profitable, successful business, will require proper financing. But it is absolutely asinine for this company to carry this outrageous legacy debt – or any other liability, that is going to hinder and not spur our growth. And this is why we felt it important that PURE accelerate its debt reduction program.”

He also noted the company’s advantage of “operating in one of the hottest growing travel locations in the world,” noting several reasons private tech investors are increasingly interested in the company.

“We have the benefit of a niche market, the ‘home field’ advantage, and historical indicators that point to acquisitions involving OTA’s like Oveedia. So, we are cleaning house! In doing so, we will leverage our strengths and deliver the greatest possible impact on shareholder value and confidence; something never before seen from this company,” he said.

Speaking of leveraging strengths, Pure took to the newswires, again just a couple days later, to announce additions to its database. Teaming up with the Jaco Tour Company, Pure is adding excursions to the Oveedia Travel Network, building on relationships with properties like Tango Mar in Costa Rica.

The partnership with the Jaco Tour Company “greatly” expands Pure’s reach through greater visibility through the promotion of exclusive tours and adventures via the Oveedia online travel agency (OTA).

“Teaming up with the Jaco Tour Company now is perfect timing for PURE. It will help us to properly test Oveedia for its upcoming launch. This relationship also proves to the world that there is an absolute need for a Central American-Caribbean, region specific OTA; suggesting that the end value of Oveedia could be tremendous,” explained Pereira.

Most recently, Pure released Oveedia’s site design snapshots to the public as Softon programmers near completion of the travel hub. One of the primary goals of the releasing the snapshots was to give shareholders confidence that the company is working on delivering tangible, quantifiable results.

“We are giving shareholders a glimpse into the style and functionality of the first iteration of PURE’s Central American-Caribbean online travel hub; and believe me, we are incredibly excited,” stated Pereira. “Those who understand software development will attest, we are currently at a stage where testing will soon begin and an early launch is likely. …Now is the time to show shareholders exactly what we have been doing since I stepped into the CEO position with PURE. We are on our way to having one of the most incredible assets in the history of our organization. We are proud to show our continued progress to our shareholders, as well as members of the tourism industry for the Central American-Caribbean region.”

It’s worth putting Pure on your radar – backed by an aggressive, visionary CEO, the company is quickly on the move to capture its share of the online travel market.

Pure Hospitality Solutions, Inc. (PNOW) Holds Course to become Central American-Caribbean Online Travel Hub

July 1, 2015

Pure Hospitality Solutions (OTC:PNOW) is developing efficient tools to enable travelers to book lodging accommodations in affordable high end luxury units at relatively low cost. To execute this mission, the company primarily focuses on the development and acquisition of condominium apartments in hot-spot tourist destinations like Costa Rica. Pure’s overarching mission is to compete alongside travel industry behemoths like Expedia, Inc. (NASDAQ:EXPE), Orbitz Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE:OWW) and Priceline Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:PCLN).

In most cases, Pure uses its Friendly Reservations Online (FROL) booking engine to ensure higher occupancy rates in its affiliate condos and that of the individual owners. FROL is currently undergoing a pre-launch overhaul, in which the tool will be branded as an online travel agency (OTA) called Oveedia, which will focus on the Central American-Caribbean region.

Oveedia will be accessible on al devices, and will ultimately incorporate new mobile apps, offer travelers the newest electronic payment options, provide hotel operators and condominium owners with back-end technology services, and operate as a standalone online hospitality search and reservation booking system.

Bigger industry players like Expedia and Orbitz generally charge about 25% of the total reservation amount, according to Pure. These OTAs are essentially third-party travel sites offering virtual billboards to hotels and condominiums looking to market their properties to online travel shoppers. Because these OTAs have amassed high-volume traffic, they are in a position to command higher commission rates.

Pure’s plan is to leverage this OTA billboard model and maintain a competitive edge by offering its hospitality reservation services, utilizing its booking engine, at 8% of the reservation amount. While charging lower commission rates, the company will drive revenues through four key strategies:

1. Initial membership fees charged to each new hotel and condominium properties joining the “by PURE” lodging brand;
2. Monthly royalties from “by PURE” brand locations of no more than 8% of the total Internet reservation sales revenue;
3. Revenue generated from corporate-owned properties;
4. E-marketing revenue.

The company has already signed up a number of properties during past product beta test, and said it believes that through the post-merger/acquisition of various projects located in Costa Rica, it can attract, secure and successfully provide services to approximately 300 participating hotel and condominium owners within the next 12 months.

Ultimately, Pure intends to become a top-tier hotel brand operator and Internet booking and marketing service provider. The company also intends to establish an international footprint with its online booking engine technology and marketing offerings, making that segment of its business a prime acquisition target for major OTAs.

Pure Hospitality Solutions Inc. (PNOW) – Growing Its Support System

June 23, 2015

Not too long ago, Pure Hospitality Solutions revealed that it had become a member of the Sabre Travel Network. By making this move, Pure is strengthening the foundation for its online travel agent, Oveedia, to become an industry competitor of note in Latin America’s multi-billion dollar virtual travel market.

The Sabre Corporation is a leading travel and tourism software company. The Sabre Travel Network is a global business-to-business travel marketplace that consists mainly of its global distribution system (GDS), as well as a variety of offerings that integrate with the GDS.

All in all, Sabre provides support services to a widespread network of the travel industry’s most renowned players. Its marketplace is used by some 400 airlines, 125,000 hotel properties, 200 tour operators, 50 rail carriers, 27 car rental outlets, 16 cruise lines and more than 350,000 travel agents around the globe. More specifically, Sabre’s $7 billion travel network family includes American Airlines, American Express, Expedia, JetBlue, Travelocity and other easily recognizable names. And now, Pure’s Oveedia OTA will receive unmatched support as Pure is inducted into Sabre’s multi-billion dollar travel network family.

Pure Hospitality Solutions, Inc. (PNOW) Highlights Continued Progress through Release of Oveedia Site Snapshots

June 15, 2015

Pure Hospitality Solutions, in an effort to continue building shareholder confidence, recently released a collection of site design snapshots for its upcoming Central American-Caribbean online travel hub, Oveedia.

“[W]e are currently at a stage where testing will soon begin and an early launch is likely,” Melvin Pereira, president and chief executive officer of Pure, stated in a news release. “Our programmers are working tirelessly to ensure Oveedia’s launch is not only accelerated, but that an ultra-friendly user experience is achieved by front-end consumers.”

With the snapshots, Pure is providing shareholders with a glimpse into the style, functionality and design of the Oveedia platform. Along with two unique desktop versions of its design, the preview also includes both tablet and mobile design snapshots, highlighting the quantifiable progress of Pure in recent months.

“We are exploring two differently designed, ultra-responsive versions, all shown as the platform will appear on a desktop, smartphone or tablet,” continued Pereira. “We are on our way to having one of the most incredible assets in the history of our organization.”

In May, Pure took a significant step toward increasing the potential value of Oveedia by becoming a member of the Sabre Travel Network. Through this agreement, the company gained access to a $7 billion booking network, including more than 125,000 hotels, 400 airlines, 16 cruise lines and 25 car rental selections. In addition to its partnership with Sabre, Pure has also made major strides toward a sustainable presence in the growing Central American-Caribbean travel industry through the continued expansion of its standalone travel network. Last week, the company added Jaco Tour Company to the fold, and expansion to approximately 300 hotels and travel-related businesses is expected by the end of the year.

According to a report by Amadeus, the online travel agency segment in the Latin American market is expected to account for $98.5 billion in 2016, providing Pure with the opportunity to realize rapid increases in market share following Oveedia’s initial release. Integration with the Sabre Travel Network, as well as continued expansion of Pure’s standalone region-specific travel network, should make Oveedia a strong acquisition target for larger, globally dominant OTAs – including Expedia and Priceline – in the years to come. For prospective shareholders, the impending launch of Oveedia makes Pure an intriguing investment opportunity moving forward.

Pure Hospitality Solutions, Inc. (PNOW) Announces New Partnership Ahead of Upcoming Oveedia Launch

June 12, 2015

Pure Hospitality Solutions, Inc. (OTC: PNOW) has teamed with Costa Rica-based Jaco Tour Company, allowing Pure’s upcoming online travel agency (OTA), the Oveedia Travel Network, to officially add excursions to its growing database of reservation options.

“Today marks another major milestone for PURE, Oveedia and our reputation within the Central American-Caribbean region,” stated Melvin Pereira, president and chief executive officer of Pure. “After a number of conversations and meetings, Oveedia has its first independent tour company, on-top of Sabre’s extensive database.”

Through the deal, Pure has agreed to feature the Jaco Tour Company on Oveedia’s homepage, providing travelers with access to exclusive pricing on fishing charters, transportation, local tours and day trips throughout all of Costa Rica. Moving forward, these independent offers will allow Pure to differentiate Oveedia from worldwide OTAs, further demonstrating the market for region-specific solutions in the Central American-Caribbean travel market and, potentially, increasing the end value of the Oveedia platform.

“While being a part of Sabre’s $7 billion Travel Network family is absolutely crucial, it’s the independent hotels and companies, such as the Tango Mar and now the Jaco Tour Company, which makes Oveedia completely unique and extremely valuable,” continued Pereira. “Oveedia will have an entire region of properties and travel companies represented on its platform that are not readily listed on larger, globally known OTAs. This, in and of itself, makes the platform extremely valuable as an acquisition target.”

Earlier this week, Pure took a major step toward the launch of its groundbreaking OTA platform by submitting the Oveedia architecture to the Sabre Travel Network. Through its partnership with Sabre, the company added more than 125,000 hotels, 400 airlines, 16 cruise lines and 25 car rental selections to its reservation database, but the importance of independent deals to the overall success of Oveedia can’t be overstated. With the early stages of the company’s three phase rollout of the network scheduled to begin in the upcoming weeks, Pure is continuing to amplify the OTAs massive potential through these region-specific partnerships.

According to a report by eMarketer, the Latin American region has led the world in terms of online travel sales growth for the better part of a decade. From 2010 to 2013, the region recorded annual growth topping 30 percent, and this rapid expansion is expected to continue in the years to come. Through the development of the Oveedia platform, Pure is positioning itself to translate this growth into sustainable returns moving forward. Look for the company to make waves in the OTA industry as it continues to expand its database of booking options, establishing Oveedia as a potentially lucrative acquisition target in the near future.

Pure Hospitality Solutions, Inc. (PNOW) Cleaning House with Accelerated Debt Reduction Program

June 10, 2015

Fresh on the heels of Monday’s announcement that it had submitted its Oveedia architecture to the Sabre Travel Network, Pure Hospitality Solutions, Inc. (OTC: PNOW) provided potential investors with yet another reason to consider the company with its announcement of an accelerated debt reduction program.

“I believe, paying down, or eliminating debt, is an investment in yourself,” stated Melvin Pereira, President and Chief Executive Officer of Pure. “It is a true indication of who you are and what you intend for your future. Of course, building a profitable, successful business, will require proper financing. But it is absolutely asinine for this company to carry this outrageous legacy debt – or any other liability, that is going to hinder and not spur our growth.”

Over the past six months, Pure has eliminated roughly one third of its outstanding debt, including accrued interest and other carry costs. This dedication to improving its financial outlook has placed Pure into a strong strategic position to fast track its Oveedia OTA platform while effectively encouraging private tech investors to invest in the company and clearing the way for more viable financing options in the future.

“[W]e are cleaning house! In doing so, we will leverage our strengths and deliver the greatest possible impact on shareholder value and confidence; something never before seen from this Company,” concluded Pereira.

Under its newly accelerated debt reduction program, Pure is on course to eliminate nearly 90 percent of its total debt by the end of 2015, setting the stage for potentially substantial returns as the company nears the release of its Oveedia platform. With necessary adjustment to the company’s business plan already underway, Pure is positioning itself to emerge as a formative competitor in the $30 billion Latin American online travel market in the coming months.

As Pure continues to remove legacy debts from its books, the company is quickly approaching the much anticipated launch of Oveedia. Leveraging the ample resources presented by becoming a member of Sabre’s $7 billion travel network family, Pure is on track to complete an initial version of its OTA platform as early as the end of this week. This advanced development will allow the company to begin the site’s three phase rollout sooner than originally scheduled.

Pure Hospitality Solutions, Inc. (PNOW) Takes Major Step toward Oveedia Launch through Sabre Travel Network Submittal

June 8, 2015

In recent months, Pure Hospitality Solutions, Inc. (OTC: PNOW) has turned its focus toward the launch of its groundbreaking Central American-Caribbean centric online travel agent (OTA) platform, Oveedia, and the company took a major step toward expediting this goal on Monday by submitting the Oveedia architecture to the Sabre Travel Network.

“Submitting the Oveedia architecture to Sabre is just as important of a step in the Oveedia development process, as is creating wireframes in the ‘beginning’ phase of website development,” Melvin Pereira, president and chief executive officer of Pure, stated in the news release. “With the basic architecture in place, programming and integration should continue relatively smoothly.”

In May, Pure announced that it had become a member of the Sabre Travel Network, which is noted to be the industry’s leading travel and tourism software company. Through this partnership, the Oveedia platform gained access to a network of more than 125,000 hotels, 400 airlines, 16 cruise lines and 25 car rental selections, giving Pure a significant advantage as it continues to prep for a major three phase rollout in the upcoming weeks.

“[W]e have reached a true milestone – being certified under Sabre; effectively becoming a bona-fide online travel agent,” continued Pereira. “With Sabre’s service support, we will surely become the Central American-Caribbean travel hub.”

The travel market throughout Latin America is one of the most rapidly expanding in the world. According to a report by Phocuswright, the market is expected to approach $100 billion by 2016, and online travel booking is accounting for an increasingly large share of that spending. Annually, the region is experiencing growth of 15 percent in the OTA industry despite relatively low penetration by global OTA leaders, including Expedia, Priceline, Orbitz and Travelocity.

For sustainable success in the Central American-Caribbean travel market, industry analysts insist that unique customer engagement models, including flexible payment options and local language support, will be critical. It is in this area that Pure, by focusing its efforts directly on the underserved market, has a significant strategic advantage in the regional OTA industry.

With large portions of the ‘beginning development’ phase of Oveedia now complete, Pure is pushing for completion of an initial version of the travel platform as early as the end of this week. Look for the company to leverage the immense power of the Sabre Travel Network to streamline future development in a continued effort to expedite the launch of the company’s game-changing travel hub.

June 4, 2015

Pure Hospitality Solutions, providing proprietary technology, marketing, and branding solutions, to hotel operators and condominium owners, announced completion of their first quarter disclosure filings to remain current with OTC Markets. The company anticipates no further filing delays.

Company President and CEO, Melvin Pereira, stated “When I update our information on OTC Markets, sometimes it takes up to 72 hours to reflect the changes. That’s just not acceptable to me. We will keep our information updated on a weekly basis to ensure that shareholders always have recent information.” He went on to say that the filing is of special importance, since it will allow investors to “walk away with a better picture of what we once were, where we are today, and what true value the upcoming months hold for Pure.”

May 29, 2015

Pure Hospitality Solutions today said it is nearing completion of its first-quarter filings with the OTC Markets and expects to complete the process within the next five business days.

As the company’s accountants wrap up the financial reports to complete the filing, PNOW president and CEO Melvin Pereira assured the investment community that the company does not foresee late filings moving forward.

“As we initially stated, aside from this one filing, we do not anticipate being late on any future filings,” Pereira stated in the news release. “As with the year-end, this filing was temporarily delayed due to the implementation of our multi-million dollar divestiture initiative, where we again, successfully reduced an additional $1 million of debt.”

Interested parties can visit the Investor board to engage in virtual conversation about Pure Hospitality solutions at http://investorshangout.com/Pure-Hospitality-Solutions-Inc-PNOW-65267.

Melvin Pereira, President and CEO of Pure Hospitality Solutions, Inc. commented, “With all of the ‘pump-and-dump’ and ‘bashing’ boards that exist out there, we are very pleased to partner with a platform that is in the midst of changing how these boards operate. Investors Hangout does not allow frivolous comments one way or the other; no excessive praising or bashing, just facts communicated by our Company or inquiries from shareholders/investors seeking additional information. From a programming perspective, this platform is top-notch… One can see that there is a true webmaster running the Company, not someone looking to extort money or information as other major platforms attempt to do.”

PNOW management has noted that their association with Investors Hangout is designed to offer an added alternative information source for current and perspective shareholders. “With all the progress we’re experiencing behind the scenes, we’re happy to have another distribution channel in which to post our information,” Pereira continued. “Not only will we have new eyes viewing our information, we now have a platform that we can upload our information to, aside from our website, which should continue to help steadily grow our investor base.”

In summary, Pereira said, “There’s very little that annoys me more than people posting fake, misleading and deceptive information around the internet. We all know of the ‘hubs’ out there that have members constantly posting frivolous information in an attempt to bring down our value. We urge all our shareholders to break away from the typical hub and visit our Pure Hospitality Solutions page on Investors Hangout to ensure the information you’re reading is legitimate.”

Pure Hospitality Solutions, Inc. (PNOW) Announces Increased Financial Commitment to the Development of Groundbreaking Travel Solution

May 18, 2015

Through the engagement of Softon ITG, Pure Hospitality Solutions, Inc. has ramped up its efforts to launch a formidable online travel agent (OTA) in the underserved Central American-Caribbean market. With several planned social and visual media components, Oveedia, Pure’s online hospitality booking engine, is currently being developed as one of the most unique OTAs on the market. Estimates for completion of the initial phase of coding integration clocked in at just 527 hours, allowing the company to consider the possibility of moving the scheduled 2015 launch forward.

The massive potential of the Oveedia platform benefits from its “first-mover advantage” within the niche market. With an estimated $30+ billion of online travel revenue, anticipation for sizable growth in the rapidly expanding Central American market is high.

“As Pure Hospitality Solutions ramps up coding integration, we are working diligently to further reduce debt and overhang, aggressively developing Oveedia’s marketing plans, exploring financing options for the company and signing on local hotels in the Central American-Caribbean region,” stated Melvin Pereira, President and CEO of Pure. “[The company] is on a ‘fast-track’ to revenue stemming from online operations.”

The target Central American region encompasses over 16,000 destinations that are currently grossly underserved by OTA providers, making it a prime location for rapid growth. According to a study by global travel market research company Phocuswright, Latin America accounted for just three percent of global OTA market share in 2010, despite accounting for approximately seven percent of overall travel. This figure continues to rise, however. From 2010 to 2012, the region led all global markets in total growth.

Industry experts insist that the current lag in OTA penetration is a result of an underserved market. In 2012, less than 30 percent of all online booking in the Latin American region was completed using major players in the OTA industry, such as Priceline, Expedia and Travelocity. Instead, travelers opted for lesser-known OTAs that delivered customized support including native language prompts, diversified payment options and helpful local content.

“What this means, simply, is that… we now have the ability to establish a broader market presence ahead of advancing our niche focus – the underserved travel destinations of Central America and those Latin countries of the Caribbean,” continued Periera.

With similarly structured regional OTAs, such as Agoda, being acquired by major travel companies in recent years, the potential financial advantages of the Oveedia platform can’t be overstated. As Pure continues to move towards carving out a sizable share of the world’s most rapidly expanding online tourism market, the company could be in a strong position for regional acquisition in the years to come. In any case, increased financial commitment to the programming and software development of Pure’s booking engine makes it an intriguing time for investors of this growing company.

Pure Hospitality Solutions, Inc. (PNOW) Now an Official Member of the Renowned Sabre Travel Network

May 15, 2015

After fulfilling contractual obligations, Pure Hospitality Solutions says it is now a member of  the Sabre Travel Network and has secured its “prestigious” Pseudo City Code (PCC), enabling PURE’s OTA (Online Travel Agent), Oveedia, to “become a formidable industry competitor” in Latin America’s lucrative online travel market, which is expected to more than double to reach $80 billion in 2016.

The Sabre Corp., reputed to be the industry’s leading travel and tourism software company, provides support services to a large network of the industry’s most renowned players. Sabre’s multi-billion dollar travel network family includes American Airlines, American Express, Expedia, JetBlue and Travelocity, as well as lesser known but growing companies like Carlson Wagonlit Travel GetThere, and PURE’s Oveedia.

“I found a little piece of happiness when I read the opening paragraph of Sabre’s email to us, which concluded ‘…we are delighted that you are now a member of the Sabre Travel Network family’,” Melvin Pereira, president and CEO of PURE, stated in the news release. “Even during the time of the original FROL’s operation, never in the history of this company, have we been so close to really ‘breaking out.’ By ‘breaking out’, I mean, becoming a globally recognized online hospitality booking engine; actually carving out a significant share of the OTA marketplace. With Oveedia positioned to be the travel hub for large and underserved segments of the Latin market – specifically in Central America and the Latin countries of the Caribbean, if successful, Oveedia has ‘Acquisition’ written all over it. Now is the time.”

Sabre’s network provides Oveedia with access to more than 125,000 hotels, 400 airlines, 16 cruise lines and 25 car rental selections. Oveedia’s three-phase roll-out is scheduled to begin in the upcoming weeks, and in preparation PURE’s unique PCC is being fully integrated into the Oveedia platform. Oveedia’s PCC is the agency’s alpha-numeric identity used to associate bookings with its platform and to identify private fares available to the OTA.

“Today we have reached a true milestone – being certified under Sabre; effectively becoming a bona-fide online travel agent. With Sabre’s service support, we will surely become the Central American-Caribbean travel hub.  We will service over 16,000 underserviced vacation locations, routing travelers to hundreds of the region’s newly discovered destinations, while likely generating the type of billion dollar sales revenues that those companies which are a part of Sabre’s $7 billion Travel Network family are known to do,” stated Pereira.

Pure Hospitality Solutions, Inc. (PNOW) Files Annual Report for 2014 with OTC Markets

May 11, 2015

Today before the opening bell, Pure Hospitality Solutions announced that accountants have completed their work on its financials. The 2014 year end disclosures with OTC Markets can be viewed at the following link: http://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/PNOW/filings.

“As previously mentioned, we intended to make some bold adjustments to our business strategy, which would briefly postpone our voluntary disclosure filings with OTC Markets,” stated Melvin Pereira President and CEO of Pure Hospitality Solutions, Inc. “These strategies came to fruition much faster than we expected, adding to an already challenging year end disclosure, as we looked to prepare them in such a way not to impede the fluidity of the audit. Once we began implementing our multi-million dollar divestiture initiative, along with a $1,000,000 debt reduction program – successfully completing both in relatively short order – it all took our accountants by surprise.”

“As PURE files 2014 year end disclosures with OTC Markets, this company is taking huge, progressive steps. Transforming like a caterpillar into a butterfly; which in no way is a pleasant metamorphosis, PURE is painstakingly making all of the necessary adjustments to emerge as a formative competitor in the $30 plus billion dollar Latin American online travel market.”

The company also told investors that it’s prepping the first iteration of Oveedia, a full-service online hospitality booking engine under development, for a soft launch. With plans to complete its arrangement with Sabre before the end of this month, PURE will have immediate access to an additional 125,000 hotels, 400 airlines, 16 cruise lines and over 25 car rental selections from which the company can begin generating immediate revenues. This relationship with Sabre will enable PURE to begin mass marketing Oveedia; expanding its visibility to the broader global market, prior to launching the 2nd phase roll-out of its region specific OTA. By the time the company begins aggressively positioning Central America and Caribbean travel destinations, “Oveedia will already be heavily indexed and recognized as a competing OTA,” continued Mr. Pereira.

“We expect that by mid-August, Oveedia will be into its second phase of the roll out, with the third phase being completed sometime in December. Revenues from OTA operations can potentially begin to occur as early as June. And having already signed on properties to Oveedia, such as Tango Mar Beachfront Boutique Hotel & Villas, our OTA can hit the ground running; immediately featuring properties from within our Central American-Caribbean focus.”

In closing, the company said that except for the Q1 2015 filing, slowed by completion of the 2014 annual report, management doesn’t anticipate being late on filings going forward. It was also indicated that graduating to a higher exchange within the next 12 months will be management’s mandate and with that will come the requirement of timely filings.

Pure Hospitality Solutions, Inc. (PNOW) Sharpens Focus on Becoming Central American-Caribbean Online Travel Hub

May 8, 2015

From its corporate headquarters in Las Vegas, Pure Hospitality Solutions has its sight set on becoming a Central American-Caribbean online travel hub. One of the most recent steps in achieving this goal was joining the National Tourism Center of Costa Rica, which gave Pure the immediate capability to deploy, market and expand the reach of its online travel agency (OTA), Oveedia, throughout the country.

Costa Rica is home to approximately 6,000 hotel lodging and vacation properties. As a member of the National Tourism Center, Pure now has networking access to more than 600 properties within Costa Rica’s Chamber of Commerce and the potential to connect with thousands more.

“We joined this organization, not only to show that we are a real and viable business that is growing quickly, but to facilitate national and international networking. We are building an OTA specifically for the Central American and Caribbean region and now have a powerful national ally who shares in part of our vision…,” Pure CEO Melvin Pereira stated in a recent news release.

Prior to this inclusion, as well as before the official launch of Pure’s OTA, Oveedia signed its first property, the Tango Mar Beachfront Boutique Hotel & Villa. The achievement represents Pure’s traction in the Central American-Caribbean region and begins the process of the company securing its market share of Latin America’s booming online travel industry, which is expected to reach $30 billion this year.

“Tango Mar has sparked a major movement for refuge on Oveedia’s travel hub for this region’s [Central American & Caribbean] underserved hoteliers like Tango Mar. Now that we officially have the first property exclusively under the Oveedia OTA, Pure’s initial order of business – in this instance – will be to introduce new travelers to the beauty of Tango Mar and all of its amazing amenities; including its private beach, golf course and much more. Next, will be to do the same for the rest of the region. So, work continues steadily to ensure a timely launch of Oveedia.”

Following the official launch of Oveedia, Pure plans to stand as a technology-based operation with little to no legacy debt, a valuation that the company predicts will exceed $40 million, and achieving its goal of being the Central American-Caribbean online travel hub.

Pure Hospitality Solutions, Inc. (PNOW) Ahead of the Game as Central American-Caribbean OTA Market Heats Up

April 28, 2015

The recent move by the U.S. to do away with travel bans to Cuba will no doubt accelerate an influx of dollars to already booming online travel sales for Latin America, which are expected to reach upwards of $30 billion within the next two years alone according to forecasts by Barclays. Indeed, many predictions indicate that Latin America will be the single global region leading all online travel sales growth over the next few years, with double digit growth far exceeding that of any other region. The historically unprecedented move by American Express (NYSE: AXP) and MasterCard (NYSE: MA) to process transactions located in Cuba and to allow their credit cards to be used in the country should act as a major springboard for overall Latin American tourism.

Latin America’s online travel bookings were up 13 percent in 2013, with online travel agencies (OTAs) making up around 41 percent of the pie. On a broader scale, online travel bookings in general rose at three times the rate of overall travel spending, clearly showing how hot the OTA market is as a segment of the roughly $1.3 trillion global travel market. Online travel booking revenues rose 9.2 percent in 2013 (compared to only 3 percent growth in total travel spending) to around $402 billion according to analysis by PhoCusWright, taking up a third of all bookings. Moreover, relatively low online penetration within Latin America, where the market is still highly developing and fragmented, where independent hotel brands still largely dominate the playing field in key destinations, has created a major opportunity for innovative OTAs with specialized technologies and approaches to capturing this thriving market.

Ongoing consolidation in the OTA space, underscored by the recent activities of sector giant Expedia (NASDAQ: EXPE), has created a perfect storm of opportunities for smaller intermediaries and innovators. The $270 million move by Expedia in March this year to take up a minority equity investment in regional leader Decolar.com, giving them access to Decolar’s hotel portfolio in Latin America and giving Decolar access to Expedia’s international hotel supply, is a prime example of the kinds of symbiotic relationships being formed within the industry over the juicy Latin American market. Expedia sees the broader online travel market as being on track for continued consolidation as well – hence their ongoing spending spree that started with the $280 million Travelocity acquisition back in 2013 and subsequent $1.6 billion play to acquire the third largest OTA in North America, Orbitz.

The move by OTA sector leader Expedia (which represents roughly 75 percent of the U.S. online travel market post the Orbitz acquisition) to rapidly expand their footprint in Latin America via the Decolar deal, is a welcome signal to smaller sector innovators focused on the Latin American market like Pure Hospitality Solutions (OTC: PNOW), a developer of proprietary technology, marketing solutions and branding services for hotel operators, condominium owners, and other properties. The announcement by PNOW earlier this month that they joined the National Tourism Center of Costa Rica, giving their digital media-enabled internet booking engine Oveedia access to over 6k hotel lodging and vacation properties throughout the country, is the latest in a series of efforts by the company to capture market share in this much sought after region.

The Oveedia platform is being designed to provide hotels, resorts and vacation properties with a comprehensive means of managing and listing their portfolio of offerings at OTAs, with an internally and externally facing online booking and management system that is specifically geared towards the Central America-Caribbean market. The aforementioned National Tourism Center of Costa Rica and CANATUR (Costa Rica’s Chamber of Commerce) deal, which gives PNOW the ability to immediately canvas CANATUR member properties, follows fast on the heels of the company’s having exclusively signed their first property in the region under the Oveedia OTA, the largely underserved Tango Mar Beachfront Boutique Hotel & Villas. Tango Mar is a solid candidate example representing just one out of the 16k plus Central American-Caribbean hotels and vacation rentals which currently may not even be available within the global OTA space.

The Tango Mar announcement also comes just months after the January 2015 alignment by PNOW with global B2B travel marketplace operator Sabre Travel Network, which gave the company access to Sabre’s sprawling affiliate network of over 125k hotel properties, as well as over 400 airlines, 200 tour operators, 50 rail carriers, 16 cruise lines, and more than 25 car rental agencies. Sabre’s massive distribution system, associated traveler-empowering data-rich solutions and mobile-enabled platform, adds mightily to PNOW’s growing presence as a leading Central American-Caribbean focused OTA travel hub, giving the company a more stable footing in the broader travel space. The Sabre integration grants the Oveedia platform a unique opportunity to quickly branch out into new relationships and broaden its service offerings to Sabre’s considerable database of properties, giving the company a solid backdrop to their core focus on the CAC niche.

Pure Hospitality Solutions Inc. (PNOW) – Focusing on Growth and Value

April 23, 2015

Pure Hospitality Solutions provides branding services, marketing solutions and proprietary technology to hotel and resort operators and condominium owners.

The company’s vision has been:

• To build competitive operations in the areas of online marketing and hotel internet booking engine services;
• To focus on hotel branding; and
• To own, operate and, in some occasions, develop boutique hotels under the new “by PURE” brand.

In March 2015, Pure revealed its intention to adjust strategy in order to advance shareholder interest and its overall future. Recent developments in the online travel arena, such as the Expedia-Orbitz merge and Google’s entry into the space, have made the case that Pure’s Oveedia has significant potential value as a region-specific, online travel systems platform, far beyond that of the real estate the company pursued in 2014 or that it could possibly acquire in 2015. Consequently, Pure is going full force after this opportunity.

The company’s prime focus now is on developing a technology-driven company while dropping any capital intensive assets offering a smaller return on investment proposition than the very lucrative opportunity found in Oveedia’s market. Presently, Pure’s real estate commitments amount to over $300K a year. These are costs that shareholders may eventually have to pay for, with minimal short-term benefit. In divesting these assets now and halting future real estate acquisitions, Pure can truly focus on its hotel branding and technology arms while protecting the health of its stock. It can also speed up the launch of a disruptive online travel booking platform that is capable of producing millions of dollars in income and capital valuation. Projections released to private investment groups show Oveedia valuations topping $40M relatively soon after the platform’s launch.

How Pure Hospitality Solutions, Inc. (PNOW) is Fast-Tracking the Oveedia Roll-Out

April 16, 2015

Pure Hospitality Solutions provides proprietary technology, marketing solutions, infrastructure and branding services to hotel operators. The company’s soon-to-be-launched, fully customizable Oveedia platform is an online travel agency (OTA) designed to help hotel operators increase hotel bookings and revenues.

Oveedia enables hotel operators to build relationships with their customers by offering engaging online virtual tours of their facility and showcase the special features of their facility such as spas, well-kempt grounds, tours and activities, in-room amenities and more.

In essence, Oveedia is a round-the-clock hotel marketing platform that offers online booking, secure payment options, ratings and reviews and more. PURE’s Oveedia is aimed at consumers looking to travel to Costa Rica or any other part of Central America and the Latin countries of the Caribbean.

The company recently joined the National Tourism Center of Costa Rica which immediately expanded PURE’s reach to approximately 6,000 hotel lodging and vacation properties throughout the country. CANATUR, another name for Costa Rica’s Chamber of Commerce, is a powerful means through which PURE can fast-track the roll-out of the Oveedia platform.

As a member of the National Tourism Center of Costa Rica, PURE “can begin to immediately canvas those properties that are currently members of CANATUR; meeting our pre-launch goals,” PURE CEO Melvin Pereira explained in a recent statement.

Market experts forecast that Latin America’s online travel sales will reach between $29 billion and $34 billion in 2015-2016, and PURE isn’t wasting any time getting its foot in the door to capture its share of the market.

Ahead of its official launch, Oveedia in March signed its first property, the Tango Mar Beachfront Boutique Hotel & Villas. PURE said the “unsolicited exhibition of interest” triggered a number of correspondences and inquiries from hoteliers throughout the region, which suggests rapid growth once the company is fully active in the Latin American market.

“Tango Mar has sparked a major movement for refuge on Oveedia’s travel hub for this region’s [Central American & Caribbean] underserved hoteliers like Tango Mar,” Pereira said in an earlier statement. “Now that we officially have the first property exclusively under the Oveedia OTA, PURE’s initial order of business – in this instance – will be to introduce new travelers to the beauty of Tango Mar and all of its amazing amenities … Next, will be to do the same for the rest of the region. So, work continues steadily to ensure a timely launch of Oveedia.”

Pure Hospitality Solutions, Inc. (PNOW) to Leverage National Tourism Center of Costa Rica’s Access Onramp

April 8, 2015

Pure Hospitality Solutions announced today that the company has joined the National Tourism Center of Costa Rica which will give the company the ability to market and expand the reach of Oveedia and gain access to approximately 6,000 properties within the country.

After PURE signed Tango Mar Beachfront Boutique Hotel & Villas, it becomes clear that the National Tourism Center of Costa Rica will provide PURE critical access to the market that it did not previously have. When one considers the 6,000 hotels and vacation properties located within Costa Rica, gaining access to these locations would have been an uphill climb for Oveedia by itself. Now, as a member of the National Tourism Center of Costa Rica, Melvin Pereira, President and CEO of Pure Hospitality Solutions stated, “we can begin to immediately canvas those properties that are currently members of CANATUR; meeting our pre-launch goals.”

Mr. Pereira also noted, “CANATUR, better known as Costa Rica’s Chamber of Commerce, is one of the best and most efficient ways to accelerate the rollout of the Oveedia platform throughout the country. Much like the United States’ Chamber of Commerce, CANATUR affords Costa Rican business owners, the ability to meet, network, and advocate on behalf of the country’s business community. CANATUR represents over 600 potential Oveedia customers, which we have begun discussing favored approaches to introducing Oveedia.”

The benefits of an association with CANATUR are competitively unique within Costa Rica. Its membership offers national support and security along with public and private representation. Additionally, membership within this chamber points to a company’s resolve to be legally constituted and credible.

Mr. Pereira summarized, “We joined this organization, not only to show that we are a real and viable business that is growing quickly, but to facilitate national and international networking. We are building an OTA specifically for the Central American and Caribbean region and now have a powerful national ally who shares in part of our vision… to increase both tourism and the economic strength of Costa Rica, while continuing to secure a piece of Latin America’s expected 2015/16 online travel sales of $29 Billion and $34 Billion.”

PURE provides proprietary technology, marketing solutions and branding services to hotel operators and condominium owners. The company’s vision is to build competitive operations in the areas of online marketing and hotel internet booking engine services, hotel branding and own, operate and from time to time develop boutique hotels under the new, “by PURE” brand.

Pure Hospitality Solutions, Inc. (PNOW) on Course as Planned with Oveedia’s Tango Mar Deal

April 6, 2015

Pure Hospitality Solutions, after recently announcing that Oveedia signed Tango Mar Beachfront Boutique Hotel & Villas, is demonstrating the type of action that delivers momentum on its business strategy for the Central American-Caribbean region specific OTA. The Oveedia deal starts the process of securing Pure Hospitality Solution’s share of Latin America’s online travel sales with an approximate $32 Billion market potential according to independent marketing research company, eMarketer. Melvin Pereira, President and CEO of Pure Hospitality Solutions commented, “It also evidences that Oveedia is already being primed as the region’s OTA, even pre-launch.”

Mr. Pereira added, “Over 16,000 Central American-Caribbean hotels and vacation rentals, such as Tango Mar, may not readily be available on all known, global OTAs. Yet, interestingly enough, Barclays Capital forecasted that Latin America will lead the world in online travel sales growth through 2016. eMarketer had previously estimated that inside of the past 24 months, there would be more than 300 million internet users across Latin America – dwarfing the number of internet users in both North America and Europe for the first time. Tango Mar has sparked a major movement for refuge on Oveedia’s travel hub for this region’s underserved hoteliers like Tango Mar.

With Oveedia’s first deal, PURE’s management has received overtures from hotel operators in the region indicating they too are interested to join this promising platform.

Mr. Pereira summarized by saying, “Tango Mar was an unsolicited exhibition of interest. It came prior to a formal marketing effort. So, atop of the massive database of properties the Sabre integration will bring, we can clearly see that our primary plan to emerge as a leading OTA travel hub in the Central American-Caribbean region, generating a significant flow of sales over the next 18 months, is certainly viable. Based on expert summaries, estimates and financial indicators… Oveedia’s success is very achievable.”

PURE provides its own technology, marketing solutions and branding services to hotel operators and condo owners. PNOW’s business model is built for the purpose of scaling operations in the areas of online marketing and hotel internet booking engine services, hotel branding and to operate and develop high-end hotels under the new, brand now known as “by PURE.”

Pure Hospitality Solutions, Inc. (PNOW) Signs First Property to Oveedia Platform

March 31, 2015

Pure Hospitality Solutions excitedly announced that Oveedia, the company’s developing internet-based travel website and booking engine, signed its first property Tango Mar Beachfront Boutique Hotel & Villas as part of its ambitious strategy to grow as a Central American-Caribbean region specific online travel agency (OTA).

This accomplishment marks the beginning of Pure Hospitality Solution’s steps forward to secure part of Latin America’s expected 2015 and 2016 online travel sales of $29 Billion and $34 Billion, respectively – according to eMarketer, which referenced economic stats published by Barclays Capital. “It also evidences that Oveedia is already being primed as the region’s OTA, even pre-launch,” stated Melvin Pereira, President and CEO of Pure Hospitality Solutions

Mr. Pereira added, “Over 16,000 Central American-Caribbean hotels and vacation rentals, such as Tango Mar, may not readily be available on all known, global OTAs. Yet, interestingly enough, Barclays Capital forecasted that Latin America will lead the world in online travel sales growth through 2016. eMarketer had previously estimated that inside of the past 24 months, there would be more than 300 million internet users across Latin America – dwarfing the number of internet users in both North America and Europe for the first time.”

“But here is the rub. The general phrase ‘Latin America’ may not wholly encompass all of the countries of Central America or the Latin speaking countries of the Caribbean; certainly not Cuba, for obvious reasons. However, it is this part of the ‘Americas’, which is rapidly growing with a heavy interest in tourism, real estate development and capital injections for economic growth in service and industry. As Oveedia signs its first property, PURE is proving to be well positioned, to be amongst the first to leverage this region’s accelerated growth.”

Mr. Pereira continued, “Tango Mar has sparked a major movement for refuge on Oveedia’s travel hub for this region’s [Central American & Caribbean] underserved hoteliers like Tango Mar.

According to the press release, PURE’s management has received a number of correspondences from hoteliers throughout the region. It was indicated that there are several additional potential sign-ons, as other lodging properties in the region are now preparing to join the Oveedia platform.

Mr. Pereira concluded, “Tango Mar was an unsolicited exhibition of interest.

Pure Hospitality Solutions, Inc. (PNOW) to Advance Photo Share Software with Softon

March 26, 2015

Today before the opening bell, Pure Hospitality Solutions announced the retention of Softon ITG to hasten the completion of the Photo Share Software, which is expected to be released with this year’s initial rollout of Oveedia. Softon ITG will be part of the team responsible for upgrading and integrating the spotting photo share software, last valued at $1 million, into the latest technology development for Oveedia.

According to official press release, Softon ITG has produced more than 150 global web and mobile projects for both major international brands and smaller companies.

“We’re quite pleased to be working with the talented team at Softon ITG,” commented Melvin Pereira, President and CEO of Pure Hospitality Solutions. “Their participation will ensure a quality platform build and seamless integration of our ‘spotting’ photo share software into the Oveedia platform. Our goal to become the primary travel hub for Central America and the Caribbean, offering the best ‘one stop travel’ mobile online booking platform in the region, is now one step closer.”

“Pure’s photo share software is a very creative retention component for an OTA and is really going to be a rather fun project for us,” stated Marco Tonti, CEO of Softon ITG. “We love the idea and clearly see the vast potential, both socially and economically, that PURE has recognized. After reviewing all the necessary requirements, we have identified the best plan of action to accelerate the completion of the photo share software development and its immediate integration into the Oveedia platform. We are looking forward to working with PURE on this project.”

Pereira added, “All the pieces of the puzzle are starting to fall perfectly into place. Oveedia’s development is progressing nicely and now our photo share software component for ‘spotters’ is being coded for integration. We’ve got some very exciting announcements to follow and we’re very happy to share them with all of our shareholders.”

Pure Hospitality Solutions, Inc. (PNOW) Prepares to Launch Oveedia to Serve Growing Latin American Tourism Market

March 25, 2015

While the ‘Big Four’ (Expedia, Priceline, Orbitz and Travelocity), as well as Google, continue to cannibalize one another for survival in the extremely competitive United States Online Travel Agency (OTA) industry, Pure Hospitality Solutions, Inc. (OTC: PNOW), through its Oveedia booking platform, has turned its attention to one of the fastest growing OTA markets on the planet: Latin America.

According to extensive market research completed by PURE, the Latin American tourism market is set for a major boom in the coming years as age old tensions between the United States and Cuba appear to be on the decline. With five Central American and Caribbean nations offering substantially lower cost of living estimates than tourism hotbed Costa Rica, all signs point to increased interest in the area’s tropical destinations in the short term.

Nicaragua, for example, experienced a 9 percent increase in tourism during the first five months of 2013, far exceeding the global tourism growth numbers, which were recorded at 5 percent, according to Central America Data. The opportunity to develop a substantial foothold in this growing tourism market has PURE’s executives and shareholders excited for the launch of Oveedia, which is currently scheduled for later this year.

In addition to its growing, relatively untapped market potential, Oveedia is expected to serve customers in new ways that other big name OTAs simply can’t. A recent press release outlined the details for a unique photo sharing component designed to increase inherent value to visitors while simultaneously boosting initial valuations of the Central America-Caribbean OTA.

“[I]t’s all about traffic,” stated Melvin Pereira, President and CEO of PURE. “[T]his move is to greatly increase the appeal and value proposition of the Oveedia online hospitality booking platform.”

The company’s plan to differentiate itself from competitors could prove to be extremely beneficial by providing additional revenue streams for both the company and photographers. Through the continued development of its OTA service, PURE is positioning Oveedia as a ‘must have’ for existing OTAs, which could open the door for a profitable acquisition down the road.

Pure Hospitality Solutions, Inc. (PNOW) Oveedia Platform Shaping Up to Turn Heads at Big Online Travel Players like Expedia & Google

March 20, 2015

Pure Hospitality Solutions continues to advance their digital media platform Oveedia, which is designed as a region-specific OTA (online travel agency) for the roughly $6 billion plus Central America-Caribbean tourism market. Recent projections made in conjunction with the company’s development partners indicate that the inclusion of a new traffic-generating, photo sharing component, has upped the platform’s valuation from the previously announced $40 million figure by several million. Given the success of the company’s original build of their PHP-based and MySQL database-driven booking engine, FROL (Friendly Reservations Online), which tested well among the 118 bed and breakfast, hotel and condo properties benchmarked throughout the Costa Rica, Panama, Nicaragua, Sint Maarten, and domestic U.S. markets, confidence is high that Oveedia can emerge as the premier OTA for the Central America-Caribbean region.

Integration of a picture sharing component into the already well-established and database-driven site’s framework will be focused on putting together a vast array of high-quality and professional photos of hotels, which are often taken by consumers and enthusiasts. This component will crowd source traffic-generating content from photo enthusiasts and establish a searchable smorgasbord of gorgeous images, enticing travelers through the Oveedia booking platform to visit one of the many locations featured in the images. This move allowing end users to upload images directly to the platform will also help to foster an online community, providing a centralized outlet for travel and hotel photo taking enthusiasts. The component will help to further established the PURE brand presence, while also enabling the company’s boots-on-the-ground sales team members to build out more attractive, detailed and fleshed-out travel packages, complete with timely images of a variety of locales and hotel accommodations.

Embracing a social media aspect for the Oveedia platform’s overall design is a brilliant move by the company to engage consumers and shows how versatile the modular framework of their OTA technology is. Technology similar to their hotel spotting component has already been bought up for millions of dollars by the likes of online media property developer Demand Media (NYSE: DMD), which specializes in providing content solutions and marketplace platforms. Moreover, sourced image sites like Airliners.net, which is powered by user submitted images of a wide variety of aircraft, gets over 7 million user per month and is linked to by over 5k other sites, have also sold for millions, clearly showing investors the value already packed into Oveedia’s still-evolving platform architecture.

The company already has the photo spotting and sharing technology, as well as the core of the Oveedia platform’s engine, and the roll out this year of the platform should make waves in a rapidly consolidating OTA market dominated by a tiny handful of players like Expedia (NASDAQ: EXPE), Priceline (NASDAQ: PCLN) and now even Google (NASDAQ: GOOGL), which has officially thrown its hat into the ring with the launch of their Google Flights trip-planning framework. Oveedia is not just another alternative platform in the crowd either, it is clearly shaping up to be a highly unique execution with the logistical muscle, via on-ground sales personnel, to make it a serious contender, and it will likely become an extremely attractive buyout target for the larger sector operators as well.

Pure Hospitality Solutions, Inc. (PNOW): Integrated Photo Sharing Platform Will Boost Oveedia Valuation by Millions

March 13, 2015

Pure Hospitality Solutions is adding a unique photo sharing component into its online booking program, Oveedia, a move the company anticipates will increase initial valuations of the Central America-Caribbean online travel agency (OTA) by several million dollars upon launch.

The integration is one of two planned components Pure will use to increase site traffic and visitor engagement time and optimize data sources that none of the ‘Big Four’ OTAs, Expedia, Priceline, Orbitz and Travelocity, currently use.

“Traffic, traffic, traffic! The photo share component that Oveedia will incorporate is called ‘Spotting,’ and companies like Demand Media have paid millions of dollars to acquire these types of platforms because it’s all about traffic,” Melvin Pereira, president and CEO of Pure, stated in the news release.

Pure’s ‘Hotel Spotting’ platform will be a database of high-quality pictures of hotels, captured by ‘spotting’ enthusiasts, largely for the benefit and enjoyment of travelers, while serving a broader corporate purpose.

“This will provide us with additional detailed data, at a very minimal cost to procure,” Pereira explains. “It will also position our on-ground sales team to more efficiently create package offerings for prospective member hotels; accelerating Oveedia’s growth. The best part is, our photo share will provide an additional revenue source for both PURE and the photographer, while offering an interactive social media platform for travelers/visitors to enjoy … Fundamentally … this move is to greatly increase the appeal and value proposition of the Oveedia online hospitality booking platform.”

The CEO points to what he calls a cannibalization in the U.S. online booking industry, noting the importance of Oveedia’s position as a Central American OTA.

“U.S. online travel is beginning to become a rough environment,” he said. “The Big Four have even begun to cannibalize one another for U.S. survival; particularly as Google aggressively encroaches the space. In contrast, Latin American online travel sales are beginning to outpace the U.S. According to Barclays Capital, Latin America will lead all world regions in online travel sales growth. With opportunities opening up in Cuba to boot – almost monthly, Central American online travel needs will soon become a pressing matter for any major OTA player, from any part of the world.”

Pereira also explains how the integration plays into the company’s acquisition intentions.

“Pure isn’t simply looking to be a convenient ‘pick up’ for the Expedia types, but rather a ‘must have’ by all, because of ‘our uniqueness and on-ground position,’” he said. “Airliners.net sold for millions of dollars. Oveedia will be one of the first OTA’s to incorporate this strategy. We already possess the photo spotting technology and expect to roll it out with this year’s launch of Oveedia. Shareholders should expect big things to happen at Pure! Big things. Bigger valuations.”
