The company has two main projects in the U.S. and Mexico: The Port Esperanza Project and The Burgos Hub Pipeline Project. The Ports Esperanza Project is located off the Port of Long Beach in California and the Burgos Hub Pipeline Project will connect Texas with Northeastern parts of Mexico.
Tidelands Oil and Gas expects the rising demand for natural gas to increase over time. The Energy Information Agency (EIA) reports that the consumption of natural gas in the U.S. will increase from 21.8 trillion cubic feet in 2006 to 23.4 trillion in 2009. Further projections estimate the consumption of natural gas to reach 24.3 trillion cubic feet in 2016.
