Simulated Environment Concepts, Inc. (SMEV) Offers Hidden SpaCapsule Features

September 6, 2011

SpaCapsule, from SE Concepts, is considered the top-of-the-line when it comes to automated water massage systems currently on the market. SpaCapsule’s innovative top-down massage approach allows the muscles to decompress, far better simulating the traditional massage experience offered by competing systems where the massage comes from underneath. It’s one of the clear indicators that SpaCapsule, unlike other water massage products, was designed by doctors, professionals who are still the principals in the company.

However, in addition to the unique waterjet massage system, and SpaCapsule’s incorporated audio and visual components, there are a number of other supporting features which, though less well known, are key differentiators in the marketplace, and help explain why an increasing number of fitness chains and healthcare professionals around the world choose SpaCapsule over all the other offerings.

• SpaCapsule’s Dual-Barrier design provides multiple benefits. The dual lining between the system’s 28 powerful water jets guarantees that no moisture will escape, allowing the user to remain fully clothed. The barrier design also effectively hides the person’s body from view, which has been especially valuable to marketing in the Middle East, where privacy and modesty are culturally important. The barrier also contributes to the long term life and low maintenance of SpaCapsule, by eliminating any potential water leakage that might damage the shell, while greatly reducing the need for refilling.

• SpaCapsule’s Oxygen Therapy component enhances the system’s already powerful ability to reduce stress, while contributing to greater energy and alertness. It also helps to increase metabolism, which, in conjunction with the stimulating effect of the water jets, boosts the body’s successful processing of fat and toxins.

• SpaCapsule’s Essential Oil Aromatherapy system has a powerful effect on the brain, providing both a relaxing and stimulating effect conducive to overall health. The fully integrated system uses essential oils derived from flowers, leaves, roots, and other carefully selected plant products.

• iPod/iPhone Connectivity lets the user hook up their own devices to SpaCapsule’s audio/video equipment, providing additional customization of the media experience.

Simulated Environment Concepts (SMEV) Translates User Benefits into Market Benefits

August 29, 2011

The list of benefits associated with SpaCapsule, the flagship automated water massage system by SE Concepts, determines the product’s markets. The range of benefits is the principal reason for the market diversity enjoyed by SpaCapsule.

SpaCapsule’s primary benefits include business as well as end-user advantages.

• Stress Relief
• Pain Control
• Cellulite Reduction
• Weight Loss
• Muscle Toning
• Lower Blood Pressure
• Circulation Enhancement
• Rehabilitation Augmentation
• Ease of Setup and Operation
• Self Contained
• Consistency of Performance
• Quick Return On Investment
• Comprehensive System Support

The many user benefits translate into market benefits, offering multiple revenue sources. The value potential inherent in just the rehabilitation, weight loss, and pain management markets is substantial, especially when considering that the company continues to build its worldwide network of contacts and partnerships.

For example, there are millions of people in the U.S. and around the world that suffer from fibromyalgia, where continuous and widespread musculoskeletal pain deeply affects the quality of life of sufferers. There is no known cure for the disease, and the focus remains on symptom mitigation, an area where SpaCapsule could play a significant role.

On an even greater scale, the global weight and cellulite reduction market is now estimated to be over $500 billion. Involving no physical exercise, and no medications, SpaCapsule represents one of the most unique approaches to this market, which helps explain its growing popularity in fitness centers and day spas.

SE Concepts anticipates ongoing royalty streams from co-branding, franchising, and business customers. The company has already established a presence in doctors’ offices, hotels, wellness centers, hospitals, airports, resorts, and other locations, and each of these individual client lists will continue to expand.

Simulated Environment Concepts, Inc. (SMEV) Saves Labor

August 23, 2011

According to a recent report from Grass Roots Research and Distribution, the market case for Simulated Environment Concepts is based partly on the company’s ability to offer a unique combination of labor-saving benefits to a labor-intensive sector.

SE Concepts, makers of SpaCapsule, an automated and self-contained water massage and sensory stimulation system, has two U.S. patents and one Japanese patent for SpaCapsule, and is seeking a third U.S. patent to further protect its one-of-a-kind system. SpaCapsule provides an advanced computer-controlled user experience, designed by doctors to help relieve stress and pains, and stimulate circulation, both for therapeutic and recreational application. SpaCapsule has now been independently shown to also help with weight loss and cellulite reduction, a major development.

The markets and facilities already being successfully targeted around the world include the following:

• Physicians
• Hotels
• Colleges
• Chiropractors
• Fitness Centers
• Physical Therapy
• Massage/Wellness Centers
• Hospitals
• Bowling Centers
• Weight Treatment
• Airports

SpaCapsule has also been purchased by corporations, for employees, and private individuals for pain relief and relaxation. They are now even used by Relaxation Station in a mobile environment, where SpaCapsule is brought in for special events.

Many of these environments, such as physical therapy centers and hospitals, are labor intensive, and also face increasing budget constraints. SpaCapsule represents a unique way to reduce skilled labor costs, while still providing a high level of needed services.

Through the use of channel partners, SE Concepts has leveraged its marketing efforts, establishing potentially long-lasting revenue producing relationships with fitness chains and distributors. In addition, as the company reduces unit production and material costs through increased efficiencies, margins will continue to grow.

Grass Roots Research believes that revenues for the company could grow from $2.5 million in 2012 to $30.3 million in 2016.

Simulated Environment Concepts, Inc. (SMEV) Adds to Distribution Network; Expands in Canadian Market

August 16, 2011

Simulated Environment Concepts, Inc., the manufacturer and developer of medical, aesthetic, weight loss, wellness, and slimming equipment, announced before the opening bell today that it has increased market penetration in Canada with the installation of its flagship product at the Relaxation Station.

“This particular installation did more than simply increase our distribution throughout a majority of the Canadian Provinces,” emphasized Allen Licht, Chief Operating Officer of Simulated Environment Concepts (SE Concepts). “It further demonstrates just how immensely diverse our market really is, as well as the lengths and creative methods our customers will use, to provide the benefits of SpaCapsule’s technology.”

A mobile service that transports the SpaCapsule around Canada’s Capital, in a “decked out” trailer, the Relaxation Station is used at corporate and special events, private parties, tournaments, sporting events, fitness facilities, fairs, festivals, retirement living facilities and a whole host of other locations. “It’s basically a SpaCapsule on wheels,” said Mr. Licht

“Everyone is loving the SpaCapsule,” commented Dallas Prokopetz, owner of Relaxation Station in Ottawa. “The response to the Relaxation Station concept has been overwhelming and we may consider trade marking… perhaps even franchising someday… which would also mean the need for more SpaCapsules,” concluded Ms. Prokopetz.

Over the past couple years, SE Concepts has seen its distribution outlet increase, enjoying the positive response as many more markets begin adopting the SpaCapsule. However, management was not expecting a vendor to put the SpaCapsule on wheels — transporting it to a multitude of destinations, allowing for a much wider customer base to become familiar with the product.

Mr. Licht concluded, “From a marketing perspective, to have a moving billboard roaming Ottawa Canada puts the SpaCapsule in plain view. So, if you didn’t know us before… you know us now. And when you see the Relaxation Station driving by, even if you are unfamiliar with the concept, the name ‘Relaxation Station’ along with the picture of the SpaCapsule will leave a lasting impression; and that’s how sales are made. We hope to see Relaxation Stations all over Canada and the U.S. someday because everyone deserves to enjoy a SpaCapsule massage.”

Simulated Environment Concepts, Inc. (SMEV) Recent Interview Discusses Acquisition/Merger Possibilities and Share Reduction

August 2, 2011

When SE Concepts, makers of the SpaCapsule self-contained water massage and sensory stimulation system, recently issued a press release indicating that they were going to reduce the number of authorized shares, also suggesting that there may be a merger/acquisition in the works at some point, it generated a lot of questions and interest on the part of investors. As a result, Allen Licht, the company’s COO, sat down with to clarify and discuss the news.

The first thing addressed was the share reduction, which some people had mistaken for a reverse stock split, which it is not. Authorized shares represent the maximum number of shares that a company is formally authorized to issue, a number usually far greater than the number of shares actually issued. The remaining un-issued shares can be used for stock options or other purposes. It’s a move that has been requested by shareholders, and is part of an overall plan to improve the financial presence of the company.

Mr. Licht also verified that the company is currently in the preliminary stages of negotiating some sort of acquisition or merger, though he was not providing details at this point. He indicated that the possibility arose from the company’s well-received attendance at the NEAA conference in New York in June, where senior investors clearly recognized the potential of the SpaCapsule market.

Simulated Environment Concepts, Inc. (SMEV) Begins Reducing Authorized Shares

July 26, 2011

Simulated Environment Concepts, Inc., the manufacturer and developer of medical, aesthetic, weight loss, wellness, and slimming equipment, announced that it has officially began the first phase of the recently announced authorized share reduction plan. Authorized shares have now been reduced by two billion shares with the second phase targeting an additional 4 billion shares.

Dr. Ella Frenkel, President, CEO and Co-Founder of Simulated Environment Concepts (SE Concepts) stated, “The first phase of our plan provided room to make an initial reduction of nearly 20% in authorized shares. As we continue rolling through the auditing processes to completion, we will be better positioned to identify how many additional shares can be eliminated from the authorized share count within the second phase of our plan.”

In order to achieve the next phase of reduction, it is assumed that a further decrease in Directors’ equity holdings will be required. During the current phase, the reduction in Preferred Share holdings from Directors permitted elimination of authorized common stock.

According to today’s release, it is anticipated that SE Concepts will eventually reduce its authorized share count to roughly three billion shares. It is also expected that the audit will reach completion, the company will secure significant financing and that the company will be engaged in the completion of a possible merger/acquisition by the time its target authorized share amount is achieved.

Dr. Frenkel concluded, “We are headed in the right direction, taking every necessary step to strengthen our company’s perception among investors and shareholders, and to strengthen our actual market position.”

Simulated Environment Concepts, Inc. (SMEV) Announces Plan to Reduce Authorized Shares

July 21, 2011

Simulated Environment Concepts, the manufacturer and developer of medical, aesthetic, weight loss, wellness, and slimming equipment, this morning announced that it will be seeking to reduce its authorized shares by the end of this month.

Dr. Ella Frenkel, President, CEO and Co-Founder of Simulated Environment Concepts (SE Concepts) commented, “I am a vested shareholder just as many of our investors. Where there is market dilution, I hear about it from our shareholders. When there is a decrease in share value, it affects me personally as well, and where necessary action must be taken to override current perception, I will take the appropriate measures as circumstance permits and do so to the best of my ability. In this instance, we are responding to our shareholders and we are beginning to initiate a multiphase plan to reduce the current Authorized Share amount.”

Along with other initiatives, reducing the authorized shares was one of the tasks to be addressed during the last shareholder conference call. In the press release it was indicated that the intent is to bring the authorized share amount to the low 10 digits, which will have to be accomplished in phases. The reduction in authorized shares is another testament of Simulated Environment Concepts (SE Concepts) promises coming to fruition.

Allen Licht, Chief Operating Officer of SE Concepts, added, “As we are working through the data for the audit, we’ve been able to identify several reasonable methods of protecting company’s interest while also further securing the interest of fellow investors and shareholders. As we’re able to put those protections into place, we can continue reducing the authorized shares responsibly, one step at a time.”

It is anticipated that if the company is successful in securing a significant investment from current suitors, not only will the company further reduce authorized shares, but it will also take measures to greatly strengthen corporate structure and prepare itself to acquire other similar business and/or patents.

Dr. Frenkel concluded, “While we cannot always satisfy every request of each individual shareholder, we do listen, and we encourage our fellow shareholders to be in communication with us through email, Facebook, Twitter and of course our corporate blog. We have one goal and that is to build a strong and profitable company. We will do this by producing and selling globally successful products like the SpaCapsule and consciously making decisions that we hope will continue to positively impact and strengthen shareholder value.”

July 20, 2011

Simulated Environment Concepts, the manufacturer and developer of medical, aesthetic, weight loss, wellness, and slimming equipment, today announced that it has begun preparing for a major branding initiative to more aggressively market, promote and sell its flagship product, SpaCapsule, within the United States.

“Our International market is continuously growing due to the distributorships we’ve successfully been able to develop and will continue to develop,” stated Allen Licht , Chief Operating Officer of Simulated Environment Concepts (SE Concepts).”However, with increasing interest domestically coming from physical therapy facilities, corporations offering ‘wellness’ centers and break rooms to employees, retailers, weight loss and fitness franchises, we want to do everything possible to assist our customers in educating users and driving traffic to their locations.”

Management indicated one area where the company’s new initiative will become most evident is in the form of product placement and celebrity endorsement. The company is expecting to make a few major appearances on television, featured films, and music videos throughout the next year.

Mr. Licht concluded, “Given our schedule for certain ‘media rich’ year-end events, we expect everything to soon be in place to begin one of the most aggressive media pushes this company has yet to see.”

Simulated Environment Concepts (SMEV) Prospects Recognized by Grass Roots Research Report

July 18, 2011

When Grass Roots Research, an arm of Cohen Independent Research, recently issued their analyst report on SE Concepts, makers of the SpaCapsule automated massage and sensory stimulation system, it did a thorough job of detailing the company’s strengths, but also laid out major differences between the company and a primary competitor.

The company’s strengths are centered around the doctor-led management team and scalable business model, as well as SpaCapsule’s multi-market appeal. SpaCapsule offers users a relaxing and de-stressing clothes-on water massage, combined with video, audio, and even aroma stimulation. Its recreational appeal is obvious, but SpaCapsule, designed by doctors, has been shown to also offer pain relief, toning, and even weight-loss benefits. As a result, SpaCapsule has managed to penetrate multiple overlapping markets, and this was highlighted by the report.

• Physical Therapy: This represents a $10 billion dollar market in the U.S. alone.
• Weight Loss: Treatment for obesity represents $147 billion dollars in domestic healthcare cost annually, with well over 3,000 facilities dedicated to offering services for weight control.
• Fitness Centers: Fitness centers account for nearly $15 billion dollars in domestic revenues, with nearly 25,000 such centers across the country.
• Massage Therapy: This is an industry estimated at $16–$20 billion in 2009, with franchises like Zen Massage Center and Massage Green rapidly expanding to satisfy demand.
• Franchise Market (massage therapy): Massage therapy centers like Massage Envy have over 600 locations in 42 states, totaling hundreds of millions of dollars in value.

But the report also looks at what some consider to be SpaCapsule’s main competition, at least in the toning and cellulite reduction market. VelaShapeTM is an FDA cleared device that, according to its website, contours, shapes, and slims the body by reducing cellulite and firming problem areas. The system is supposedly used by over 10,000 patients daily on a worldwide basis, helping to give Syneron Medical, makers of VeleShape, a market cap of close to $500 million. It gives a better idea of the size of at least one of the available markets, all the more important when you consider that VeleShape, a handheld device that uses a combination of radio frequency and infrared light and mechanical massage, is seemingly more effective when administered by another person. In addition, VeleShape has less appeal to the other markets that represent a significant part of SpaCapsule’s potential.

SE Concepts concludes that, with expected total sales over the next four years topping $27 million, the longer term potential of generating $20 million in annual sales now appears to be a definite possibility.

Simulated Environment Concepts, Inc. (SMEV) Flagship Product Now Utilized in Neuroxcel’s C.A.S.T. Program

July 12, 2011

Simulated Environment Concepts, the manufacturer and developer of medical, aesthetic, weight loss, wellness, and slimming equipment, announced this morning that the SpaCapsule has been integrated into Neuroxcel’s Comprehensive Activity-Based Strength Training program (C.A. S.T.) to assist with the rehabilitation of patients who have experienced Spinal Cord Injury (SCI), Strokes or other neurological disorders.

Dr. Ella Frenkel, President, CEO and Co-Founder of Simulated Environment Concepts (SE Concepts), commented, “This is just another testament to the dynamic properties of the SpaCapsule and the spectacular growth potential of our company. For our technology to prove invaluable in such a tedious and sensitive therapy, speaks volume to the dedication our team has committed to the development of this product; ultimately for the overall health and well being of others.”

SE Concepts provided the particulars of this announcement on its corporate blog ( This latest development further validates the trending surge in the medical use of the SpaCapsule globally as more physicians and health professionals show interest in incorporating the equipment into rehabilitation and other physical therapy practices. Neuroxcel, a unique state-of-the-art strength training facility offering various levels of specialized neuro-recovery therapy, incorporates robotic gait strengthening, repetitive treadmill stepping, weight bearing, and among other things, the SpaCapsule – as part of the C.A.S.T. program.

Dr. Ilya Spivak, Marketing Director and Co-Founder of SE Concepts, stated, “The continued embrace from the medical community further substantiates that a portion of our ultimate value will likely come from our being partially identified as a healthcare stock. These types of companies are generally considered recession proof. Which if we fell into this category, it could partly be the reason we’ve been in continued operation for over 10 years. However, regardless of sector, there is no doubt in my mind that wherever in the world there is a person who has pain, wishes to lose weight or simply wants to relax, the SpaCapsule will soon be available at a location near them.”

The Medical Appliances & Equipment Industry (a segment of the healthcare industry), under which SE Concepts could be categorized, currently has a market cap of nearly $1 trillion. Together with all of the targeted vertical markets (Physical Therapy, Weight Loss, Fitness, Massage Therapy Franchises, Corporate Relaxation, etc.), SE Concepts has a wide and solid foundation for ongoing growth.

Simulated Environment Concepts, Inc. (SMEV) Announces Delivery of First Order to Elements Diet and Fitness

June 24, 2011

Simulated Environment Concepts, the manufacturer and developer of SpaCapsule, announced this morning that it has made the first delivery of the SpaCapsule to Elements Diet and Fitness, a women’s health and fitness center, in step with the co-branding preferred vendor’s agreement recently executed between the two companies. According to the press release, SpaCapsule has become the massage and slimming equipment of choice for the franchise, leading to expectations that the company will see an almost immediate increase in short term sales by fulfilling anticipated oncoming orders from the growing women’s health club and weight loss center.

Dr. Ilya Spivak, marketing director and co-founder, stated, “Other women’s fitness franchises I’m sure have now taken notice of the SpaCapsule. Why? Because the undisputable weight loss and cellulite reduction benefits the SpaCapsule offers, may quite possibly and ultimately, translate into a major competitive equalizer for a smaller but quickly growing woman’s health and fitness franchise such as Elements Diet and Fitness. It would not be surprising to see a regional women’s only gyms such as Lucille Roberts, or even an international women fitness franchise such as Curves, add the SpaCapsule to their fitness regimens.”

With locations found across the U.S. as well as Mexico and Canada, the preferred vendor agreement entitles Elements Diet and Fitness to place SpaCapsule units in each of their existing centers as well as all future locations. Management indicated that with the added ability to upsell services, Elements can now create an additional revenue stream for franchisees and offer added benefits to customers.

Simulated Environment Concepts has already proven interest within the fitness center arena multiple times with sales to Lady Fitness-France, BodySmart-Ireland and Elements Diet and Fitness-USA, just to name a few. As interest in its flagship product climbs, Simulated Environment Concepts anticipates being able to significantly capitalize on its aesthetic medical device’s weight loss and cellulite reduction attributes to continue securing vendor agreements globally.

Dr. Spivak concluded, “The Fitness Franchise market overall is comprised of tens of thousands of gyms and fitness centers worldwide. If the question is, ‘can we penetrate the fitness franchise market?’ The answer is, ‘Absolutely, we’ve already begun!”

Simulated Environment Concepts, Inc. (SMEV) Flagship Product Grabs Audience’s Attention at National Eagles and Angels Association New York Meeting

June 22, 2011

Simulated Environment Concepts, the manufacturer and developer of medical, aesthetic, weight loss, wellness, and slimming equipment, announced earlier today that its presentation of the SpaCapsule at the National Eagles and Angels Association’s (NEAA) New York City Chapter meeting at the prestigiously renowned Oak Room (Plaza Hotel) was well received by those who attended.

Allen Licht, Chief Operating Officer of Simulated Environment Concepts, Inc. (SE Concepts), stated, “In all of our years of operation, yesterday, we came away with the understanding that the possibility of receiving the type of capital infusion, in the amount we seek, is possibly in immediate view.”

Those close to the company who attended the NEAA meeting indicated that close to one billion dollars of investment capital applauded for the company’s SpaCapsule, simply after seeing a video promo piece. “Quite honestly, it caught me off guard – throwing me off my presentation a bit – as I’d never expect an applause before my having yet said a word,” stated Mr. Licht.

By networking with financial and political heavy weights on Monday at The Grand Havana Room and lunching with a sea of capital on Tuesday, SE Concepts was able to discuss a variety of opportunities amongst a capable and very interested group. Those discussions covered everything from nationally known preferred vendor relationships, to franchising possibilities, to prospective capital resources, and additional distribution outlets.

Mr. Licht concluded, “This is just the beginning. We intend to be involved with other chapter meetings when requested as we certainly see a future with the NEAA and its leadership; a host of new doors have now been opened. The investment community seems more eager now as they’re coming to recognize the broad reach of the SpaCapsule; the near $20M revenue dollars generated by the company since inception, and the exiting plausibility of SE Concepts seeing upward of $60M dollars within 36 months of full investment. Our time is here.”

Simulated Environment Concepts, Inc.’s (SMEV) SpaCapsule Poised for Breakout as a Massage/Relaxation Vending Unit for Businesses to Attract Customers

June 17, 2011

Simulated Environment Concepts, founded and continually organized towards new technological innovations by physicians Dr. Ella Frenkel and Dr. Ilya Spivak, is powered by some of the greatest engineering/designing minds of the modern era, bringing the sleek lines and technical precision of brands like Mercedes-Benz™ automobiles and Stingray® boats to the crafting of the Company’s flagship SpaCapsule® product, an incredible full spectrum fusion of dry aqua massage and relaxation therapies.

It looks like a virtual reality simulator, or maybe some kind of deep-dive interfacing system used to navigate an intergalactic starship, but the SpaCapsule is really a self-contained relaxation station. The core feature is the dry aqua massage (completely self-contained with no plumbing hookup required) performed by an array of computer controlled pressure jets which elegantly simulate the feeling of an actual massage therapy session with an expert masseuse, all without taking off any clothing and at a fraction of the cost. While receiving the massage a combination of aromatherapy and sophisticated audio visual stimuli help to soothe and/or energize, nurturing the user so they can attain the peak of performance in other activities.

The SpaCapsule is thus readily usable for either personal (home/office) use or as a sort of ultra-modern vending machine. This concept has been emphasized by the designers and the machines have a fully integrated onboard computer system which handles both systems configuration and networking for point of sale or distributed token sales functionality.

Needless to say this idea is making a massive impact upon retail businesses like medical offices, health clubs/gyms, salons and tanning salons, but is also making a significant impact in emerging locations like malls and hotels, which are adopting the system as they see its customer-retention possibilities realized.

When compared with Aqua Massage International (AMI), the SpaCapsule stands out instantly. The SpaCapsule is sleek, lightweight, can be completely customized before delivery and offers a complete package relaxation solution with a much smaller footprint, superior pressure jet systems and computerization (both in terms of control of the jets and in terms of ease of use). Furthermore, because the SpaCapsule was designed to be readily utilized as a retail station, complete with connections for the user to plug in their own peripheral audio/video device (iPod etc.) as an alternative to the sophisticated onboard bundle, it allows for rapid profiles to be used, meaning individual users can tailor and save a custom experience.

The SpaCapsule crushes competitor AMI’s products handedly in the retail space and shows great promise for uptake throughout corporate centers of companies like Google, IBM, Delta Airlines and others who seek to provide such services for maximizing employee productivity.

Simulated Environment Concepts, Inc. (SMEV) Redefines Water Massage

June 10, 2011

The idea of using water pressure to generate a relaxing massage, perhaps even relieving some aches and pains, is not a new one. The use of water as therapy goes back to ancient Greece and Rome, where public baths were combined with massage. But the use of mechanized water jets to create an automated massage is more recent. Today there are a variety of systems using water pressure massage, but a product called SpaCapsule, offered by SE Concepts, goes well beyond anything conceived before.

Unlike any previous systems, SpaCapsule was designed by doctors as a serious engine for individual holistic health. In addition to the most sophisticated clothes-on top-down water massage system anywhere, SpaCapsule integrates audio and visual stimulation, all computer controlled, and even incorporates advanced aroma therapy to create the most comprehensive anti-stress solution on the market. The revolutionary SpaCapsule is now being picked up by spas and health centers around the world as a unique offering for health and lifestyle conscious customers.

Pain relief and stress reduction are powerful marketing tools, but the most significant selling point for SpaCapsule could end up coming from a recently completed independent Dermscan study showing that SpaCapsule use promotes weight and cellulite reduction, a fact that should be a major driver of interest for years to come.

SE Concepts has also gone out of its way to make the complexity of SpaCapsule’s inner-workings virtually invisible to the end user. Everything is computer controlled, resulting in extremely simple setup and operation, all residing in one of the most eye-appealing futuristic system packagings ever designed. The company has also taken steps to make SpaCapsule, a high-end product, easy to buy, through the use of several flexible financing and payment plans. All of this is designed to make SpaCapsule attractive to small businesses as a money-generating augment to their existing operations.

Simulated Environment Concepts, Inc. (SMEV) Offers Expanded Financing Options

June 6, 2011

A lot has been made of the fact that Simulated Environment Concepts, producers of the popular SpaCapsule automated hydro massage and sensory stimulation system, has gone out of its way to make the advanced device ultra-easy to use. This has been a major selling point for professionals and entrepreneurs seeking quick cash flow by selling SpaCapsule services independently or as an augment to existing business. By successfully computerizing and integrating the many sophisticated SpaCapsule functionalities, SE Concepts has created what is essentially a plug-and-play operation, allowing revenue to be generated within hours of SpaCapsule’s delivery.

What has been lost in the wake of all the engineering exposure is the progress the company has made on the financing side, making SpaCapsule easier to purchase or lease than ever before. SE Concepts, which is now selling SpaCapsule all over the world, has put together financing programs both on the national and the international level. As with their engineering advances, the goal is to make SpaCapsule such an easy money generation tool that it’s almost impossible to turn down.

• Commercial Equipment Lease – Vendors can get maximum tax benefits together with a convenient and affordable monthly payment program, including a $1 buyout or a 10% purchase option at the end of a 24-60 month lease term.

Simulated Environment Concepts, Inc. (SMEV) Takes On New Challengers

May 31, 2011

SpaCapsule, the flagship hydro massage and sensory stimulation system from Simulated Environment Concepts, has moved well beyond being marketed as a feel-good automated massage device. As a product designed by doctors, SpaCapsule is increasing in popularity based upon its health benefits. At first the focus was primarily the reduction of aches and pains, together with its anti-stress qualities. Later, results from an independent study by Dermscan showed that SpaCapsule is effective as a tool for weight and cellulite reduction. SE Concepts is even considering formal FDA recognition for SpaCapsule regarding its therapeutic benefits.

By targeting the health market, SE Concepts takes on a new set of competitors, though competitors that approach the market from an admittedly different direction, two of which are shown below.

• Syneron Medical Ltd. (NASDAQ: ELOS) – Syneron and its subsidiaries develop and sell aesthetic medical products for things like hair removal, wrinkle reduction, and skin rejuvenation and treatment. Its products are based upon the combination of radiofrequency energy and light or laser-based energy, and have also been used for the temporary reduction in the appearance of cellulite and thigh circumference, and for various other treatments. The products are sold primarily to physicians and other medical practitioners.
• Cynosure (NASDAQ: CYNO) – Cynosure develops and sells a range of aesthetic treatment systems to the dermatology, plastic surgery, and general medical markets. Its products are based upon light-based energy sources, such as diode lasers and intense pulsed light. The various products are used for hair removal and the treatment of facial pigmentations and leg veins, as well as for LaserBodySculpting for the removal of unwanted fat, and also for wrinkles and skin appearance.

If SE Concepts ever decides to create a franchise network based upon SpaCapsule, they would also be in the same arena as a number of well-known massage franchises as well, including:

• Hand & Stone
• Massage Spa LaVida Massage
• Massage Greenelements therapeutic massage
• WoodHouse Day SpaMassaggiano
• Massage HeightsKeep in Touch
• Massage EnvyZen Massage Center
• One2One BodyScapes

The key difference between all of these potential competitors and SE Concepts is, of course, SpaCapsule.

Simulated Environment Concepts (SMEV) Announces Preferred Vendor Agreement with Prominent Women’s Fitness Franchise

May 25, 2011

Simulated Environment Concepts, the manufacturer and developer of medical, aesthetic, weight loss, wellness, and slimming equipment, announced before the bell today that it has signed a co-branding preferred vendor agreement with Elements for Women, a unique franchise offering Health Clubs and Weight Loss Centers for Women. With locations in the U.S., Mexico and Canada, SE Concepts anticipates a long term and mutually rewarding relationship.

“We are very happy that our product has become the equipment of choice for this rapidly growing Women’s Fitness franchise,” stated Dr. Ilya Spivak, Marketing Director of SE Concepts and Co-Inventor of the SpaCapsule. “The Weight Loss and Fitness industry is just one of the markets served by our product — and has turned into a very large segment. With as much as $60 Billion spent yearly on weight loss in the United States alone, we are eager and ready to accommodate the growing demand of the market.”

As terms of the vendor agreement, franchisees are now entitled to place SpaCapsule units in their centers and offer slimming and weight loss services packages. This serves as an additional stream of revenue for the franchisee and added benefits for their customers. According to today’s release, the franchise is expected to expand to more locations in the coming months.

“While this is the first US based fitness franchise to have agreed to a preferred vendor’s arrangement, it by no means is the only US fitness franchises who has expressed interest in the SpaCapsule. We’re expecting to enter many more fitness facilities within the next two years. Perhaps initially women’s fitness centers such as Curves due to the proven slimming and cellulite reduction benefits that women enjoy. However, we’re confident that both men and women looking to enhance their fitness regimen and performance will look to use the SpaCapsule at their local gym,” concluded Dr. Spivak.

Simulated Environment Concepts, Inc. (SMEV) Stands Alone

May 18, 2011

There are a number of things that clearly differentiate SpaCapsule, the popular self-contained automated massage and environmental simulation system produced by SE Concepts, from traditional water massage units. Most dramatically, the product’s revolutionary design and visual appeal instantly set it apart, but it’s the advanced integration of its rich feature set that has made SpaCapsule the latest status symbol.

SpaCapsule, designed by doctors, is a unique fusion of the latest engineering and technology with a medical understanding of both the physical and mental aspects of the human body. Far more than giving an unparalleled massage, SpaCapsule is designed to effectively reduce the debilitating effects of stress through a carefully designed mix of visual, auditory, and other stimuli.

A good example is the system’s aroma therapy feature, which is completely integrated into SpaCapsule, unlike with traditional massage systems. It offers users over 120 essential oils, and is designed to diffuse over a short distance, without disturbing the surroundings. The aroma therapy system is the result of a long study of olfactory science, allowing your nose to sense the desired aroma throughout the session, without losing sensitivity. The use of a sophisticated aroma system is not just a gimmick with SpaCapsule. It’s part of a serious holistic treatment, designed to reduce stress and its damaging effects.

Aromatherapy itself has long been used to help relieve pain, improve skin, lessen fatigue, reduce anxiety, and promote an overall sense of well-being. The term was first used in 1930 by French chemist Rene Maurice Gattefosse, who studied the physical and psycho-therapeutic benefits of essential oils. Later, Austrian born biochemist Madame Marguerite Maury developed aromatherapy as a holistic treatment, and also began using essential oils as part of massage.

It’s simply one example of the qualitative difference between SpaCapsule and other hydro massage products, reflecting the dedication of the inventors and founders of SE Concepts to making SpaCapsule, and their company the undisputed leader in the field.

Simulated Environment Concepts, Inc. (SMEV) Releases COO Interview

May 11, 2011

Allen Licht, the Chief Operating Officer of Simulated Environment Concepts, recently sat down for an interview with OTC Voice. SE Concepts is the maker of SpaCapsule, an all-in-one water massage and sensory stimulation system. The interview touched on some of the current and new markets in which SpaCapsule is finding acceptance, and the direction the company is now headed.

The first thing made clear in the interview is the growing breadth of the SpaCapsule market. Although the name suggests a spa orientation, SpaCapsule is being embraced by many diverse industries. Spas, to be sure, have been a successful market for the company, but SpaCapsule is now being used by corporations for their employees, by hotels for guests, by health and fitness clubs, tanning salons, chiropractors, physical therapists, orthopedic surgeons, and even plastic surgeons. The company has also begun developing mobile spa units, truck-mounted for transport to events. And, of course, there are individual users all over the world who have found it worth the investment to have their very own SpaCapsule. SpaCapsule is already found in over 30 countries around the world.

One of the key points made was the acceptance of SpaCapsule in the medical market. SpaCapsule was created, and the company is led, by doctors, specifically to address the needs of patients with pain and stress issues. Fibromyalgia patients, for example, benefit from SpaCapsule’s ability to relieve pain for which there are few alternative treatments. The AARP recently did a feature on SpaCapsule from the medical standpoint, for rehabilitation and pain management.

Overall demand has been helped by growing media exposure for SpaCapsule and SE Concepts, including stories on NBC, CBS, ABC, and in the NY Times. And now the company is moving aggressively into weight-loss, based upon independent studies showing SpaCapsule’s unique weight and cellulite reduction capabilities, a market that could exceed all the others.

Another point made is how the company is setting the foundation for listing on a higher exchange. SE Concepts is a fully compliant company, current with all quarterly and annual reports, but has engaged a known and reputable auditing firm to audit financials. The move is an important step in transitioning to a higher listing.

Simulated Environment Concepts, Inc. (SMEV) Plans a Worldwide Micro-Spa Empire

May 9, 2011

“My first day in business was phenomenal! The minute we opened we started making money. I’ve never seen anything like this!”

What they’re talking about is, according to SE Concepts, the most powerful business tool in any business. Specifically, they’re describing the use of SpaCapsule®, the company’s all-in-one water massage and sensory stimulation system, as a source for making money. Testimonials, as we all know, are a dime a dozen, but SE Concepts insists that the above is the most typical testimony you will hear from all the owners of the Mall Retail-Kiosk Business, one of the company’s programs for setting up entrepreneurs in their own business selling SpaCapsule services to the public.

Variations of the concept include:

• Relax Oasis, which offers a SpaCapsule massage together with wellness and spa related products
• SpaCapsule Inline Store, a store outfitted with products and equipment to address the needs of stressed-out shoppers
• Traveler’s Relaxation Center, a unique airport concept helping weary and delayed passengers relax

The key behind the system’s appeal is the fact that anybody can do it. The sophistication of SpaCapsule, integrating the world’s most advanced hydro massage with visual and audio stimulation and even aroma therapy, is all programmed within the system, making it so easy to set up and operate that money is generated the very first day. Underpinning it all is the level of support provided by SE Concepts, ensuring that all questions are answered and all problems are resolved. The company has firmly pegged its own success to the success of its entrepreneur and distributor base.

In addition, there is little question of the need for the final product. There are few aspects of modern life that people don’t find stressful, and SpaCapsule addresses that growing need in the most comprehensive and affordable way available. Add to this the number of people and small businesses out there that are anxious to generate income and the potential becomes obvious.

Simulated Environment Concepts, Inc. (SMEV) Announces Major Change to Compensation Method

May 3, 2011

Simulated Environment Concepts, Inc. announced this morning that in most cases it will now utilize preferred shares to compensate all of its service providers, particularly its IR/PR professionals, in an effort to largely eliminate the use of common stock as a means of payment. This change will not only reduce the expense associated with issuing common stock, but also keep the Issued and Outstanding average rate of increase substantially lower and encourage service providers to take a long term position within the company.

Dr. Ella Frenkel, President and CEO of Simulated Environment Concepts (SE Concepts), stated, “As with any public company, especially small caps, there is a cost associated with acquiring the services of consultants to assist the company with developing and implementing its business plan. This is especially true where we are educating prospective investors through IR/PR marketing services. Though the overall cost of consultants can be rather expensive, we believe it should not drain the company’s resources or be detrimental to our investors.”

Nearly all of the groups engaged by SE Concepts for various awareness and business consulting services have agreed to a preferred share payment method. The company believes expectations of increased corporate activity, more distributorships, and additional established preferred vendor and co-branding relationships have influenced business and awareness consultants to make the gesture of confidence in accepting the preferred stock payment.

“I’m confident this adjustment will work in favor of building greater shareholder value and strengthening the confidence in our company,” Dr. Frenkel concluded.
