Intelimax Media, Inc. (IXMD) Led by Experienced Management Team

Fantasy sports is known in North America as one of the hottest ways for fans to tap into widespread, ever-popular sports mania. Whether one is a die-hard fan or just a casual observer, this pastime allows millions of sports enthusiasts to interact and compete with each other on a seasonal basis.

The hype doesn’t lie in just the competitions, either. Since so many turn to fantasy sports as a source of winnable income, this industry is reported to be a sizable $5 billion annually. With over 36 million fans and each fan spending $500 on average on fantasy sports annually, there are many companies which seek to capitalize on this unique market opportunity.

Intelimax Media, a Canadian digital entertainment company, stands out from the rest by letting users enter competitions on a daily or weekly basis, as opposed to being limited to season-long competitions. The company makes these competitions available through its platform DraftTeam.com. Setting one’s team up for competition takes little time and ease compared to “traditional” fantasy sports platforms. The company’s ongoing development of hundreds of additional opportunities for sports indulgence and competition also push it from the traditional fantasy sports platforms, offering more chances for other plays to jump into the action.

The company leverages an experienced management team to help in its efforts to become the mainstream fantasy sports platform provider. These contributors include:

Mr. Michael Young (President, CFO, and Director)

With extensive experience in senior management for publicly and privately held companies and consulting for business development, finance, marketing, and public relations, Mr. Young serves as the company’s President and CFO. He is a graduate of the Certified Financial Planning Education Program from the Financial Advisors Association of Canada and the British Columbia Institute of Technology, where he studied Business Administration.

Three key prior roles include serving as CEO and Director of Carbon Friendly Solutions, Inc.; VP and Director of CFS, where the company raised almost $5 million CAD for working capital and project goals; and Director and Corporate Secretary for Stream Communications Network and Media, Inc., where he was in charge of corporate development and public relations. During his time, the company grew from a start-up to an enterprise with over $5 million USD in revenues and $15 million in raised funds.

Mr. John Buttedahl (CEO and Director)

Mr. Buttedahl boasts of over 20 years of sales and business management experience. His extensive knowledge regarding internet marketing and customer acquisition and revenue-increasing strategies have been a tremendous asset to Intelimax Media. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Carleton University.

Career highlights include serving as Senior Business Development Manager for iGaming Software Ltd., where he was responsible for signing and launching VIP Poker, Casino, and Sports Wagering licensees; Senior Business Development Consultant for the Internet Marketing Center, where he advised over 1,100 clients on all parts of their digital businesses; and Business Director for eCommerce, vacation ownership, and finance companies, where he developed business processes that boasted as much as $100,000 per day in sales volume.

Mr. Kyle Johnston (Corporate Development)

Mr. Johnston leverages his broad experience and knowledge in internet and social media marketing to give the company brand a strong PR presence. He is an expert in viral marketing and using social media platforms to elevate public awareness of corporate brands.

Mr. Johnston aims to make DraftTeam.com the “Fantasy Sports Destination”. He also leverages experience in Merchant Services, Security, and Customer Service from Neteller PLC (now Optimal Payments PLC), which will be vital to Intelimax Media’s establishment.

Mr. Paul Larkin (Director)

Mr. Larkin brings over 40 years of experience in corporate finance and capital markets. He currently serves as President of New Dawn Holdings Ltd., an independent consulting firm that provides administration and financial advisory services. In the 1970s and 80s Mr. Larkin held multiple corporate finance roles in the Canadian banking system. He has also served as an audit, compensation, and executive committee member for multiple public companies.
