VirTra Systems (VTSI.PK) Posts Record Revenues as Sales Continue to Increase

VirTra Systems, Inc. released its second quarter numbers earlier this week which revealed more than 50% increases for both growth and profit as compared to the same quarter in 2009. The second quarter was the highest revenue-generating quarter in the Company’s history with sales in excess of $1.5 million, which represents a 57% increase over the same quarter in 2009.

VirTra continues to grow internally to both facilitate and perpetuate the increased sales. Six new sales people have been hired recently, bringing the total number of employees to 29, and the Company is moving to a new, larger headquarters. The growth has not affected efficiency as gross margins for the last quarter increased over 9% (from 60.2% to 69.4%) from the previous quarter.

Ordinary income grew from $213,792 to $472,583 for a 121% increase from last quarter and net gain per share for the second quarter of 2010 was $.0024 compared to $.0021 per share in Q2 2009.

VirTra’s cash was $814,690 as of June 30, 2010 compared to $284,377 as of June 30, 2009. Also, shareholder’s equity increased over $1,980,000 to $7.87 million at the end of Q2 2010 from $5.89 million as of June 30, 2009.

Recently, VirTra announced the sale of a third firearms training simulator to the Institute of Technology in California. The previous orders were announced in April and May as the Institute is developing a world-class program amongst several of their campuses. In addition to the Institute of Technology, VirTra has seen sales continue to grow through their relationship with Lockheed Martin. On June 30th, the Company announced that it had received an order for 13 Threat-Fire II(TM) sense-memory simulators and 15 wireless stations to accompany the Threat-Fire II(TM) devices from Lockheed Martin, which represented the largest order to date with the industry giant.

International sales have also helped propel the rapid growth as orders for the state of the art IVR-300 series of simulators were purchased in June from agencies in Korea and Australia. The orders included fully equipped, 5-screen, 300-degree HD firearms and use of force simulator, including tetherless recoil kits, the patent-pending Threat-Fire(TM) safe shoot-back device and a library of marksmanship and decision making training scenarios.

VirTra Systems, Inc. announced today that they have received repeat business from the Institute of Technology, Modesto campus, through an order for delivery of second firearm simulator. The Institute of Technology, which has four campuses in California, is a premier career-focused college that provides a comprehensive educational experience in a variety of growing areas of employment.

In April of this year, the Institute placed their first order for VirTra Systems to supply and install a use-of-force simulator at the Institute’s Clovis campus. The Institute of Technology is developing a state-of-the-art training facilities that are highlighted by the virtual reality training simulators being supplied by VirTra.

The most recent order is for the IVR-300 system, which is a cutting-edge, 300 degree, five-screen simulator that includes high definition video and features a series of transducers to create realistic bass sounds to surround the trainee with the look, feel and sounds of a real-life event. The order also consists of recoil kits, multiple tetherless firearm recoil kits, firearm refill and recharge stations and many other advanced options for optimal training including return fire simulation (Threat-Fire™) devices. Threat-Fire is a patent-pending device that safely simulates the pain of hostile return fire with a 300 millisecond electric stun that can be adjusted to 2.5 seconds.

The Institute provides small classes to assure students receive intensive training with the simulators and close interaction with the instructors. “The more realistic these scenarios are, the more effective they will be,” said Lillian Enger, President of the Institute of Technology’s Modesto campus. “We’re committed to providing our students the most realistic career experiences possible. VirTra Systems participated in the International Law Enforcement Educators and Training Association (ILEETA) Trade Show in Chicago on April 19 – 24 and has received positive reviews regarding their simulators on Policemag.com after they showcased their IVR-300 HD training system. As an organization, ILEETA is known worldwide for their commitment to the reduction of law enforcement risk through the enhancement of training for criminal justice practitioners. Policemag.com, the online law enforcement magazine, is recognized as an industry leader in the police community.

The author of the article, David Griffith, states, “The visuals on the VirTra are stunning, but what really sets the IVR-300 HD apart from many other simulators is its sound quality. Stone (Spencer Stone, VirTra’s business director of law enforcement) was playing a helicopter effect at ILEETA, and it sounded like one was landing in the training area. VirTra Systems announced that it has received an order from a prominent South American customer for its IVR(R) 360 totally immersive small arms training simulator. The Simulator is VirTra’s most advanced product and features six high-def screens to fully immerse trainees in a life like environment.

The simulator order includes the Company’s patent-pending Hybrid-CGI(TM) scenario engine, original training courseware in judgmental use-of-force, pistol qualification, automatic-rifle qualification, and tactical rifle qualification.

VirTra Systems, Inc. (VTSI.OB) Reaches an Additional 50% Gains During Friday’s Trading Hours

Yesterday afternoon we mentioned that VTSI.OB share prices were moving upward powerfully. Today the stock made an explosive move to $0.24 for 50% gains since just yesterday’s close and 300% gains from a low made towards the end of December.

In October of last year VirTra Systems launched a new mobile live-fire small arms training simulation trailer product. The simulation trailer is based on the Company’s successful IVR simulation technology, which offers a full-featured judgmental-use-of-force scenario and three-lane marksmanship/target simulator.

The VP of Simulation commented, “Demand for such mobile live-fire trailers is considerable both domestically as well as internationally. VirTra Systems, Inc. (VTSI.OB) Continues Uptrend to Higher Prices

Since the 27th of last month, VTSI.OB share prices have increased 100%. This afternoon the price per share is up 7.14% from yesterday’s close on 1,000 traded shares. The powerful move came after the Company announced that it has received an order for six more small arms training simulators from its partner, Ti Training Corp, in Englewood, Colorado.

The orders to be filled are worth an estimated $300,000 and came from nearly every market segment including federal agencies, state agencies, municipal and county governments, as well as a state funded mass transit authority. The CEO commented, “’Ti Training’s expert sales force is highly effective marketing these types of systems to domestic law enforcement and local government entities.”

The company also revealed that it has a backlog of 25 firearms simulators to be filled and anticipates delivering those to the Transportation Security Administration in the Department of Homeland Security and a European customer soon. VirTra Systems, Inc. (VTSI.OB) Share Prices Increase an Additional 11.11% Wednesday Morning

VTSI.OB shares continued to reach for higher prices after creating a base at $0.008 last week. Monday the price per share increased 8.43% and Tuesday the stock market was closed for New Years Day. The Company has moved forward considerably with its business plan throughout the year of 2007.

VirTra Systems recently announced unaudited results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2007. The total revenue reportedly increased 164% from $462,921 for the third quarter of 2006 to over $1.2 million. Major General Perry V. Virtra Systems, Inc. (VTSI.PK) Has Much Potential to Excel with Leading Senior Management Team

VirTra System’s management team consists of industry professionals with extensive knowledge and background in both leadership positions and the virtual reality industry. The CEO, Major General Perry V. Dalby (USA-Retired), acquired his Bachelor of Science degree from Oklahoma Christian University in 1966 and his Masters of Science degree from the University of Southern California in 1978. He began his military service in 1966 and was commissioned a year later.

As General Dalby served in the military, his leadership qualities shown and soon he was assigned as the executive officer for the 55th Aviation Detachment. When he returned from the mission, he was assigned as an infantry company commander with the 2nd Armored Division. In December of 2000, General Dalby assumed command of the 75th Division (Training Support) and mobilized the division in support of the global war on terrorism in January, 2003. In addition to the CEO’s illustrious military command and training experience, he also previously served in a management capacity for private-sector contract-manufacturing operations.

The President of the Company, Bob Ferris, previously was the president of the former Ferris Productions, which he founded in 1993. He received his degree in systems engineering from the University of Arizona and obtained a grant from the Honors College to study data visualation in virtual reality. Mr. Ferris has lectured at various trade shows, published articles, developed advanced, high-tech products, and is known as one of the ‘grandfathers’ of virtual reality.

VirTra Systems’ CEO, Major General Perry V. Dalby (USA-Retired), announced today that the company received six additional small arms training simulator orders from its partner, Ti Training Corp.

The orders, which came from almost every market segment including federal agencies, state agencies, municipal and county government, and a state funded mass transit authority, together are worth an estimated $300,000 and marketed under the brand name, Training Lab(TM).

The CEO stated, “We continue to be pleased with our partnership with Ti Training. Ti Training’s expert sales force is highly effective marketing these types of systems to domestic law enforcement and local government entities.”

VirTra Systems announced this morning that it will exhibit its dismounted infantry simulator, which is known as the most technologically advanced in its class, at this year’s Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation & Education Conference (I/ITSEC), in Orlando, Florida.

VirTra Systems, Inc. (VTSI.OB) Third Quarter Revenues Increase 164%

VirTra Systems, Inc. (VTSI.OB) has announced unaudited fiscal results for the third quarter that has ended September 30, 2007.

During this period, total revenue totaled $1,222,325. This figure, compared to the value of $462,921 that was reported during the third quarter of 2006, represents an increase of 164%. Furthermore, net loss for this quarter was $318,388, or $0.00 per share. VirTra System’s net loss reflects a onetime accounting charge for the 2007 Employee Stock Option Plan of $413,455; had it not been for this one time charge, the third quarter’s balance sheets would have shown an overall net gain.

Major General Perry V. Dalby (USA-Retired), VirTra Systems’ Chief Executive Officer, stated, “This quarter’s best-ever performance is significant and reflects continued quarter-over-quarter growth. During the third quarter, VirTra Systems’ sold, upgraded, or installed its IVR(R) immersive small arms simulators for the United States Air Force, the Department of Defense, the United States Navy, the United States Marine Corps, United Sates Marshals Service, the Kansas City Police Department, as well as other police departments and training academies.”

The system features high-definition judgmental use-of-force scenarios, marksmanship/target training, an OC pepper spray training system, and weapon training conversion kits allowing trainees to safely train using their own weapons without the need for permanent modifications.

Virtra Systems’ CEO, Major General Perry V. Dalby, announced this morning that the company has launched a new mobile live-fire small arms training simulation trailer product. The new simulation trailer (as pictured below) is based on VirTra Systems’ successful IVR simulation technology, which offers a full-featured judgmental-use-of-force scenario and three-lane marksmanship/target simulator, and is available in both law enforcement and military models for use with fully automatic small arms up to .50 caliber in size. The mobile live-fire trailer costs between $250,000 and $500,000 depending on how the customer accessorizes the product.

VTSI.OB shares are currently engaged in a multi-day run and have increased considerably since our “One to Watch” Alert last week. Yesterday the stock experienced record-breaking volume, and today shares broke past the 50-day average.

VirTra Systems, Inc. (VTSI.OB) Receives 24-system Simulator Order from the Department of Homeland Security

VirTra Systems announced that it has received a 24-system order from the Department of Homeland Security. The 24-system simulator order included weapon training-conversion kits and other accessories, bringing the total order to nearly $1 million dollars. The IVR base simulators, marketed through VirTra Systems’ partner Ti Training Corp, have generated total sales of 45 full-featured, single-screen small arms training simulators since last October.

Major General Dalby, CEO of Virtra Systems, stated, “We are pleased that Ti Training’s sales have gained significant traction since last fall. The team at Ti Training certainly put together a major effort to win this tender from such a prestigious agency, and speaks volumes about the caliber and effort of Ti Training’s sales force.”

He continued to say, “In addition, with our IVR small arms training simulators now installed in every branch of our military, federal installations with the U.S. Marshals Service and the DHS, multiple international installations, and key law enforcement agency placements such as Kansas City and Charleston police departments, it is clear that immersive training is preferred and has been embraced by the industry. VirTra Systems is committed to continue leading the way developing immersive training simulation products.”

The management of the company is pleased that sales forecasts have been increased due to several unexpected domestic and international sales requests. The CEO concluded that he expects “a strong showing by year’s end.”
