GRILLiT, Inc. (GRLT) Making Waves in Florida with Healthy, Made-To-Order Casual Dining Menu

GRILLiT is turning heads in the food service space with an exceptional brand of fast-casual restaurants that are changing people’s pre-conceived notions about the potential for delicious America, Asian Fusion, and Latin American style lunch and dinner menus, including sumptuous grilled foods, to also be healthy.

One of the keys to the company’s success thus far has been to use the freshest ingredients for their made-to-order lunch and dinner menu, which is also made available as carry-out or for event catering. The other key has been a mix of casual dining atmosphere and intelligent location of the company’s venues in high-traffic plazas anchored by the Publix Super Market chain, one of the fastest growing chains in the country with solid traction in GRLT’s initial target markets throughout Florida and the southeastern United States.

Bringing four decades of experience in the food industry to the table, GRLT understands so much of the dining experience is about those high-quality ingredients that make up the dishes. From crisp, fresh produce, to grain-fed Angus Beef that is seasoned to perfection with a carefully selected palette of herbs and spices, GRILLiT is keeping patrons coming back for more. The open-display grill and kitchen are a big hit at both of their current locations in Florida and the most recently opened (May 10) restaurant in the thriving City of Pembroke Pines saw a momentous debut, attended by over 200 patrons, as well as by the CEO and several members of the Pembroke Pines Chamber of Commerce.

Reception to both locations (the other is in Airpark Plaza over in Miami) has been outstanding and this menu of made-to-order, high-quality food, that is healthy and yet affordable, is generating significant organic word of mouth. Social media is buzzing with talk of the grilled chicken, steak, and shrimp prepared before people’s eyes in a relaxing casual dining environment, a formula that hits a certain demographic sweet spot, especially in the southeastern market. GRILLiT serves fresh salads, pasta bowls, and wraps as well, again prepared using optimally freshly ingredients, with signature salsas, sauces, and hot or cold toppings the customer can choose.

Doubling-down on their recent successes, GRLT moved to bring in some heavy guns as well recently, with the June 11 election of industry veteran Rob Elliott to the Chairmanship of the company’s Board. This is a man who has done tours of duty in senior management at some of the biggest names in the business, including Little Caesars Pizza, Quiznos, and Papa Murphy’s Pizza. This bold and decisive move was followed up by the June 20 retention of noted Chicago PR and franchise consulting firm, Sanderson & Associates, putting GRLT in a prime position to fully execute their marketing objectives. Sanderson & Associates helped build brands like Hardees, Jimmy John’s, Subway, Jamba Juice, and Sbarro, landing covers and major features in top publications like INC., WSJ, and Newsweek, as well as spots across the spectrum of TV and radio.

GRILLiT is clearly gearing up to fully capture the maximum expansion potential in their initial target markets and the longer-term goal of nationwide expansion is rapidly materializing as well.
